Wow, she really is the real deal. Total package right there, the voice, the emotion, the beauty, and whoo, those legs. Such an all-around talent with class and integrity. The shame is that I’m learning more about her and seeing more of her now in 2020 than ever before...
I love Judith no matter whether she is with The Seekers or on her own she is simply an Angel! God bless Judith and yes she is beautiful inside and out :) I love the way Judith almost cries as she introduces this song saying: " There is no place like home..."
RICHARD ALAN SAVAGE I agree Judith is a gift from God. Judith have the best voice in the history of recorded sound, friendly regards from Amsterdam The Netherlands Esther
Denny, someone posted this reminder on FB today. Thank you for sharing this lesser known performance by our dear Judith so long ago. Hadn't heard it in ages. So nostalgic on the heels of her departure from us. We are so lucky to live in these times when we have access to the music and videos of the treasures that we hold dear to our hearts, Judith being at the top of my list! ❤
Judith has it all: A mesmerizing voice, class, looks, attitude, talent galore, a beautiful shape and on and on. One of two people that I would love to have a breakfast with and just chat.
She's lovely - hard to believe she ever had self-image or self-esteem issues. She's very talented and has great stage presence, but I have to say that I liked her better as part of the Seekers than as a soloist, probably because that's how I was first aware of her and tuned in to her music. The Seekers were great - too bad they disbanded.
Thank you for the music the songs your singing thanks for all the Joy's your giving who could live without them I ask in all honesty thank you judith for giving them to me
Bugger me, Judith is an absolute stunner! The face of an Angel, just so beautiful, and a positively evil figure that could corrupt any man! What a figure! Then there is the voice! No wonder I'm still completely besotted after all these years!
An uncorrupt woman, could never corrupt a man. What she wore in her early days and later years with the Seekers, was the beautiful classical dress. It silhouetted her, perfectly 👍🏼.
My cousin, who passed away yesterday, said her father used to site this song when she was planning to leave her small village in Maine for an acting school in the big city of Boston. Don't think it was true, but it makes me sad all the same.
I've been a Seekers fan throughout my life, from the early 60's to now, thinking,if I'm honest ,that the religous songs were too square, and concentrating on the popier songs..Now,at 66,I like the religious songs more, believing that their songs can communicate with someone like me,who spurns organised religion, but 'gets' their message on my terms, in later life.In all that time,i have never heard this song, but instantly relate to it.there is a contentment to be found as the years advance.I love this chance to enjoy life.It isn't afforded to everyone.
Amazingly, during her youth, she was very insecure about her looks and her weight. If you can get a copy of her biography, "Colours of My Life" you will find many surprises.
Judith was always a rather conservative girl, and for those of us who love her, this has always been part of her appeal. Unfortunately, for all of her great talent, she never achieved success as a solo act the way she did with the Seekers. The matchless sound of the Seekers had a far greater appeal- and does so to this day.
I never followed her solo career, and this performance reminds me why. That awful orchestra for a start, and that awful song seemingly straight out of some musical, utter "showbiz" and horrible. She's much better than that, and the Seekers brought that out of her.
@softshoes You're right, she's gorgeous. With legs like that, I can't figure why she always favored those ankle-length frocks and granny gown when she sang with the Seekers.
the audience is stiff no smiling or toe tapping Judith is singing her heart put does not seem too move the crowd . I my self feel her beautiful voice and charm must be a Britch thing.
This shows perfectly why the Seekers were so great, they were a 4 piece harmony band, with Judith as the amazing lead vocal. It was never just about Judith. This performance, and arrangement, apart from the costume, is instantly forgettable.
Judith sings as always wonderfully, but she has forgotten her roots, folk and jazz. The song is over-produced. Maybe she didn't have artistic control at this point in time . . .
One of a kind. RIP sweet Judith. You were so gifted, so talented, so special.
judith durham was always in the top 3 worldclass singers, beautiful voice, beautiful face, brilliant performer, xxx

So glad you went back to the Seekers, Judith. But utterly great to see you in a mini skirt.
Brilliant talent and beautiful woman -in any era!
Lately I’ve been alternating between her and Mary Hopkin. They both have able to calm me in times like these lately. I love these angels!
Yes, i agree, Mary Hopkin was a real beauty with a good voice too.
Sensational singer, just love Judith. Aussie girls are very special, and she's a very special Aussie girl.

@@ivangranger8494 yeah, especially THAT little red dress!
Thanks again
Judith for ever !
Yes.
Love the song; love her voice; but it's completely overwhelmed by that arrangement.
Yes. All in all her solo career seems not to have been well-managed.
My cousin, who passed away yesterday, said her father used to site this song when she was planning to leave her small village in Maine for an acting school in the big city of Boston. Don't think it was true, but it makes me sad all the same.
EddieParker man what voice she’s so cute and adorable wow 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍🌹😍😘❤️💕
thanks again
Thanks again Judith for this Treat.
Wonderful
@vohor1 I never noticed that little break in her voice in that intro until you mentioned it. I think you are quite right.
I Love The Seekers Very good excellent
Oh, so she has nice legs too! Mighty fine songbird is she and a rare beauty to behold!

I love her
Wow wow wow. I miss her.
Judith Durham mała postać ale "wielki"wspaniały głos-brawo !!!
@FoxRunMan Hey, I was wondering the same thing. What great gams!! And she's simply an astounding talent, and I mean, astounding!!!
Amazingly, during her youth, she was very insecure about her looks and her weight. If you can get a copy of her biography, "Colours of My Life" you will find many surprises.
Bluebird. Silver Lined.
Back Backyard- Brilliant.

Wow, what a sweetie.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JUDITH !!!
Beauty, class, talent.
She looks good there ..... just like she did in the 'Myra' video.
@softshoes You're right, she's gorgeous. With legs like that, I can't figure why she always favored those ankle-length frocks and granny gown when she sang with the Seekers.
Goosebumps every time at 0:13....
Love Judith of course. Huge orchestration but...where are they?
She could sing the phone book and I would applaud
Hahaha 🤣
bellissima bravissima Judith
Judith had legs? My God they should never be covered.
one above each foot
@@johnoconnell4972 Growing up all I ever saw her in were those long gown type dresses.
@@softshoes A stunningly beautiful woman .
the audience is stiff no smiling or toe tapping Judith is singing her heart put does not seem too move the crowd . I my self feel her beautiful voice and charm must be a Britch thing.
Hard to belief that she had doubts about her looks!
@puppydoug Stiff???? I'd say it's more like rigor mortis.
And Judith thought she was overweight. She had beautiful figure not overweight.🎼🎶🎶🎶🇦🇺
To be honest this feeble song does her no justice.
This shows perfectly why the Seekers were so great, they were a 4 piece harmony band, with Judith as the amazing lead vocal. It was never just about Judith.
This performance, and arrangement, apart from the costume, is instantly forgettable.
Judith needed to show no legs or body to gain appeal.....she has more than any other female singer.
Judith sings as always wonderfully, but she has forgotten her roots, folk and jazz. The song is over-produced. Maybe she didn't have artistic control at this point in time . . .
Lively audience!
Respectful audience.
Pure talent. To hell with you naysayers.
THEY CALLED HER " SQUINT "
Her legs are not ugly. Why she hide them a lot.
@coyotesong hihi right
@vohor1 absolute
Thanks again.
