- Hey, ya'll! Today's video is YIN YOGA FOR LOWER BACK & HIPS. Not that long ago, I did a Morning Yin Yoga practice & someone left a comment asking for Yin Yoga for Hips (if that was you, thank you!), so I incorporated hip stretches into this video. In Yin Yoga practices, you hold poses a little longer than regular practices. So, during this practice we are hold the postures anywhere from 1-3 minutes. Yin Yoga tends to be pretty relaxing for this reason. For Savasana, I leave a few minutes of silence for those who want to relax for a few minutes. I hope you enjoy this practice. Love Yin Yoga...hope to see more of these practices in the future. This really helped my lower back feel less tight. Loved the relaxing minutes of music at the end for Savasana. A suggestion for another Yin practice: upper back and shoulders.

i tend to lean more towards rigorous yoga and always pick the most challenging versions of the poses, but today i felt called to do some yin cause i’ve been sick. i even used blocks for the first time. it was absolutely amazing. feels like my body finally got a break. thank you nico. will be doing yin yoga more - and i can’t wait to see more of the chakra yin flows !
