  • Make SOLID LOTION BARS! Non-Greasy Recipe! ONLY 3 Ingredients!!! Learn how to make a lotion bar; it’s a solid moisturizer that softens skin without leaving it greasy or oily.
RECIPE: 3 ounces butter (your choice), 3 ounces beeswax, & 3 ounces liquid oil (your choice). Put your heat setting on low & add these ingredients into a heat-safe container. Slowly melt them together. I used shea & cocoa butter + 3 different types of oil for the 3 ounces, but one oil is fine! Like sweet almond or coconut. I added the vitamin E after I took the mix off of the heat (I wasn’t sure if it'd mess with the Vitamin E), however, this is not necessary & the vitamin E will be completely fine if you heat it with the other ingredients! Once everything is almost melted, remove it from heat & cool mix. To speed up cooling, pour mix back & fourth. Mix should be cooled to about 145 degrees to add fragrance oil (3 milliliters fragrance oil). Grab a soap mold & fill each cavity. Allow the bars to harden completely. I left them on the table overnight, but you can put them in the fridge, freezer, etc. As they cool & harden the bars contract & get a bit smaller. To use the lotion bar, rub it on your skin where ever you want extra moisturization & then rub it in! NOTE: This is a very small batch (I didn't want to make a lot because I'd never made it before). To make more just double or triple the recipe.
PACKAGING: Shrink wrap the lotion bars on low heat.

I suffer in pain everyday , this filled 10 sticks and half a jar of 125 mils canning jar. Ty for the guidance , I did try it before it set (from the jar) and it helped my lower back pain.

I just made these and I used peony infused olive oil. They are just a bit greasy, but my family has pretty dry skin, so no big deal. They smell amazing. I have to find all natural scents because I can't tolerate most fragrances or chemicals. I recently began making soaps and wanted to make a peony scented soap but didn't think the smell would survive saponification. This lotion bar is awesome. Thank You!!
