The Beatles were phenomenal but this song never really appealed to me until I heard this rendition. Judith breathes new life and a sense of sincerity into the song as if she's relating her own life experience. Here, she displays that wonderful magic touch that I have grown to love so much.
I'm not afraid to admit that her voice can bring me to tears, she's got a god given ability to put so much emotion into her voice. There have been very few singers truly capable of this.
Judith's voice is intoxicating. She is a member of a very select group of performers that can sing any song, from any era, and leave an audience speechless. If on the day I die I hear a voice as beautiful as Judith's I will know that I am in Heaven.
Sublimely beautiful. Her singing is acoustics but the meaning and intent bursts forth in the theater of the unconscious, obliterating all barriers and giving its message to the inner self.
What I can't get over is that Judy puts in a singing performance of such incredible poise and beauty, and then looks relieved that the audience shows appreciation.
