Never just a dog. Because the word, dog, has so much negativity connected to it, I call my baby a canine person.
My deepest thanks, and appreciation to all of those people, at all levels, who were a part of this wonderful documentary. My wife and I have both lived with dogs all of our lives. Farm Shepherds, Collies, a Setter, a couple pointers. They all helped us through some tough times, and after watching this video, I can better understand how some of them seem to be wired directly to our brains.
A dog that learns to trust their humans, will return so much more in return. This video should be made available to as many pre-schoolers as possible, in order to teach them about that unique warmth and bond that a dog can bring to a human. Especially those that are still curious about the world and the things in it.
I had the great fortune of growing up on a farm, with dogs, cats, horses, and other animals, that few get to know anymore. This video could be a great bridge for the young, and a possible retraining for those who were started in the wrong direction.
Been rescuing Bassett Hounds (a few others) for YEARS. Some of my best friends have been ,and still are

Because you have completely WASTED your life being addicted to a filthy mutant begging for food and actually believing that they care about you. You're dogs could be kidnapped, retrained, and attacking you after a few months. They sure as hell could adapt to a new family after a week, and not miss you once ounce! dogs are the fraud of human history.

Thank you very much for sharing this video. I watch it until the end and I love it. I love dogs, since I was young I lived with dogs. They always give me joy, happiness, love and calm. A special thank you to the producers and all the people who have been involved in the making of this film documentary. I hope this film can raise more sensibility among people and stop the abuses, and to those who want to adopt them please think of your decision very carefully before you do it, because once you take them into your home they automatically become your family, so don’t make any excuses to then renounce them for some silly excuses. And for the authorities of some countries who unfortunately eat dogs, please make some good and strong laws to stop the atrocity.
When my buddy dog died a long time ago, I was absolutely heart broken. Perhaps it was so traumatising that I could not go for another one. He was so much fun and protective of me 😢😢😢

Tengo 3, un puggle de 13 años (mamá Pug papá Beagle), una (pastora australiana 1 año y medio ) rescatada en el desierto de 1 mes y un pitbull americano menos de un año rescatado en la calle. El es muy dócil y amoroso. Son una manada de amor y alegría, se quieren mucho los 3 y mi esposo y yo felices.🐾 🐾 🐾❤❤❤😊

I once had a dog that tried to pee out a screen door window, b/c it knew it wasn't supposed to pee in the house. NO SHIT. I'll remember it as long as I live. Tucker was a Chesapeake Bay retriever and he was smart as a whip.
Not only can dogs read human facial cues, they are the ONLY animal that can do so. Even chimps, gorillas, cats and dolphins are not capable of reading our faces. You only have to live with a dog for a short time before you realize they are super smart, have deep emotions and even ideas. Every dog is truly a treasure.
