I think you’re spot on Tim, I got my phase II clone trooper 4 pack and the new mold with the new solid non removable phase II helmet is basically perfect. I’m with you, if they made repaints and retools for every clone legion and variant I’d buy it, they really need to capitalize on the incredible new mold.
Tim no need to apologize,when “stuff” is garbage it needs to be called out. I’m right there with you on these rants. Hopefully the right people will listen and change can happen. Love your videos,keep up the great work !

Definitely agree, we are behind on repaint/retools for the clone troopers. Especially with the end of Bad Batch, fireball, Nemec, Samson, Greer, s3 Howzer. We need these and they make instant money.
Really wish Hasbro would’ve released that Jango on that card back for tvc instead of releasing that deluxe edition
Also Hasbro could you please release some Jedi masters in the tvc line such as plo koon, ki-adi-mundi, shaak ti, even piell etc

Hi Tim, always a pleasure to watch your videos. 2 QFNW : 1.With all improvement we have now with VC Stormtrooper and all accessories/guns/bandoliers availables, I think it's time for a Mimban Stormtrooper 4 pack, what's your thought ? This figure never came in Canada. 2. What we can do with our old figures (like POTF 1995...) when a new mold replace them ? Sell them isn't a option, everybody have them. I'm not a "green/environment fighter'', but I don't want to put at garbage, so is there a place to reuse this plastic ? Thanks for all you do for the community !

I don’t think we’ll see it until San Diego Comic Con at the soonest (July 25th). I don’t have any evidence to support that, it’s just my opinion. I think they will wait for a big event to announce it to drive the excitement.
Hi Tim, you’re not ranting just representing!! QFNW: we badly need an Endor Rebel Commando, for the Endor bunker set. With aliens appearing in the X-wing pilot pack could you see them doing a 4-pack with new hips/ankles using the upper torso of VC26 AND the upper torso of Prune Face to do the missing 3rd Dresselian (so 3 rebel grunts and 1 alien) ?
Hey BB! QFNW! I really hope the next haslab is the cantina. I only collect OT TVC and it would be a phenomenal playset if done right. I would like new aliens, a new Luke, Han, Obi Wan and Chewie along with Wuher and the fabled Tonika sisters. Do you think haslab will include some external accessories for it such as the cool looking black and white land speeder or the domed ship that stands outside? Can you see Hasbro including sound effects like the Cantina Music and some lights? The cantina is quintessential Star Wars to me and i'd like it to be done justice. I dont want it to be done like the Jabba Palace set or the Navaro cantina. Thank you!

QFNW…I have been collecting TVC since 2010 and don’t think I’ve been more disinterested in the line than I am today. It’s so apparent that Hasbro’s focus is on the Black Series. Whether it be the uninspired selection of characters, limited new tooling, increased costs of figures for minimal increase in accessories (I’m looking at you Deluxe line), poor distribution, packaging issues (ring of death being the latest challenge), or any number of other examples, it’s obvious that TVC is playing second fiddle to TBS in Hasbro’s eyes. That being said, my question to you is: if you were given the power to course correct the TVC line, where would you start, and why? Would it be focused on better character selection? More vehicles or playsets? Finishing the 96? Or, some other shot in the arm to the line? For the most part, TVC has gotten stale and needs a boost in a big way. What would be your area of focus to inject new life into this sagging brand? Help us BB…you’re our only hope!
While I agree with the idea of having a Grievous figure on a card, I do believe that their original TVC version is undersized. If they were to do a newly tooled version, I don't see a properly scaled Grievous fitting on a card - he would have to be a deluxe.

Hi BB. Here's something i don't recall discussion of: where are the creatures? We just got a massif, Asoka's owl, and a Loth cat as pack ins, and we got non vintage wampa and those hounds from Solo, and i think Euro Disney had a line of creatures. But otherwise, Disney has some 6 inch, while hasbro has several Black series pack ins. We could use new tauntauns and dewbacks, loth wolves, crystal foxes, mynocks, monkey lizards, plus some of the smaller things like tiny droids and sentients, gorgs (?). They be good subjects for multipacks, deluxe packs, accessory sets, or blind boxes. Andrew (USA/Canada)
Hey BB! My QFNW is regarding the possible Haslab. If the rumors are true (and I hope they are) that it's a cantina playset, what are you hoping the bonus tiers will be?
Figuring the bartender will be part of the basic offer, I'm personally hoping tier one is an led lighting kit. Tier two is a new Hammerhead Momaw Nadon. Tier three is the Tonnika Sisters. Finally tier four is the blue snagletooth nostalgia offering for us old fans. I figure making the Tonnika Sisters one of the upper tiers ensures more people back the project

I have to say this has been a well kept secret…no even Jason from YakFace has been able to find clues. My hopes is we learn what it is within a few weeks. Thanks for all you do!

I would mind a Delta series star fighter maybe a 7B as I think it had the capability for a full sized astromech. A Episode II version with the hyperdrive ring could be fun though.

Hey Tim, the community is definitely better off for having you amd your voice out there! No need for apologies. I'm personally pretty tired of all these non-retro retro figures... no idea why Hasbro insists on building out that line. Focus on TVC!
Question for next week: do you think Hasbro might utilize the Pulse exclusive model they rolled out for the BoBF/Jabba throne room for playsets instead of making them as Haslabs? I would much rather have Haslabs be large vehicles that they'd never sell in stores, and have the option to buy the playsets like the Death Star or the Ewok Village directly from Pulse with a long preorder window.
I'd love to see battlepacks return with EU characters, or animated characters that don't really fit on a cardback.
I'd also say some Cantina members don't really fit.. but i think long time collectors would want them all on cardback.. some of the EU and animated characters i'd be happy to get period.
Training of the clones, with the Mandalorian trainers and the clones in training outfits, the blue and black jumpsuits/undersuits, Naval clones and the Domino squad training armor.
Good repaints/minor retools besides the jumpsuits- which hopefully can get some overlap with pilot outfits.
Imperials and droids all the imperial service people including the imperial army should get a couple of figures imo.. even if we keep the less regularly seen ones off cards.
Mouse droids, stands that look like imperial/republic walkways and the consoles/workstations inside the Venator/ISD 'pits' could be interesting deluxe packs- which should be renamed into world building, a great way to get a recoloured chopper and gonk droid, some of those smaller don't fit on cardback droids into a set, if the panels connect to each other (like hiya toys) the workstation/console could have a backplate/support for the panels to raise them, 2+ panels connected plus one console and its support each side could raise the panels and give that bridge walk way.
Then you open up to all the planning maps, blastdoors, AA laser seats which could be produced legit hasbro products.
Just having hasbro the one's who make the figures creating the panels could allow them to standardize the peg size the bane of my existence.. and grey floor panel packs could be profitable for them, as well as being easily for almost any scene, and they could go wild.. include sand panels in some sets, or grass/mud panels.
I know 3d printers do some of this now but i think if hasbro did it properly the TVC collectors the loose collectors would support it.. and as long as there is always a mouse droid, gonk droid, random imperial recolour in each world building set (pail's garage set???) then you'll always have collectors wanting to buy a set to have.
A Darth Vader without the telescope lightsaber would probably have been mind blowing. I definitely think Hasbro rectifying Tarkin back in 2017 was awesome cos he was a big omission
Hey BB, here is my question. This week on the May the 4th livestream, Clone Wars Anakin from the Ahsoka flashback was pipelined. This was my personal #1 seed in March madness so I am thrilled, but I’m very worried it’s just going to be a repack of the previous TVC Clone Wars Anakin. As the main character of the PT, CW, and other stories, I think Anakin deserves an upgrade. I would be happy if they just added rocker ankles and barbell hips, but a fully new sculpt would be a dream come true. I know a great many members of the TVC community agree with me. Do you think Hasbro will listen to our pleas and give us a definitive Clone Wars Anakin? Thanks!

Q for next week via my mother- What IS the painting process for TVC figures.. i kind of assumed hand painting but surely that is costly, i just got my Jango and fleet commanders and the paint chips on the commander and handling marks make us think hand painting from underpaid perhaps Chinese workers?
Also many laughs over how if i put silver paint on something the cost doubles. (because of Jango)
Awesome video as always ! QFNW : If Hasbro release a Cantina aliens 4-pack like they did with the jabba's denizens, wich characters do you want to get ? I also hope that they will show us more, like a new dewback, a new sandtrooper...

Hello Bossk, with the glaring omission of Prequel figures in TVC this year, do you think the coming Haslab could be from the Phantom Menace? Perhaps it could be the Jedi Council Chamber, which would be amazing! This could explain the lack of announcements as well. Thanks for all the great content!
If it changed I doubt they could ever say anything. But if the reason for the delay is something else, then I hope that Hasbro would be allowed to later say what it was (hey, we decided to add a figure tier, etc).
I have two questions for next week-With the Tales of the Empire series released, do you think that Hasbro will make plans for figures such as the new Barris Offee and Lynn the Inquisitor?
-If they do make them, would this present to them “new opportunities” for making other Inquisitors in TVC? ( Second and Ninth Sisters (Jedi Fallen Order), Seventh Sister, Fifth and Eighth Brothers (Rebels), and the one Inquisitor from Tales of the Jedi.)

QFNW: if the haslab is the cantina what would your top 3 tiers be? I assume it’s going to come baseline with just the cantina and the bartender. After that I just hope each tier is carded aliens
Hi Tim, great video as always. QFNW, We only have Hunter from The Bad Batch released a while ago now in our collections. The Black Series has the whole crew and more. Why do you think Hasbro never release a full wave dedicated to a show/crew etc like the Retro boxes? I'm thinking A New Hope, Bad Batch, Rebels, all in the various season looks etc. Surely Hasbro Pulse, Star Action figures and the online retailers could release special waves dedicated to collections? Also I have to say in my opinion The Retro Collection should be only the original Kenner 96 figures released back in the day. No new media, this is taking away from TVC in my opinion. QFNW, I was listening to you, and others on Victoria's stream on May 4th, and why is more attention seemingly given to 6", and Retro? Isn't TVC more profitable, what with the opportunities for playsets, vehicles, and collectors buying multiple figures for the nostalgic cardbacks?! Makes me nervous! I’m convinced the haslab was changed from being the cantina to something else. There was a lot of unhappiness online with catina potential, and Hasbro doesn’t take risk with TVC haslab. TVC haslab is their biggest money cow, and they’re not gonna risk that. Could I be completely wrong, yep.
Hey there Tim!! I love your weekly videos. I'm still super excited about the TVC Blurrg in the pipeline and will be buying multiples in the Mandalorian packaging. Here's to hoping they release Blurrg's in Rebels & TCW packaging as well. It's super frustrating that Hasbro didn't release TVC Rebels figures when the show was airing weekly, and I can't understand why they wouldn't release TVC Bad Batch while it was airing. Now they're releasing the Haslab Ghost in an Ahsoka box, with figures on Rebels cards. Surely Haslab buyers don't care as much about the Ahsoka series with the Ghost as they do about the Rebels series with the Ghost. The Phantom wasn't even part of the Ahsoka series. We still don't have many of the most popular characters with the Ahsoka series released for TVC. It seems like the Hasbro TVC team are just missing opportunity after opportunity to strike while the iron is hot. How long must we wait for Baylan & Shin? And will we ever get the Howlers? So much to rant about. I can't blame you for responding to more salt poured in our wounds. On the more positive side of things, the figures we have been getting do seem to be more fantastic than not. I'm generally happy with the figures I've been getting lately. Keep up the great work!!!

In view of the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Power of the Force 2 collection, is there any chance that I can see Hasbro make new figures on that style display card? When you think, the first 500 new figures that got made between 1995 and 2005 are practically vintage figures in their own right. Outside of that, thank you in advance.

Hi,BB! The Bad Batch had it's finale! My question for next week is what is the likelihood that we will get the complete Bad batch crew in TVC, including Omega? I would love that, and, if possible, a Ciddarin Scaleback(Cid)and Phee(Phee) Genoa action figures as well! Hahaha! having their ship would make me glow with pleasure!! Hahaha! Blessings!
I think Bad Batch is now in the rear view. It's "old content." On to NEW CONTENT!
@@DayneGodwin We have Director Orson Krennic in the both TBS and TVC lines now even if he's from the "old content" so more Bad Batch characters in the future is not impossible for them to make but just like Krennic, it just takes them a lot of time.
@aleksihalme6726 yeah, I know. That's kind of what I meant. 8 years on and we're still missing two of the Rogue One crew. We *just* got the film's main villain. I know quite a few people who have sold off their Rogue One stuff because to them it just feels like Hasbro will never finish even the core characters.
QFNW: Ive mentioned before that I feel the price tag for TVC doesnt feel justifiable to me, and have since seen someone say Hasbro should start including alternate faces, hands etc for the price point theyre selling them at. I cant help but agree and would feel a lot more inclined to spend money on a figure i can use in different ways, but do you think this is a realistic expectation? Or would this just raise the price even more.
Also: I wonder if the HasLab might actually be the ship from Bad Batch and was meant to tie in with the final season, would be the perfect chance to finish off that line of figures. Thanks for the videos! Youve helped me get through my Assessments this past month! UK

That cracked me up BB when you mentioned Orlando in with the likes of Madrid and Portugal as great places you have been, I lived an hour and a half from Disney’s doorstep before we moved to Alaska. Don’t get me wrong I love the Disney Parks, been to them more times than I can count but compare to cities that have almost ancient history, that made me chuckle. 😂

Personally i really want some of those báttle of geonosis jedi and most of them are very expensive or very outdated.
Given it's the 25th anniversary of Phantom Menace, maybe the Haslab is the Trade Federation Battleship... add-ons could be Qui gon and young Kenobi and some starships

Do you agree Hasbro miss a real trick with the lack of card back showing the figures to come, ships, creatures etc… back in the day the Kenner cards were our Holy Grail on what’s coming .. i know we have a lot more than 96 but better use of that space is another dropped ball…… thoughts BB?
I agree, what a total waste of real estate on the cardback. Hasbro needs to follow Kenner and bring the figure images back on the card.

So BB here is a fun fact about the Disney Parks, I’ve been so much I could be a tour guide lol, do you know what day is the absolute best day to go….weather perfect, no crowds, you could actually do all four parks practically in one day and hit everything……Mothers day

Hi Tim! One thing I took away from the livestream that no one seems to be making very much of is that they announced a new pipelined version of FARMBOY LUKE for Black Series. To me, that says there's a new digital sculpt for ANH Luke that's been made, and I think the TBS version of it they just announced was just a secondary benefit of having done the sculpt for a TVC version, to accompany a Cantina HasLab. Call me crazy, but my Columbo powers found that to be a huge clue.
Hey BB, QFNW, now that they are releasing a 6 pack retro collection of AOTC and ROTS, they are giving us a Padme Amidala figure that's never been releases in TVC. Do you think we will finally get her for TVC, and perhaps maybe also Mon Mothma since she has never been in TVC, but was recently released on ROTJ retro collection? Thanks, my friend!
Hi Tim. I always look forward to watching your videos on a Monday morning.You put them out on a Sunday in the UK and its Monday here in Australia. Makes for a good start to the week. QFNW. With Hasbro just releasing repaints of the same character more and more clones (I'm sure they're just making up clone battalions to make sales) and concertinaing on the new media figures and not so much the OT or PT. And with the lack of ships / playsets plus on top of that their overpricing (those deluxe boxes are just a joke) Hasbro just isn't listening and delivering what the fans want. As a result more and more collectors are loosing interest in collecting Star Wars. My question is. Is Hasbro doing them self out of business by not delivering or even coming close to delivering what the fans want ? As always keep the great videos coming.
We already got the Jango Fett Slave 1 from Clone Wars cartoon show. It was a battle pack that included 3 other figures and a jedi starship. I paid $70 on clearance over 10 yrs ago. Great deal.

First was in Power the Force 2. It was a BIG deal at the time. Pretty amazing figure at that time, too. Made up for Monkey Face Leia and then some 😂
Your fun videos got me into TVC collecting, so cheers for that! The question is, Do you feel they should ever push to have the same figures for both TVC and BS? I like that BS has more lead characters, all while TVC is amazing for filling in scenes or background characters and extras.
What do you think about the OG Clone Wars line of figures in 2003? Recently I had the idea to go back and look at them all, I used to have a bunch as a kid (I'm 23) andddddd I went a little off the wall and have now bought the entire line, vehicles and all. It's crazy to me how back then we got EVERYTHING all at once, a variety of clones including arc troopers, so many different Jedi, various droids, vehicles, geonosians, all the villains (Durge and Ventress) and while yes I understand the articulation isn't anything crazy, the sculpt and paint and VARIETY are insane compared to these days!!!
Hey BB, qfnw do you feel the next generation of star wars fans get further and further away from the original trilogy?
First time listener from the USA here. You have probably been asked this a million times, but, what's one character you have never seen as a figure that needs one? Mine would be Chewbacca father Ithcy from the Holiday Special, or a Darth Maul with spider body from Clone Wars. Either one of these may or may not already exist, but I've never seen them.

QotW: now that Disney has started producing media on physical form, what do you think the chances are they will release the final season of The Clone Wars on Blu-ray? Being of a certain age, I like my Blu-ray and DVD's and I would love to own a physical copy of the final season.

Qfnw, with the appearance of the cool looking clone underground resistance troopers in the final season of the bad batch, do you think we'll get Rex's crew in TVC, possibly as 4 packs? I've made customs of them all myself (vids on my channel...cheeky plug lol) those cards look awesome, I'm in the UK 😉 keep up the great content, I always look forward to Sunday evenings 👍🏻
As much as those troopers are cool, we hardly have anything from the clone wars yet. Personally I’d much rather have phase 1 Rex and Cody than nemec and fireball. What about you?
@@conradpad5811 personally I'd rather have good phase 2 named clones, we're getting a new rex soon, but a newly sculpted Cody, wolffe etc would be my preference. But I wouldn't complain about a phase 1 version of Rex or Cody.
Some other well known named clones would be nice as well...kix, boost, sinker, boil (they missed a trick with that 212th 4 pack, though I did make a custom boil)

Great stuff as always from ABB; QFNW, if the whole world was set to end in the next 24hrs, which figure would you open last (if at all)? For me the vintage collection Captain Phasma and for 6” the SDCC Boba Fett (both signed by their respective actors), maybe pleasant / unpleasant in equal measures.

Hey Tim, What is the best version of the Sandtrooper that won't break the bank, I am trying to finish my exterior Cantina Scene when Luke and Obi Wan get stopped by the 5 Sandtroopers, I think possibly the 30th Anniversary Sandtroopers since there are a lot of different versions. 💪🤓

I just watched Phantom Menace again on May 4 with the kids. For TVC I'd love to get Darth Maul with his speeder or maybe a pod racer for little Anakin ... I'm just hoping the Haslab isn't the Gungan battle scene against the droids ;) Please no Jar Jar
Hey BB great content as always! Hope the 4th was with you. Question for next week, would you say that TVC is for more collectors or still for kids to pay with and get into collecting? I remember as a kid, stores were filled with 3.75 figures and getting them all was the goal to play with and recreate the movies. Articulation back then was always wanted and now with so much of it in TVC kids could have so much fun! Keep up the great work!

Great video as always. Just a thought. How would you feel about the original alternate vintage Kenner Star Wars cardback pics,(farmboy Luke-gunner station, Han, Ben & Chewbacca) being included as pack-ins for vehicles, HasLabs, figure packs, etc., while releasing the original cardback pics in the mainline? Hasbro would definitely get their use out of the same figs with different cards. Thanks for everything you do for the community and stay well.

Personally I’m guessing Hammerhead, Greedo, Walrusman, Snaggletooth, Wuher, a Duros and the Tonnika Sisters (the first four in Kenner colors as a homage to the original Kenner playset).

Hi bossk, question for next week, is the 187th legion clone the new Disney store star wars mascot? They have a helmet, a black series figure and a larger scale figure, I guess that minifigure Lego released a year or two ago must have been popular. Gotta say, I really love those dudes and hopefully if TVC gets a new airborne mold we might get a 4 pack

hey BB, QFNW: if you could choose any ship from all of the Wars to be made, what would you pick? I'd personally LOVE a scale accurate Sith Infiltrator, since it's my favorite Prequel era starship.
side note about the Haslab situation: i have a running joke with my friends that it was delayed because an intern must've DROPPED the prototype and broke it right before reveal day, and they have to repair it or make a new prototype now

Hello, do you think they should have revealed what the haslab was without showing us anything or do you think it will be better showing everything at once. I understand not showing a half finished product but revealing what it is would have got atleast some excitement and something to look forward to? Also would love to see a room tour, it looks great!
Hey bossk I haven’t got to comment in a while but been thinking about this for a while and last week and this week on your Sundays videos that we all love watching and of course your videos you drop for us thank you but to the point since it’s hard for the vintage collection line to get the bad batch characters that we don’t have. What are your thoughts if the vintage collection line just did the four pack like we’ve been getting some of the four pack clone troopers and what not and then they can make their way into putting them on single cards might be easy for Hasbro to do it that way since for the four packs they’re normally a bit on the pricier side?
Hey BB, maybe it is part of Hasbro’s strategy to give us just a a few TVC figures per year because they don’t want to exhaust the collectors?
Most of my figures are in boxes and I am running out of space. If they were bringing out more figures per year, maybe I would have to stop collecting at all because of space and money.
Hasbro might know this is valid for more than one collector.
Again, might be their strategy just to bring a couple of TVC every 6 months but on a steady rate?

What do you think the next haslab will be? I’ve been dreaming of a Clone Wars vehicle as a haslab but I see a larger interest in the OT rather than the prequel trilogy at least when it comes to TVC. What are your thoughts?
Question for next week. I was going through a lot of my old figures on the shelf and I noticed that some were very gummy. Are you concerned that the quality of the vintage collection will get gummy as well over the next few years? Thank you and keep up the great work.
No need to apologise Tim! I have been constantly moaning and ranting myself. The lack of reveals and care from Hasbro for TVC is anger-inducing to say the least. I'm a massive clone wars fan and see so much potential in the clone wars figures alone but Hasbro does not seem to have the same picture. TVC is supposed to be a world-building scale but half of the figures are missing accessories and their squad mates i.e Bad Batch, Rogue one. Smaller scale figures have the potential to do so well but again Hasbro is lacking in connecting with what fans want.
Hi Tim, QFNW. What do you think may have caused the Haslab delay? I’m wondering if it is the tiers/packins. The Rancor Haslab for BS seemed to fail because of poorly selected tiers/ pack in figures and even the Ghost is not without controversy… those of us who backed it then had to pre-order Chopper and Sabine separately to complete the crew. Do you think Hasbro has heard the chatter online about ‘not including the mains’ or sticking other O96 figures behind a Haslab firewall and are doing a quick rethink to include more obscure, but necessary characters like Hem Dazon, Dice Ibegon, Feltipern Trevagg, characters that might not pay their way in the mainline? Either that or they’ve realised they need to world build the hell out of a Cantina release with a plan for figures and maybe other players well into 2027, 50th anniversary, and beyond? All of this depends on if it is the Cantina…🤔

QFNW, I got to thinking about the possible cost of this year's HasLab, assuming it is indeed a Cantina, how much do you think it might cost for collectors? I bit the bullet last year for the Ghost, a huge chunk of cash I don't normally spend on myself. So I'm a little concerned as to how much another HasLab is going to set me back and whether I can justify spending the money this year. Cheers, again, my friend!
Hey bossk! Qfnw: I was wondering if you could clarify somethig about droid factory. I know the original mold is from hasbro and then went on to be a Disney park exclusive thing, but the only droid factory mold that hasbro seems to use is the astromechs. I guess my question is whether hasbro only has access to pre Disney droid factory molds for tvc, or if they can use the modern parks stuff. It would be cool to see something like droid factory 4-lom, bb8, d-0 or b2-emo make it to the mainline
Great Vid pal. RE: Figure obsolescence - where do we draw the line with continual releases of the same characters over and over and over again? Are we in an iPhone situation where the best Vader ever is replaced by yet another release and every other Vader becomes obsolete? What characters have we got in your opinion the definitive version of and we don't need to re sculpt yet again? UK x

I own 80% every 3.75inch Star Wars figure but now I m feeling pretty mad about TVC. I m a child of the prequels, I was 9 when TPM dropped and seeing that beatiful 3 pack for TBS made me feel like TVC is not the scale for me anymore, what do you think about it? Do you agree I should go to TBS?
