I lost 30 pounds and it's totally transformed my life! Just because you don't have tons of weight to lose doesn't mean it's not transformational. My pre-diabetes is gone, cholesterol normal, blood pressure down. Small losses can make a big difference :) Ohhh and I'm 62 years young.
Good for you ...this is motivational ...yesterday i decided to take control of what to eat and i plan on losing 50 pounds in 5 months and then keep going from there until i reach my goal weight of 150. Thanks for posting!
I lost 118 lbs in 10 months (300lbs to 182lbs, and I'm 6'1). For the first time in my life I'm not the fat guy. It is absolutely true that if you lose so much weight, it's life changing. I'm so much more confident and happy with myself. Even though I feel like a fatboy, I know I'm not. The human body is amazing and perseverance and consistency in both diet and exercise is key to both the physical and mental aspect of the whole transformation. Just don't give up! Have a dream and set small goals to achieve that dream and you'll make it :)
@my Email @Stephen Williamson Well every body works differently so what worked for me may not work for you, but for food I stopped drinking calories. I replaced all my drinks with water, tea without sugar and milk and coffee without sugar and milk. I tried to stay at 1800-2000 calories a day and started counting my intake (buying a foodscale is a gamechanger). I also tried to replace most kinds of food with the more healthier options like whole grain food and more vegtables and less meat and make sure the meat i take are clean cuts (no fat, skinless and boneless). The trick is to always have a calloric defecit (use more calories than that you take) As for exercise, I went to the gym 2 times a week and once I got comfortable with the gym, i went 4 to 5 times a week focussing most on compound weight training (Brix has an amazing video about this where he shows you the best compound exercises). I started hiking everyday and try to reach atleast 10.000 steps and I did a hiit training 2x a week. (Brix also has a nice video on where he explains what hiit is and how to do it) I did all of this consistent and never backed down for the full 10 months. There is no real secret but understand that its a lifestyle change. You mainly need the right mindset. Most things I did came from Brix's channel so I would really reccomend checking his vids out.
So here’s what’s crazy about this video! I went to High School with Jeremiah and he spoke some mad facts. I don’t think anyone seen him as fat Jeremiah. He was still active and still was an awesome dude. But it just goes to show you how we view ourselves, how our loved ones view is, and how our friends view us. Spoke on a lot of truths, I feel like a lot of people can relate to stupid moments we fell in a weight loss craze but some only know the desperation of your best self. Not using a sleep apnea machine at the age of 27 or having seat limitations/accommodations. It’s just a lot, when what you want is not within arms reach or even a known option. I followed your channel before brix but my friend Jeremiah just gave me that missing piece we all need. Some times we just need to see and know with our own eyes and hear with our own ears. I really needed this video today! ❤️💯☺️
I got the notification for this video at the perfect moment. I lost 35 pounds in the past 6 months but I've been slacking lately. It got me back in the frame of mind to work out tonight and be more consistent.
I weighed 355 pounds I did not like going to the gym cause i worried about people looking at me but at one point u got to learn to focus on yourself & not care about other people opinion because your health means more then a persons opinion 💯
Same situation here, my ex cheated on me too, broke me, still has me broken, but I’m 6’2” and went from 297 right now at 252. One month in and not stopping here. Part of my healing it still hurts everyday to have lost her but trying to turn a negative into a positive.
You didn't lose her, she lost you (since she's the one who cheated). Keep your head up high. Believe in yourself. Continued success on your transformational journey.
Flat out! This is the most honest and important video you've put out Brix! As someone who was 275lbs back in 2014 and down to 187lbs by 2017 and now back at 225lbs, the struggle is REAL! And staying in the fight is even harder when you accomplish your goal. My new goal for 2019 is 180lbs! I'm hoping to be there by May of 2019. Hope is the key word with hardcore grinding! I'm getting frustrated as the scale hasn't dropped in a month, but I'm trying to stay strong.
Jeremiah's story sounds just like mine. Gained weight, lost the girl, divorce, wanting to prove to myself and others I can do this. Yeah, wanting people from my past to be jealous but also im jealous of those who have achieved that goal. I want to lose that. I want to lose my 50 lbs in 6 months. I want a healthy life. Im 5'8" and was 235 at max. Currently I'm 195 on a good week with no fast food intake but my body still hurts and begs for fitness. These stories are so inspirational. I'm going to do this!
Hats off to both off you. I’m “5-8 218. I started on October 1, 2018 at 230. I’ve lost 12 lbs so far. It’s been 3 weeks starting my fourth today October 22, 2018. My goal is to get to 180, then put on 15 to 20 lbs of lean muscle. I haven’t been under 200 lbs in 15 years. Forgot how I look underneath all of this fat. I’m not giving up. I definitely struggle with binging but trying to fight it everyday. At 39, almost 40 it’s harder then when your in your 20’s. Metabolism slowed down a lot and my dedication fades all the time. It GOD is in my corner and I won’t give up. Me and my girlfriend are doing it together.
I’m 36, 6’0, and 352 lbs...I’m ready to start this journey and get to my goal of 220...I’ve tried so many things but I keep messing up on my diet. It’s been so depressing ugh.

Down 120 in just 6 months on keto fasting and exercising. 270lbs to 150lbs!!! True dedication is what it takes and that's amazing what he did and what you did. I watch your channel for inspiration all the time! 0 cheat days nothing's stopping me now!
He is right. You are definitely an inspiration. I started my journey to wellness with healthy eating mid January, and now I am down 65lbs. Even as a woman, my journey is a little different, but your realness throughout the struggle still kept me inspired.
Remember your initial goals for losing weight. Feel and look healthier? Sleep improved? Look at the positives and maintain your lifestyle change. Keep it simple and enjoy yourself. Stress is no good bro...jus chill
I lost 90 pounds in 5 month, feeling amazing, high blood pressure gone, prediabeties gone, no more problems with my knees and ankles, I buy clothes wherever I want, and participating in sports, I'm 6' 7" Day 0 396lb - Day 150 306lb, still 26lb left to loose. I'll hopefully give it 2 more month to reach my weight goal.
That struck a chord with me. It might seem simple, but after 18+ years of trying to lose weight, it actually only took him 6-8 months. Chris Pratt has even said, "Six months looks like a long time when you are looking ahead, but what were you doing 6 months ago?" I'm paraphrasing here, but I understand it now. The hardest part for me is getting started. Here I am telling everyone that 6 months from now, I'm going to be in a better state of mind and living in a healthier body. Keep me accountable! July 21st, what am I going to look like?
Love this vlog! It's on time! This message is about change,Eye opener👁, Valuable info, and"the brother said " We are just people and it is possible with faith" yes indeed.
Probably 3 years late but these videos are very good. Its good to see two brothers sit down an reason about trials an tribulations an share ya’ll story. 🖤
Been following for almost 3 years and I absolutely loved this video. I love hearing the struggles because my husband is struggling with the same thing. Except he is 31 and wheelchair bound. He is lacking the faith part of knowing he will get there and I struggle trying to encourage him. This video was a blessing. Thank you Brix. This is content I love seeing if y’all can do it we can!
Jeremiah Thanks for sharing your story my brotha!!...This was absolutly one of the most compelling & motivating weight loss journey videos I have ever watched since Brix's story!!!..Brix you asked some great insightful questions. I gained a lot of insight on how I can personally deal with my own self-defeating behavior .....I wish you both much success & Thanks again for posting this interview!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! Inspiring, come through young king. So proud of you. Thanks Brix for bringing him on and sharif that amazing story. Oh and I’m from Milwaukee, Wi as well.
I like that your sitting down with every day people and your sharing their stories of the struggles. I understand the daily struggle and seeing myself as the "Fat Tia". This is great I'm looking forward to more interviews to come.
Both of y'all are a major inspiration. It would cool to be a part of the 1000 transformations for next year. Gotta keep working tho. Thank you Brix for your content. Keep up the good work big homie
Love it! Faith, perspective, and grind. I yoyo so much with my weight and when I dont see the numbers moving, stressed, not motivated, I eat. I hate it. Now it's time to do something about it. My nutrition has to stay consistent with my workouts! I can't eat crap and expect to see a change. I need to eliminate some of the people in my environment and find people that strengthen and encourage me to push myself further! Congrats to you, sir!!
Brixx, thank you bro. You're channel is the reason for my life change. When I started watching your channel I was @ 320 lbs. During that time I was on my own weight loss journey. My highest was 361.6, now I'm at 258.6 lbs. I watch your channel consistently and have maintained my journey consistently as well. I just wanna say thank you bro, you've helped me
Very inspirational. I'm at 255 today and trying to get down to 185 within the next year. I believe I can do it. The weekend has been killing me lately. Mental fortitude is so important. Jeremiah low key sounds like Kendrick Lamar. lol
This guy had the somewhat of the same motivation that I had for starting my weightloss journey but that motivation changed over time. I didn't even take my ex-wife back when she wanted me because I transformed not only my body but my mind. My mentality was far ahead of her pettiness and drama, I'm still on a path of bigger and better things. No matter what the motivation is, it's important to go ahead and get to it, those motivations will probably change as the journey continues depending on how big you were to begin with (I was 380+)
Great video. Jeremiah did a great job sharing his testimony and Mr. Brix Fitness did an awesome job interviewing him. A great ebb and flow interview with both passing the mic in a seamless way. Thanks for sharing.
This was so inspiring for me. I grew up like you, not realizing I was obese but still was embarrassed to have my shirt off. My highest weight and lowest self esteem came after highschool around 2012-2015. I was 270ibs at 5'7. My girl cheated on me, I failed to reconnect with my dead beat father, my mother had multiple strokes, my friends seemed shady, and my best friend was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I was so distraught , depressed and honestly suicidal. I abused drugs and food regularly. I eventually started to workout everyday and became a vegetarian. I managed to last for 2 1/2 years. I eventually got down to 180IBs. It was going great but it's just like you both said. My mental development lagged far behind my body. The doubt and my environment ended up catching up to me. This year I lost my first home after moving out with friends and actually had to reavaluate who and what I considered a friend. Even who and what I considered to be Me. My current weight is 260ibs. I spent the last few months struggling but working on myself. It didn't work till I isolated myself and really kept it 💯 I can proudly say that I'm back on my shit!!! I'm back in the gym. I'm fixing my credit and wallet. I'm connecting with my family and with my self. As well as my mother being healthy and us taking this journey together. Just like you, my original fuel and motivation came from a hurt and angry place. I wanted to glow up and spite everyone that looked down on me, played me, flipped my titties lol, and humiliated me. That energy only caused more pain after losing it. I can proudly say I LOVE MYSELF and I am more motivated than I have ever been. I'm going to turn this passion into progress. I wrote this for anyone who's struggling to get back on track or even just to get started. Just know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. You can do anything. This video came suggested to me at a perfect time and I hope my messege hits someone at a crucial time as well. Peace and love fam. 💪🏾UP UP
Yes, I love this! You have a phenomenal skill of interviewing people Brix! Bing Eating is not discussed enough in society! Binge Eating is a massive problem! Food is a drug for a lot of people, we need to educate people on the perils of abusing food! Binge Eating is nothing to be ashamed of, I suffered from this myself! It is a problem because we are not acknowledging/discussing it!
It is really sad, but a lot of life is a competition.. even for your spouse. I have seen that happen so many times. One partner gains weight and the other one starts looking around. Take care of yourself and find a good partner. 💯
Thank you for this fellas. The things you two discussed and the honesty are what is missing from most fitness plans/transformations. Congrats to both of you and keep inspiring others!
This video really blessed me. I was 325lbs several years ago..sleep apnea, cholesterol issues, ED issues...ugh. I'm down to 255lbs but have a ways to go. Never thought of weight loss as personal development...faith, perspective and grind. Love that. Thank you both!
I lost 70 lbs in 3.5 months based off anger. Crazy thing is after i started seeing results from working out, i started just leaving all the stress, depression, and anger all in the gym when i worked out. Working out became my therapy.
Loving this series. Transformations are important. I want to be 990 video! Putting it out there from now. I love all your interview questions. Especially about binge eating. I wish there was a magical cure or pill you could take and it just go away. it is a serious topic! Keep up the great content

love this interview!!! beautiful spirit you guys have : )
So proud of your guys and those in the comments. Great chat and so relatable to me. Congrats everyone on our successes and those to come
Been following for almost 3 years and I absolutely loved this video.
Brix!!!! Thank y'all soooo much! I'm back at it! I fell in the rain Saturday but I will be doing something at 5 an
I like that your sitting down with every day people and your sharing their stories of the struggles.
This was a very powerful interview! Congratulations to this guy! He has a lot to be proud of.
I just wanna say thank you bro, you've helped me
Absolutely loved this video! Congrats, my brother! There is a reason why you guys were able to connect. Keep on inspiring.
Very inspirational. I'm at 255 today and trying to get down to 185 within the next year. I believe I can do it. The weekend has been killing me lately. Mental fortitude is so important. Jeremiah low key sounds like Kendrick Lamar. lol
Great sit down interview Brix. Enjoyed it.
Been here since 15k now my guy at 357k ...hard work in all ways not just weight lost.
yeah I remember that too. I was suoper excited when I found out he live in like my hometown. I always felt there was no one there in Hampton Roads lol
Can you believe it!! The original early squad
Factz
Facts, same here my g
Congrats on your transformation journey
This guy had the somewhat of the same motivation that I had for starting my weightloss journey but that motivation changed over time. I didn't even take my ex-wife back when she wanted me because I transformed not only my body but my mind. My mentality was far ahead of her pettiness and drama, I'm still on a path of bigger and better things. No matter what the motivation is, it's important to go ahead and get to it, those motivations will probably change as the journey continues depending on how big you were to begin with (I was 380+)
I’m down 50 in 4 months bro. U was my inspiration I stumbled on your channel and realized I can do this. Thanks Brix
Great video. Jeremiah did a great job sharing his testimony and Mr. Brix Fitness did an awesome job interviewing him. A great ebb and flow interview with both passing the mic in a seamless way. Thanks for sharing.
Great stuff! Thank y’all both for sharing your story.
Really enjoyed the Straight talk from Jeremiah !! thanks
starting my 6 month regime on sunday and im stoked. Thanks for the inspiring videos
Great interview! An inspirational story that everyone that has struggled with weight issues can relate to.
I love it Brix you should work on more of these 👍🏾
This so inspirational. I’m just at the beginning and it’s so overwhelming. This interview really gave me the little nudge I needed. Thank you guys.
💪🏾UP UP
You and Jeremiah are truly inspirations! Thank you for sharing your stories! I needed to hear all the things you talked about.
This is a really good discussion!
You are so right ..food addicts deal with the mind not the body
This video was amazing.. great to see this dynamic on your channel. Keep it up!
It is really sad, but a lot of life is a competition.. even for your spouse. I have seen that happen so many times. One partner gains weight and the other one starts looking around. Take care of yourself and find a good partner. 💯
I was 287 a couple months ago , I just weighed my self and I was 225 . My Goal Is 180 , I haven’t been under 200 since middle school .
Thank you for this fellas. The things you two discussed and the honesty are what is missing from most fitness plans/transformations. Congrats to both of you and keep inspiring others!
Great interview from beginning to end 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Awesome words of wisdom and encouragement!
10:10 Wow this is powerful. I love the topic of the mental was discussed. Great vid, thanks!!👏
This video really blessed me. I was 325lbs several years ago..sleep apnea, cholesterol issues, ED issues...ugh. I'm down to 255lbs but have a ways to go. Never thought of weight loss as personal development...faith, perspective and grind. Love that. Thank you both!
AWESOMENESS!!!! I really love this interview. Thanks
I lost 70 lbs in 3.5 months based off anger. Crazy thing is after i started seeing results from working out, i started just leaving all the stress, depression, and anger all in the gym when i worked out. Working out became my therapy.
One of the most inspirational weight loss videos ever. Thank you both 🙏💕
Loving this series. Transformations are important. I want to be 990 video! Putting it out there from now. I love all your interview questions. Especially about binge eating. I wish there was a magical cure or pill you could take and it just go away. it is a serious topic! Keep up the great content
Thank you both for speaking your truths. Really helpful and inspiring.
