So... this is going to be a hard one to watch for me. I struggled going through school as I was a very depressed and introverted child but I had one very good friend who's name was Dawn Bruss. She felt the same things I felt. Our favorite band was Linkin Park and this was her favorite song. After some time I went in to the military and we grew apart. She lived far away at one point and I completely lost contact with her. Years later I found her... she had died of MS and left behind a young family. It absolutely tears me up because I owe her a lot for getting me through some very dark days. I miss her.
This song gives me goosebumps every time! They say that Chester's control of his voice got better over time but the control, emotion and depth in this song is why he is and always will be my all time favourite vocalist ♥️

The first is from the hybrid theory album which is my favourite, the second is a slow piano live version minus the rapping and third is from the reanimation album. I thought it was an extended version at first. They're all pretty great

Also, the songs at the end of the album Minutes to Midnight (In Between, In Pieces and The Little Things Give You Away) are some of the most underrated LP songs they ever made.

I nearly took my life 3 years ago, I was walking from work back to my apartment and was planning on leaving my wife and going and jumping off a building after, the whole time this song was in my ears on repeat, luckily I had friends and my wife there to help me step back and get out of the emotions that had locked me down.
