I lost my 17 year old baby girl December 1, 2020. I listened to this song over and over again, must've been a thousand times. It helped me to cry and get it out! Grief is the hardest thing one will go through in life. The emotional roll coaster is unlike any other. Everyone has different ways to cope. Mine was this song, lots of praying, lots of crying. I have played this song every year on December 1st since then. Do lots of crying, look at her beautiful pictures, then smile thinking of seeing her again one day in Heaven 🙏🙏 God bless all who have lost someone they love ❤️

Know the feeling he was my inspiration to be a singer and it got me to where i had the pleasure of playing warped tour. Not as a national act but the experience was amazing nonetheless. When he left here it was literally a brass knuckle punch to the heart. I wish i could of met him and thanked him for his influence on my life.

I love the low and deep sound of the piano in this song, it really brings out the mood and chesters whispering along with the slower beat helps to bring in the feeling. It's December 1, 2023 today. I've realized that I have seasonal depression, though mine is every October. It's been like this for 6 years now. I've always hated October because I get depressed, I get reminded of my horrible traumas, and bad things always happen during that month. This year's October was the second worst so far. I wish I could just forget it. Linkin Park's tribute concert for Chester last 2017 led me to finally seek help. I have been undergoing therapy for half a decade now. To anyone reading this, if you're struggling with depression, I just want to let you know that someone cares for you, even if it's not someone within your circle. You are loved and you are not a burden. May you all have a wonderful holiday this December. See you all again next year.
As someone who has struggled with seasonal depression, this song has always meant a lot to me. Decembers are always the worst, cold and snowy, barely any daylight. I've since overcame my struggles with seasonal depression but ever year is a never ending battle, and this song has always helped me in those times. Thank You Chester

I have seasonal depression too. It always starts the end of December usually through April every year. But I'm proud to say I made it through the winter without being depressed and my spring is going well too this year. I'm a lot stronger now than i used to be. You can find your way out of it. Just do the work.

This song is so haunting since I first heard it when my sister just bought the CD back in 2000. Who knew it would become a real message from Joe to Chester, the lyrics are very chilling. When Chester passed I was depressed for months, much longer than I thought I’d be, he was the voice of my teenage years, he described everything I was going through, I regret I fell out of touch with the band after Minutes to Midnight.
Why is this song so hauntingly beautiful? Its like whenever you are feeling really down at the end of the day for no specific reason, you turn this on and just get lost. It's December 1, 2023 today. I've realized that I have seasonal depression, though mine is every October. It's been like this for 6 years now. I've always hated October because I get depressed, I get reminded of my horrible traumas, and bad things always happen during that month. This year's October was the second worst so far. I wish I could just forget it. Linkin Park's tribute concert for Chester last 2017 led me to finally seek help. I have been undergoing therapy for half a decade now. To anyone reading this, if you're struggling with depression, I just want to let you know that someone cares for you, even if it's not someone within your circle. You are loved and you are not a burden. May you all have a wonderful holiday this December. See you all again next year.

This song is so haunting since I first heard it when my sister just bought the CD back in 2000. Who knew it would become a real message from Joe to Chester, the lyrics are very chilling. When Chester passed I was depressed for months, much longer than I thought I’d be, he was the voice of my teenage years, he described everything I was going through, I regret I fell out of touch with the band after Minutes to Midnight.
