Thanks for your support! I think I missed a lot of stuff but it's hard to explain 5 hard years in 25 min. For people who ask about what my condition was - I have tendinitis on many parts of my body and also arthritis on many parts of my body. All my examinations were always perfect so doctors couldn't find the exact reason for my condition. I just found a way to control my pain the last year with only exercises and movements that doesn't cause me pain.

DONT EVER LISTEN TO DOCTORS because all they want to do is give u SURGERIES!!! LAZAR ANGELOV has TMS ..if anyone wants to read a book called healing back pain by dr john sarno..it will explaing it all! I once knew a contrcution worker...big strong burly guy... He had so much pain in his arm he couldnt brush his teeth!!! before surgery...he went to a lecture , learned about his pain and he RECOVERED 100% no surgery or pills or anything at all! it was a mind body syndrome! and he was 58 years old!!! Fukk these doctors!!! Read the book The Great pain deception by STEVE OZANICH which suffered more pain than anyone i ever knew INCLUDING Arthritis and TENDONITIS!!! LAZAR u were a motivator to me man, but u really messed up going to the doctors. What you have was a mind body syndrome bro. Good luck,

I’m not a lifter. Other than that we share a similar path. I was hit by a car at 21, had a failed back surgery, and have had very few days without pain over the last 28 years. It changes who you are, it alters your identity, it tests your character. I applaud you speaking out - but please know that you are at 100% - of what you are TODAY. You can’t measure yourself against who you were before you injured yourself/experienced the pain. Forget the 50% or the 80% of who you were at your peak. You are 100% of who you are today. Tomorrow you will be 100% of who you are tomorrow. It’s fluid, it changes daily and sometimes hourly, but it sounds like you’ve come out the other side and once you realize that you are not defined by the person you once were, you’re on the right path. Keep that shit up 😊

I've been a serious lifter since 2007 when I was 21. I'm 35 now. I was super strong in my 20s all the way up to my early 30s. Did a few BB shows and was strong enough to enter powerlifting competitions but never did. Now I'm starting to experience a lot of tendon pain and even had a chest strain yesterday from a heavy bench press which will keep away from benching for a few weeks.
I know that I'm not going to be able to lift heavy for that much longer. But one thing i realize is that I don't need to stop going to the gym, I don't need to stop working out. I enjoy running, I enjoy push ups, pullups....simple exercises that are highly effective. Once I'm at that point where I won't be able to lift heavy anymore, my focus will go solely to running and simple calisthenics. I enjoy lifting but I enjoy being fit more than lifting. Nowadays if you ask me, would I wanna be able to bench 500lbs or squat 1000lbs or run a marathon, I'd much prefer to be able to run a marathon.

I remember seeing you on Balkanika in the Emanuelas video even before you were famous and I thought to myself, this guy looks like milion $$$ (no homo). Life definitely has a way of teaching us lessons that we must learn but keep ignoring due to our ego. I've been going through a growing process myself, at times it is difficult and you don't understand why you have to go through all that pain, only when you're able to look at yourself from a different angle are able to see who you are. You are amazing inspiration for me Lazar from 2013 back in the high school. I used to play your video everyday before im training. Its like my preworkout routine. Yes from the perspective of public figure to even admit that you have depression need huge courages which is not everyone have. You are the one who know your body capabilities. So keep believing in yourself.
I know its not my capabilities to even tell you to listen to me it all. But if you allowed me to share something with you. The focus now is rehab training and lil bit of bodybuilding training
    Year 1 60% Rehab Training + 40% BB Training
    Year 2 50% Rehab Training + 50% BB Training
    Year 3 40% Rehab Training + 60% BB Training
and so on to the year 4 until the time is come
Yes it takes times to recover. Yes it is so shitty to not been able to get shape as fast as before. It is not You vs YourSelf like in the past. It is now You HELPING Yourself. Eventhough is gonna be long time. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY, JUST ENJOY The PROGRESS to better and HEALTHIER YOU.
    Cheers,

As someone with tendonitis (which is what he has) I can tell you that unfortunately, it's for life. The best-case scenario is three times a week of pull-ups, push-ups, and walking. And taking a week off each month. He has to find balance and mental happiness. Figure out an alternative career path. He has to stop believing happiness is having a perfect body. Time to focus on his recovery and mental health. Listen to his mind, his body, and survive depression. His mental health should come first.

Not trying to hate on him, just want people to know these are all side effects of excessive steroids or Performance enhancement drugs. And I’m sorry, but i just find this whole interview attempt pathetic. Trying to give an excuse on why he can’t push to his best and not telling the real reason why when its due to drugs.
If the pain has ntg to do with roids and it’s really an understandable type of illness, why can’t he tell everybody about this “pain” when he first have them? And why does this interview not address where does this pain originated from? It’s really sad to see how childish this attempt is trying to gain ppl’s sympathy. That is why I find this whole interview repulsive, as it’s totally portraying the wrong msg that overtraining can lead to this. Come on, overtraining doesn’t make u have pain constantly even when u are resting n not training. Nobody at this age gets tendinitis and arthritis all over the whole body, even an elderly person doesn’t experience until that bad.
It’s only because of the roids that make the muscle develop too fast and big when the tendons doesn’t match up to it that’s why the tendons can’t take it anymore.
I really would have respect him a lot more if he had told the truth and advising ppl not to go on roids, rather than to cover up the truth and protecting his reputation by gaining ppl’s sympathy. I just hope those who are new to bodybuilding are aware now. No intention of hating, just want u guys to be safe and healthy! There is no point of drugs to get a body like that when your health is in jeopardy, and certainly no satisfaction knowing u achieve through the use of all these. Your body has far more potential than what u give credit for, just have to be patient and keep on your diet. Stay safe everybody!
