Additional tips for new inversion table users:
1. Don't use immediately after eating or drinking, especially if going more heals over head.
2. The height gauge is largely suggestive. If you are torso heavy, start 3" longer. (If you start to short, you may have dificulty coming back to the upright position) You should be able to invert by slowly raising your hands and extending them out SLOWLY over your head, and return to upright by lowering your arms parallel to torso. When you can do this, you have the balance set correctly for your body type. [Example: I'm 6'3", long legs, short (light) torso. My balance point is 6'0"]
3. If a first time user, you should have someone present to assist.
I'm not a Dr., only a frequent user. Hope this helps! Stretch well and relax!
Can this still work even if I also have an anterior pelvic tilt (APT)? It seems like my spondylolisthesis L4-L5 gets aggravated even more because of APT
These inversion tables are worth their weight in gold,I had a bad lower back went to the chiropractor for years and never fix my back , bought an inversion table and fix my back within a month or so,and if I fill it acting up I get right back on for maintenance ,highly recommend
I've just brought 1 I'm hoping it helps my back , I've had a bad back for years and have spent heaps of $ with no fix.
Hope it helps I'm happy it worked for you.
Much love from Australia ❤️ 🇦🇺
That inversion table saved me from the sciatica hell pain that i had.
I’m in sciatica hell. Have been for years, spent too much on chiropractors. Just bought the Innova 5900 and am going through reviews to see if I made a good choice. It will arrive in two days. Looking forward to being saved too..

Did it really help I’m am sciatica is crippling my right leg
HELPFUL HINT: I talked to my primary care physician about this product. He is in favor of using them and he had a bit of advice. Most people cant handle being inverted for very long because of the blood rushing to the head thing and becoming uncomfortable. His advice is to pull in very deep slow breaths while inverted. This gives your lungs and body plenty of oxygen, which defeats that out of breath feeling.
Hey there, thank you for sharing your experience! We love to hear alternatives that may help! Especially with this because it can definitely get a little uncomfortable.
Fasting for a period of time cleans the body inside out and makes inversion way more easy without the head blood pressure
i use one for 3 minutes at 90 degrees once a day and after a month you will start to feel health into your back so they do work.
I've used in virgin now for almost 5 years and it didn't take long for me to fill the effects it is awesome and wonderful no migraines no sciatic pain no hip joint pain with my congenital hip
I left my inverted table, but the first time I used it I was alone and I went completely upside down like you are and my abdomen was not strong enough to get back up. I freaked out so ever since then I used the belt that they have to stop it from going back all the way. I’m too scared to try the full tilt way.
I have been using mine for 8 weeks, 4-8 min daily. Very helpful in my treatment from a compression injury at work. Great review by the way, I learned a lot from it.
WARNING! Before using any kind of inversion device, check with your ophthalmologist to be certain you don’t have any level of glaucoma. Inversion devices raise interocular pressure, which can lead to blindness. Glaucoma patients need to keep their heads above their hearts at all times. That means no downward dog or other yoga poses that have the head below the heart, also. There is now such a thing as “Glaucoma Yoga.” Sleep on a wedge pillow.
Glad to see he mentioned this.
You do a great job explaining things thoroughly. Thank you for helping us!
FANTASTIC video. I found you when checking out reviews for this table. This was informative and well done. Looking forward to more of ya'lls videos!
The table is fantastic I brought 1 because of this video and when I get really bad back pain and have shooting pain down my legs I get on for 3 min and get instant relief best $140 I've spent and delivered to my door.
Thanks for the video.
I wondered how much this would help with my back pain. I have had 3 surgeries on my lower back. A place I used to exercise at had one and I had my back actually pop while using one.
I just received this inversion table in the mail and I absolutely love it. I have a bulging disc in my upper spine and I have really bad sciatica issues. I’m looking forward to healing my back.

Wonderful video Sir! Since discovering your guidance for Sciatica pain, ihave been doing my focused Butt crunches & lower Ab flexing, bridge flexing trying to stabilize my pelvic cradle. Actually purchasing this model tomorrow on your recommendation over the over priced teeeeter table. Looking forward to the massage & heat too... 62yr old in Sciatica pain for two years now with mild L4 L5 deteriorating disks... Willl post a follow up in a few weeks. M.
I always enjoy your videos! I have the same model Innova table. I could never get the massage pad situated to be comfortable. Once I ditched that part, I really found the table to be quite comfortable. Maybe splitting hairs but I think there is a real difference between massage and the simple vibration the Innova pad offers.
Dr. David, I just happened upon your videos. You have given me hope. I was told I am going to need a partial knee replacement, however, after watching your videos, I honestly think I have a meniscus tear. I told my doc that I thought it was a tear but was told they will not do surgery to repair this due
to my age (64). However, I am as active as many 40
year olds. Is there a cut
off age on meniscus repair surgeries? I teach fitness classes and am muscular for my age. Thanks so much and so happy to have found your channel. God bless!

Thank you for the kind words! 😊
Great Video, I have this EXACT inversion table. The message feature turns off at 15mins, which is OK because I don't think it is good to use this for more than 15mins. Also, the MANUAL option directs and focuses the message on one area as opposed to moving up and down your back......... GREAT MACHINE!
Thx Dr I do what you said it fix my sciatica pain been3 years now totally I can walk thx agay
I’ve been using inversion therapy for years and it’s very beneficial that’s for sure!
Nice review. Innova has some better features than my over-priced teeter. It's great to have home equipment to do varied approaches / methods of pt.
Wow! Great video!! I have an Innova inversion table that I bought on Amazon, but it lacks the heat & massage feature. It was fairly easy to assemble, and the directions were great (but very necessary). I have a lab timer that magnetically attaches to a leg. I set the timer for 3 minutes and invert for sets of 3 minutes but only up to 9 minutes. Inversion works for my back issues. 🙃
Get one if you have a bad back ! Changed my life!!!!!
Agree totally! Me too!
I love my Teeter inversion table. Sometimes i wait too late when my back is very tight and im unable to bend and have to do it a few more times before the pain subsides. Ultimately, it works. I have lower back pain that is very uncomfortable.
I bought one. And this teeter is life saver.
I have same table I like it a lot I do five minutes down. Two minute rest five minute down. Two minute rest and five minute down. I don’t go completely upside down but 45° angle slightly. The heat and vibration from the pad seems to help and I’m trying to avoid surgery and so far it’s helpful decreasing back pain.
Hey Biggbear6300, glad your inversion table has been working well for you!! 🙌🏼
Thanks for the info good video.
Hey Joe, Thank you so much! 😃 We appreciate your feedback🙌

I have spondylolisthesis. Can I use this table?
Kind regards
Can It help Degenarate disc, ankoloosing spondylisis deases?
Would you recommend this for L5/S1 stage 2-3 anterolesthesis?
wouldn't hanging the right way up work just as well for decompressing the lower back? hanging from a chin up bar for example, ought to decompress the lower back with the weight of the legs. I still think inversion is useful but maybe uniquely useful for decompressing the neck which you couldn't really do upright unless you can hang onto a bar with your ears. what do you think about it for neck pain relief?
Is there a danger in which being upside down too long? Is it possible to pass out? I am thinking of purchasing one as I tried one and it felt great.
I have that model inversion table. I couldn't use the pad.
I use a heating pad insted and that works great.
I use ,mind every day for 5 minuities.
Have been for 2 years now. No back pain at all now. I'm 66 years old.
That is awesome Tanisi! We are so glad to hear that this device works for you! It can definitely be a useful tool when it is used correctly!
What if you have spondylolisthesis between L4 and L5?
I just ordered this table and is arriving on Monday. I saw the devil this week when I got sciatica nerve pain. I've been laying down for a week now. I hope that this thing helps me get back on my feet again.
will this help the upper back?
I really love my teeter! I can feel a slight movement of my stomach an intestines! Tension in my back is relieved in 2 minutes or less!♥️

Thanks, will there be some similar effect if we hang vertically with our arms to take pressure off the disc?
Yes - but it would be hard on your rotator cuffs.
Anyone know where I can buy just the heating pad feature? I can't find it anywhere
The padded back is horrible, your upper body should be able to slide down......Teeters are the best on the market.
Grazie per questo video.
Volevo chiedere se c'è una correlazione tra panca inversione e mal di testa?
Quanti minuti fare di panca?
Grazie

The problem with hanging from your elbows or arms is that you are applying tension on your back muscles, so it doesn't really have the same effect. I've tried it but doesn't work
I'm 6' but never had real problems with my back, fortunately.
Only time my back hurts temporarily is when I pull weeds from my yard.
Always was curious about these inversion tables.
Knowing you are taller than me & comfortable with this table, good to know.
Very comprehensive, fair assessment of this table. Appreciate it.

IM 70 YEARS OLD HAD AMINI STROCKE CAN STILL USE THE INVERTION TABLE
I just purchased an Innova inversion table (ITM4800) and love it. However, in the package of screws and tools was a silver pin and chain labeled "Safety Pin" but I have no idea where it goes or how to use it. Looking at the machine, I cant even guess. Does your model have this safety pin thing?
Did you find out ? The safety pin placement should be very easy to find
@@xyzzy2178 I agree. I’ve had mine for only two days and I cannot believe the benefits .
@@thomasengel1459 You have the same model? what about that mysterious pin?
Safety pin is to prevent it from closing up...its on the right side right under the gage for inclination

I have severe spinal canal stnosis and arthropy in the facets. If My PT clears me to use my inversion table my big problem will be pain in my ankles due a double fused right ankel. I`ve tried extra padding but am still looking for a better solution.
Hey Greg, that sounds pretty rough! hard to work around the ankle for sure!
Is it helping your canal stenosid? I have same issue as well as bulging discs
I have this one but never got the heating pad😢
Can you compare the table you demonstrated to the teeter x2? Which one is better?
Hey There, sorry but we are not familiar with the teeter x2. We would have to have the product with us in order to compare the items. We can vouch that this inversion table is of good quality.
✌️I have had an inversion machinc for over ten+years👍🏻
Hope you have enjoyed your inversion table Michael! We sure enjoy ours!
Would it help for bone on bone knee pain also?
Hi Jeff, an inversion table isn't great for anyone who is suffering from ankle, knee or hip joint issues. However, if you aren't feeling any pain you can try it out but we want to strongly advise not hang upside down. You can can try a small angle and gradually increase if you feel safe. We would highly recommend you speak to your healthcare professional for guidance before moving forward with it. 🙌
@@epmanualphysicaltherapy Ok thanks. Really appreciate your channel, and all your exercise recommendations 👍
Is this safe for knee arthritis?
Hey Dahniar, this device actually feels nice on the knees because it helps to take all of the pressure off of them. On a side note, the inversion table is completely in the user's control so if it does hurt they can back it off a little bit to where it does not hurt. Otherwise, it is safe for knee arthritis.
Would love to see exercice for Achille tendinitis please and thank you
Yikes! Let’s see. I have a broken toe that can’t be fixed and bunions. I broke my ankle as a kid. I’ve had 5 knee surgeries and a complete knee replacement and have arthritic fingers. If I got on that thing, my belly fat would swing down and slap me in the head and probably knock me out! 😯 But thank you for sharing! 😊😄
Great sense of humor. I need humor. I toed you I kneed humor
I prefer Teeter. Their brand is the only FDA Approved class 1 medical device. You may also be able to get it covered by your insurance.
As this for this video... Great Review & Information!
Hey Nabiyah, thank you for the information! We appreciate your experience on this subject!
That’s not true. FSA or HSA card can’t be used as a method of payment to checkout. It indicated not approved to purchase. Just bought one using a personal cc and delivered 2 days ago. But I will try if FSA will reimburse me.
I ❤️ my Teeter too.
I have the latest inversion table. I hang for 15 - 20 minutes two times a day. It don’t do jack shit to help with my sciatica. I’m gonna try NuroMD to see what that does
But does it work
How is this on your knees?
Hey Gary, this device actually feels nice on the knees because it helps to take all of the pressure off of them. On a side note, the inversion table is completely in the user's control so if it does hurt they can back it off a little bit to where it does not hurt.

Hey Jennifer, we are so sorry to hear the inversion table did not work out well for you :-( SI joint pain tends to be complex, but by fixing the root underlying muscle imbalance, you can improve your symptoms dramatically for the long term. Have the best day!
@@epmanualphysicaltherapy Thank you - appreciate the reply. Yeah, it's complicated...and that's been my approach.
You never said how often to used and how many times a day i watch the video till the end and i was waiting for it😩
Hi Lorena, you can do it as many times as it feels comfortable to do so. It's important to start off gradually and to keep the angle shallow until you get to deeper angles.
If you have any hip, knee, or ankle injuries or if you have high blood pressure you should refrain from using an inversion table. 🧡
It works for me, but u need to be consistent.
Hey Bobo, you are absolutely right! It helps a lot to be consistent with using it.
I find that hanging from a simple bar does it for me...
Sounds like you are selling this brand of inversion table.
I used to love watching his youtube videos because of his impartiality.

Haha he has no idea what he is doing I'm 80 and been using one for 5 years no it's not the full answer. But you can get lots of strength benefits from it
I go. Between full upside down inversion to about 130 degrees inversion
Does it help. Absolutely I am very happy I bought one. Mine is a Teeter brand. Brilliant and lots of videos from them how to use them 👍👍👍😉😉
You spent almost the whole video selling that particular table and really didn't answer the question in the title😡😡😡
Personally it did nothing for me. I tried and tried and tried. I gave the table away. I believe that it might help some. It did not help me.
Hi Edwin, Thank you for sharing your experience with the inversion table! You are absolutely correct! This machine isn't for everyone but it is very helpful to many. Many of us need to experience different techniques to find what works for us. We are so sorry to hear that this didn't work for you but we hope you have been able to find something that was able to offer you some relief. Your feedback means a lot to us!
Good device to wreck your ankle joints.
Hi Moon, we understand what you're saying. An inversion table isn't recommended for anyone who has ankle, knee, or hip issues and for anyone who has high blood pressure.
Might help some people but surely didn't help me. Felt like head was gonna pop plus no pain relief
Hey Edwin, you are absolutely right! It is not for everybody. A key component to finding relief with this table is to be able to relax some of the more active muscles in your back. We are sorry to hear you had a not-so-great experience with these.
That’s a trash inversion table - get a Teeter.
