Hi, I'm a french fitness instructor and personal trainer. I'm here thanks to FromHumanToGod's UA-cam chanel. I can only imagine how painful all this has been for you, I want to thank you for sharing it. The dark sides of fitness and bodybuilding are often hidden, I'm very glad that someone as famous and loved as you talks about what happened to him. I wish you the best, serenity, inner peace. Thanks again!

Fukk these doctors!!! Read the book The Great pain deception by STEVE OZANICH which suffered more pain than anyone i ever knew INCLUDING Arthritis and TENDONITIS!!! LAZAR u were a motivator to me man, but u really messed up going to the doctors. What you have was a mind body syndrome bro. Good luck,

For people who ask about what my condition was - I have tendinitis on many parts of my body and also arthritis on many parts of my body. I just found a way to control my pain the last year with only exercises and movements that doesn't cause me pain.

I've been a serious lifter since 2007 when I was 21. I'm 35 now. I was super strong in my 20s all the way up to my early 30s. Did a few BB shows and was strong enough to enter powerlifting competitions but never did. Now I'm starting to experience a lot of tendon pain and even had a chest strain yesterday from a heavy bench press which will keep away from benching for a few weeks.
I know that I'm not going to be able to lift heavy for that much longer. But one thing i realize is that I don't need to stop going to the gym, I don't need to stop working out. I enjoy running, I enjoy push ups, pullups....simple exercises that are highly effective. Once I'm at that point where I won't be able to lift heavy anymore, my focus will go solely to running and simple calisthenics. I enjoy lifting but I enjoy being fit more than lifting. Nowadays if you ask me, would I wanna be able to bench 500lbs or squat 1000lbs or run a marathon, I'd much prefer to be able to run a marathon.

I’m not a lifter. Other than that we share a similar path. I was hit by a car at 21, had a failed back surgery, and have had very few days without pain over the last 28 years. It changes who you are, it alters your identity, it tests your character. I applaud you speaking out - but please know that you are at 100% - of what you are TODAY. You can’t measure yourself against who you were before you injured yourself/experienced the pain. Forget the 50% or the 80% of who you were at your peak. You are 100% of who you are today. Tomorrow you will be 100% of who you are tomorrow. It’s fluid, it changes daily and sometimes hourly, but it sounds like you’ve come out the other side and once you realize that you are not defined by the person you once were, you’re on the right path. Keep that shit up 😊

The strenght he's showing during the interview is huge to keep a mental status, sometimes you could notice how hard it was to talk about the future, but he kept it cool, which shows me that he's got more than the 100 % he mentions, but it's getting distributed between his mind and body, I'm sure he won't read this coment, but just in case, he does, I wanted him to know that he's showing much more than a great physic, and I'm glad to know that even though he went through some huge problems, he didn't give up. Keep it up!
