I really appreciate all ur efforts , while other youtubers were just mixing mango seeds with some other oil, none of them showed the making of pure mango seed oil/ butter, thanks a ton for showing reality
Nice try but please next time don't pour water into the beans or seeds when pounding but rather pound the kernel into powder using blender or even coffee grinder then mix the powder in boiling hot water until oil comes to the surface
I Rachael. Ok. I will try that but I am also going to try ethanol. I currently gathering material for the 3rd and final retrial so we will see how it goes. Thanks for the advice and thanks for watching. Be blessed.
So, you did well trying this method. Can you look at how shea is extracted for more insight? Another thing to note is the oil content in mango. I think that if it's low, we may not be able to get out oils from it. But all the same, I'm clicking on the subscribe button because we gotta get to the bottom of this. Kudos girl...
Hi Simply Organic Oil... yes, I could do that. I also did the retrial and I think that water is not the best thing to extract the oil. Indeed we need to get to the root of tue matter 😁. Thanks for the sub. Welcome and thanks for watching. Be blessed😊
Corkscrew method is how they crush it and then the fluid drains out...after instead of boiling the fluid and destroying all the nutrients and vitamins let it stay a shaded ( sunlight also destros nutrients) but ventilated area or put a fan on it to blow away moisture ..it will take a few day but it will be a nutrient dense product
I’ve been waiting for this for a year. I have been trying the same experiment. Couple of questions, what did you do with the final product? Did you try slowly boiling the last strain down till the water was gone? The oil and the butter are two different forms of the end product. Doing the soxhlet method (the alcohol as a solvent) will give the oil not the butter. Some suggestions: 1. separating some out for testing purposes either 3 or 4 until you get the desired results 2. measure either 1:1 or 2:1 of water and seed paste 3. You could also try a pressure cooker to the solution. Found some other research on how India does their extraction of the butter and oil. (Which are two different results) Good luck and keep up the growth.
Hi Caroline, yes, it looked so promising and I was almost sure I was going to get some results😊. Ai sah, but, yea, I was disappointed. I have a final trial left though. Thanks for watching. Be blessed.
@@iamhephzibahTV happy to see you online. Now my suggestion is that you try using a food processor instead of a traditional mortar so as to have a fine paste. I don't think boiling it will get you the butter. I roasted them once before grinding and the result was grainy. The mixture in your mortar looked promising.
Fascinating! I think most seed based oils turn out similar to this. They kinda look like wheel grease (and some used to be used as such) I don't really know the process but I heard they are often bleached or hydrogenated to become a more solid form. Did you get any other results after this?
Hi Jessica, it was another failed attempt but thanks for your enthusiasm. No, the mixture just remained that way. I have one last trial this year mango season where I will be trying ethanol. So we will see how that experiment goes. Thanks for your input. Be blessed
Hi Edward, no, I have not retried yet. A viewer reached out to me and told me how it is done but I really have not had the chance to try that method. I am hoping to in the near future though. Blessings

What did you did with the mass you rinse with the cloth? I think that was actually the butter

What is the difference between this butter and the one that is made with the mango itself without the core
