    ✨I am thinking about giving a few of these a way to test if they are truly no melt. I will package them and send them to the winners with no ice packs or thermal wrapping while it is super hot outside.
    Would you all like that as a giveaway? I will probably give away about 5 body butters. However, I need the recipients to be willing to let me know if it melted or not. It will not melt, but it still will be a fun project.
    COMMENT below if you would like a giveaway! I will host it on UA-cam and Instagram. 💜

    In Nigeria, for a babys 1st bath we use plam oil to massage and wash off all the mucus and remaining residue from birth. It makes the skin sooo soft and the baby sleeps for ages. We also use it to cook and for small home remedies. The west always criticises plam oil because the way they obtain it isn't sustainable and really harms the environment. But back home we are really mindful of how we harvest our plam nuts and use everything from the plam tree. I'm so happy that I'm seeing plam oil being used for this creation. ❤😍😘

      Yes!!! I love it! What home remedies do you use it for?

      @@KinkyChickNoLye idk the English word for it but it's a cross between a pimple and a cist, ok so when you shave you intimate area sometimes you get ingrown hair which can swell it puss. So we put a plam oil and salt mixture on it to cool down the swelling and make it 'ripe' (dont know the English term ) so you can pop it, you can also drink a table spoon plam oil when you loose your voice or have a tight throat. And When you have bumps of your scalp. There's more but it's hard to describe in English.😂

      @@KinkyChickNoLye sis, i dont mean to stop the palm oil remedy train, but please don't pop your pimples. That just releases bacteria. Exfoliate your skin (chemical exfoliant recommended) to get rid of them, and prep the hair for a closer shave next time (use good tools/creams).

      Palm oil is frowned upon because of the amount of palm trees being destroyed and over sourced. Too many going down and not enough going up. Don't want to end up like the Hyophorbe amaricaulis. It's another type of palm tree that was over sourced.. now there's only 1 left in the whole world! What will you be greasing up your babies then, if that happens.. coconut oil?!

    I absolutely love the color. I was cringing when I saw the palm oil but then I realized wait, this is such a great great idea using it as a coloring agent. I mean I cook with it why can't it go on my skin. I think maybe for me it's the palm oil smell but a little bit won't hurt. I am soo trying this.
    Beautiful!

    Hi Yaya, love your videos. The butter looks fluffy and creamy just like a traditional body butter. The colour fits the mango theme really well. Could yellow iron oxide be used as a colourant? If yes, what percentage would you suggest using?

    I just found your channel and I love it! I made this butter…. but used a few substitutions with ingredients I had on hand. The butter is beautiful but really soaps a lot…to the point it spreads off into Patches when applying (to my legs). It still rubs in but takes some work. I switched out lotionpro to glyceryl stearate PEG-100 Stearate, montanov L to BTMS 50, and Nastrasil to coco-caprylate. Any thoughts? Thx so much!!

    • @LMF3
      @LMF3 3 місяці тому

      It’s not sticky at all, and feels lovely once it’s rubbed in. Not greasy but still moisturizing and silky. I didn’t whip it all that long because it is emulsified…..maybe I’ll try whipping it more

      Turn all the measurements into percentages. Divide an ingredient with the batch size and multiply that by 100. The answer you get is the percentage. Then take the percentage and multiply it by the batch size you want to make. You can either press % on the calculator or / the answer by 100.

    Wow! This looks amazing! Definitely will have to try this. I had a couple of quick questions please! So will the Natrasil help with the “soaping” look when applying this to the skin? I’ve noticed Glyceryl Stearate-PEG 100 and Montanov tends to do that a lot? And does LotionCrafter ship pretty fast? Thank you! 😀

    • @YayaDIYCreations
      @YayaDIYCreations  2 роки тому

      Hi! Thank you! There is still that soapy look because the oil phase is so large; but it absorbs well. The natrasil helps the thick butter glide onto the skin and feel smooth and soft. I hope that helps explain it. 😊💜
