    Benoit changed almost as much as Eddie. You can see that Eddie had a decent physique even in the early days. As for Scotty Steiner, he was a unit even from the very early pro wrestling days. He once said in an interview that outside of his most massive days in WCW around 1997-98, he was actually bigger and stronger generally in his tag team days but he also had more fat on him

    • @howstrongis
      @howstrongis  4 місяці тому +1

      100% correct, and both Eddie and Benoit being good friends, explains a lot. Both steiners already were huge in their early wcw days as you said. Think the strength he kept but the style he was wrestling wasnt really conserving his health in the long run.

      @@user-no6wd4rz4z bro… dianabol is a notoriously WET compound & is almost exclusively used for bulking/getting bigger, you put 10 lbs of water the first week you start taking it… also testosterone to keep your testicles working? 😂😂😂 bro ANY steroid shuts down your endocrine system & testicles almost completely, when you take testosterone for a few weeks your body stops making it & your balls shrink & stop working.. WHY comment if you have no clue what you are talking about this is one of the stupidest comments i have ever seen lmaoooooo

    The greatest transformation to me was Ted Dibiase, he was just a meek grappler back in 79, when he came back to the WWF in 87, he was blonde, bearded and brash with a commanding voice. He looked like a king

    When we see before and after pictures most guys will say "If you eat right and train hard you can go from A to B" whereas people who actually workout will tell you that's actually what they were doing in abundance to get to picture A 🤣 I bet most guys were already gassing before. They just found a new juice cocktail that gives you much better results. Bagwell was on Conrad Thompsons podcast and he said when Scott Steiner got absolutely shredded for his Big Poppa Pump character all the boys were already on gear and kind of maxed out physique wise. They just wanted to know what cocktail of drugs he'd switched on to to level up again and his response was "I figured it out, you go figure it out!" 🤣

    • @howstrongis
      @howstrongis  3 місяці тому

      Yeah, fully agree. As someone who is working out, eating healthy and working as strength and conditioning coach mainly with pro wrestlers together, I can tell you that Bagwell is 100% right. Good genetics are another piece of the puzzle, and they still need to train. The rather surprising part for me was all the guys here in Japan who are on something, and don’t even look that way.

      True. Made in the past a video about both Steiners training routine. Think especially Rick looked pretty much like this since his teens, while Scott was a lot slimmer. Once he switches from amateur to pro wrestling , he definitely beefed up.

    Edge cannot seem to put on any muscle mass no matter how much or hard he trains. He got into shape, the muscle tone was improved, but it's like his frame simply doesn't support added muscle. His arms, delts, chest, they remain pretty skinny and small. Big Show, on the other hand, looks fat even when he has visible abs.

      Yeah, Edge is one of the guys, for the better or worse didn’t change much.
      Saw him only once at a live show in 2006, was actually surprised how tall he was. The biggest guys by far on the show were Chris Masters, Lashley and Umaga. And one guy who should have became the next Lesnar, but quite soon after, became a politician and is now accused of some crime I found out (Dan Rodimer)
