Girl you are awesome, I have been searching for this a long time ago, you gave me a great idea. I was wondering if the beans can be used without drying them, in that way, maybe you will get a better result.
You done well to get this far. For next time you can mix the mango powder with water and then strain if off. Wait for the oil and water to separate. Similar method to making coconut oil. Good luck

hi! what happend when it cooled down? oils dissolve better hot, you might have simply see the oils dissolve. you could try and put it in the fridge see if the water turns into ice and the oil seperates again.

You would be surprised to know that the east indian mango seeds are small compared to the native mangoes like black and hairy mangoes😊😅. Hii there😊.. I didn't get any butter. I put in Shea butter, whisked but both there was still a separation. I think roasting/ toasting them doesn't help express the oil, mainly because mango seed is not that oily.
