These guys are awesome. The best tip I ever got was to not round my back. My sciatica would flare up when my back was rounded. Many thanks to these guys.
I’m surprised you didn’t demonstrate the modification for those who can’t/aren’t ready for full planks. But good info for the young and those who are strong!
Thank you very much! I am also a physiotherapist and I did not know the plank exercise for the shoulder blade in THIS position! If it was still too exhausting I could do it with the knees on the floor! Good work guys!!! 👍👍😘
Love it ! Can't do it !! You have very good advice 👍 R.A. , ARTHRITIS IN MY SPINE , AND OSTEOPOROSIS So I've been trying to do excersizes that are easy on my joints any suggestions for the core muscles. My wrist are not good, already had a bad infection in joints,.ugh 4 days ☹️ in hospital . And I have 3 screws keeping my ankle in place (car accident) . Hips do not move right, one seems higher than the other one , no doctor seems to know why my hip doesn't stay in place 🤔 my son watched me walking ,comes over and grabs my hip area from behind does something with his hands tells me to walk than says you have hip dysplasia leaves comes with belt wraps up my hips and BINGO I can walk normal and very little pain 😉 Why is it my son who is a mechanic figured out what was wrong and the doctors are still scratching their DANG chin !!! Hmm 😒 makes me question Dr's even more now 🤔
If you haven't tried it yet, give Tai Chi a shot. Takes a while to learn but easy on the joints(although not sure about RA, that's a different animal) and the benefits are real.
@@joseenoel8093 Guarantee i look better than you, broseph. Could plank longer than you as well as run faster and beat you 1 on 1 in basketball too. Try me, bro. Name the place and time when you want to get absolutely embarrassed by someone who was born when Rutherford B. Hayes was in the White House.
I'm ready to start going from total couch potato to reasonably fit. These exercises look like something I can squeeze in anywhere. I love alternatives to the normal plank, as doing plank for minutes each day left me feeling like it caused a shoulder impingement after a couple days.
lock your hands together and triangle forearm to elbow while half planking or even on your knees as long as your upper shoulders are in the same position as his are you'll feel the same result, start small then work your way up to the "full" half plank. with wrist/hand issues work on the forearms with the shoulders. take your hands out of the equation. hope this helps

Good exercise options but I think they may be missing the point in planks. Like other Yoga asanas it’s primarily about meditation and introspection while improving the physical condition by doing them - mind and body oneness etc… But of course - AMERICANS!!
Bob has been diagnosed with Ataxia. It affects his balance and his speech, but does not affect his thinking. We appreciate your understanding and support!

This looks like a serious workout! Gonna try it. Thank you Bob & Brad!

You can do it on your elbows hope that works. Half plank I think it's called
