Hi guys! I accidentally deleted a comment and can't get it back D: It was by someone with a lovely pinkish avatar, and the first part was about how I first discovered the system + a few questions I can't remember. If you'd like you can reply here or write another and aa sorry!

as a fellow OSDD-1b system we're curious how y'all experience the shared memory (can't remember if y'all have talked about this in a video). for us p much everyone knows everything, unless they've been dormant for a while, but we also sometimes experience little memory blips between switches. like we'll switch while driving and whoever switches in will forget we need to go to the grocery until *much* later.

Congrats on reaching 1, 000 subscribers, so proud of you, you deserve it! :) questions: What's your cats name, and how did you get your cat? How did you come up with the name of your channel? How does your system adapt to being in a new environment like a home instead of school, or one home versus another home? What's your favorite season?

First of all congratulations on 1k subscribers!
    We have a number of questions mostly about your alters;
    1. Do you have any littles? ( Yes/no will suffice)
    2. Are any/all your alters archetypal such as Host, Protector, Persecutor etc...
    3. Would you be willing to share a rundown of all your alters (active and dormant) and what each does for the system?
As a system ourselves, we understand the need to feel and be safe, so please only share what you all feel comfortable with sharing.

    Question:
Do you think you could do a video about all of your alters?
    Ex:
Names, ages, genders, and what they look like.
    P.s.
I hope this comment doesn't seem creepy. I just know that it would help us get to know your system a little better.
    Thank you,

Congrats guys! It's so exciting to see your channel grow :3 I would really love to know about your journey of self discovery, how you all became aware you are in fact a system. I also had a question about memory: can you have shared memory but also some amnesic moments? For example, can you have shared memory with one alter, but also have amnesia barriers for certain events that alter has experienced? Or even shared memory with some alters and amnesia between others? ~ Maddy

That's so exciting, congrats on your first 1K! I'm sure it'll grow even more over time 🖤
I wanted to ask yall, what's your experience like with co-consciousness? Do you ever feel like 2 or more alters are 'driving' the body at the same time?
Also, I wanted to ask what is your internal communication like? How do you talk to the other alters in the headspace? Does everyone hear the message, or can you talk privately with just one other alter at a time?

    • @TheRingsSystem

Internal communication will have it's own video eventually! But I'll mark down the rest 🖤

Can any of you take pain or memories from another personality so that they don't feel or remember it anymore?
Also, I've heard that in most OSDD-1b systems the host is trauma-free and all other parts are trauma holders. This isn't true for my system, is it for yours?

Helloooo happy 1, 000 subs!! I have a question. At what age does one realize that you have alters or that you are one?(in average ) we are curious since our first encounter was when the body was 9, but we just thought it was our imagination or something by the way. (sorry 4 the bad English )

I was recently diagnosed with a 'non specified associative disorder' so I know its OSDD but I don't know if it's 1a or 1b. Anyway, how does it feel when y'all switch between alters? For me I've had a feeling like I was physically my little Mary-Berry but I was still in control of the body and my mind wasn't 'little' I guess? I don't know if this was co-consciousness or what but I would love if y'all could explain the feeling of switching. Thanks ~ Plastic Dinosaurs System

    Hi! We are DID system.
Yesterday we almost had a very critical episode thanks to one the presecutors, Luciana. (She can be a real b****)
Not going to go on details but it was serious.
She is BPD and holds most of the trauma memories.
My question is: Do you guys have to deal with different disorders apart from this OSDD and also deal with these kind of bad episodes?
If the question is too private or triggering you can skip but I'm curious.

Hi, guys. This is a bit... weird but I didn't know about disorders that were similiar to DID but without being DID until now and I wanted to know if maybe you could like... help me somehow with this subject. I've been diagnosed with some disorders but my psyquiatrists never agree, some even thought I had epilepsy (I'm diagnosed with it right now although all the tests show nothing wrong with my brain activity). I'm being studied for Dissociative disorder not otherwise specified for a time now but I don't really get what that means and my actual psyquiatrist says that we have to wait to clear things up. I've had some symptoms like internal voices (they have been gone for a year now) and sometimes I've felt like I have no control over my body/mind although I'm not unconscious. Other times I've been actually unconscious (I'm just guessing that because I have no memories of it... like blackouts) but they're not that often. Also hallucinations, dissociations, fake memories, depression and mania episodes. But still... If I had alters it would be more obvious, wouldn't it? Like, maybe someone around me would have noticed already?
Excuse me for sharing too much, I just feel like and outsider and I would like to know my brain better. Have a nice day.♡

It's very hard for me to answer "Help me figure out x thing" questions so I'll answer here!
Obviously I'm not a therapist and even if I was this is the internet! So I can't tell you anything but some information that might help you on your path.
      1. DDNOS (dissociative disorder not otherwise specified) is the old name for OSDD. OSDD and DDNOS have 4 subcategories, and -1a and -1b have alters
      2. No one has ever noticed alters and mentioned things to us about them without us explicitly coming out. DID/OSDD has a tendency to be VERY covert... also people aren't ever really looking for that sort of thing
Good luck on your journey! 🖤

This is kind of a weird question. Internally, I often feel like the alter that's fronting isn't "me." Like someone else is taking control. But then, what is the "me" making that claim? Do OSDD-1b systems have multiple "me"s that all feel like "me" when they front (or at least, are supposed to), or is there supposed to be just one "me?" Or is it different for everyone? I don't know if this makes any sense but I really appreciate any insight you can give me! Oh and congrats on 1,000 subs!!!

    • @TheRingsSystem
      @TheRingsSystem  5 років тому

      Thanks!
I think I might answer here in the comments for this one because I'm not sure if I understand your question?
When someone else fronts, the alter that's fronting doesn't feel like 'me' in the sense that I know it's not me, because I can't control anything that's happening and the speech patterns/body posturing/everything is not what I'd do. Whoever is controlling the body is not 'me.'
OSDD-1a systems have less differentiated identity, but have inter-identity amnesia? Possibly looking into these two differences could help you find things out.
Let me know if there's anything that you'd like clarified or expanded on!
      💜

The Rings System Oh wow! I completely forgot about the nuances within the OSDD-1 diagnosis category. All of this is so confusing because I haven't found a specialist yet. But it looks like I will definitely need to, this is way over my head. Still, your comment really helps a lot. :) One thing I don't get, though, is who is your "me?" Is it the host, Silver?

I’m 16. I think I have OSDD/DID but I’m not sure, and I (obviously) don’t have system communication if I do. All of my life feelings align perfectly with DID videos I’ve watched. How do I know if this is all in my head or if it is real? I won’t have access to a psychologist for another 2 years, but the worst part is the doubt, the not knowing. Sorry to bother you; I just noticed you posted this recently and wanted to hear from someone with this experience firsthand.

      Marked down for Q+A! 💜
In the short term, my quick advice is
      1. Do your best to not worry about it! Which is easier said than done :( I'll cover this a bit more later!
      2. Whatever you do, DON'T try to uncover or process trauma without a therapist. It can be dangerous!
      Stay safe 💜

The Rings System 🙏 Thank you so much. I’m definitely won’t try uncovering anything. I’m so glad that many systems I talk to online (including you) are so willing to give advice and help; I don’t know what I’d do without it.

I have a Question for you..
This is to all of the Alters, because this concerns an Alter (in another system).
Well, have you or any of the other alters (that you are aware of) ever come out and introduced yourself to someone. Then, months to over a year later (that same Alter) come out again and introduce themselves to the same person?
Because, this has happened to me. When, I acted as if I knew who they were.. The Alter claimed we never met.
(The thing is, I have breifly met him I believe it was atleast twice before. And, suposivally the system doesn't get amnesia. From what I was lead to believe.)
I was wondering if you or any of the other Alters in your system. Have experianced anything like this.. ..or maybe know another System who has..
Thank You for taking the time to read my question.
I love your videos and highly appreciate the work you do.
    Thank You! :)

    • @TheRingsSystem
      @TheRingsSystem  5 років тому

Answering here instead of in video bc I have links:
If your area has any sort of therapist searching website (East coast has zencare) that could help, or searching for dissociative specialists here: (searched in NY randomly haha) www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists/dissociative-disorders/ny/new-york
DID Specialists are the best, then people specializing in dissociation, then people specializing in trauma!
It honestly just takes time and patience.
Best of luck on your journey! 💜

How often do you all switch as compared to a DID system or other OSDD systems? For me and my system, one alter can stay at the front for a very long time, usually all day for most, though they get exhausted at the end, and it doesn't feel very good for the system as a whole, and a few particular can stay out for days or weeks at a time, and I don't know if this is normal or healthy for a system. I myself, our current host and the emotional protector often seem to get stuck up front which is exhausting and increases depression and anxiety (I don't know if I get stuck because of current environment, or traumatic situations, or a block inside). I think that it might be being out so long that factors into that, since we are a team and we all need each other to function in a healthy way. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences though.
