I have not backed any HasLabs before because I don't have a place to display vehicles as big as the sailbarge, the Razorcrest or the Ghost. But the modular design of the cantina makes it more appealing to me because I can break it down and display it.
@JohnnyRetro-yw5mc not yet, still thinking it over. I can see setting it up as an entertainment district. But if I get it, I'll have to go all in with the deluxe version and that is a big cash output.
I haven't backed any other Haslabs either, but I am really happy to back this one. It is such an iconic part of Star Wars... and I really regret not having backed the sail barge.
i want a playset, but that's just it, it comes apart, you cant pick it up, there is no floor, so the carpet monster will eat your cups and figures, the wall doesn't extend around the whole thing, there aren't pegs for figures to stand on because there is no floor. so i dont' think it is a playset, a playset you can play with, they showed it falls apart when you try to touch it
You should get the Young Jedi Adventures Tenoo Jedi Temple Playset. Fun to play with on the carpet and there are also no small accessories you could swallow.
I threw my hat in the ring for the deluxe version. It's starting to pick up numbers. Is it true the Tonnika sisters will be sold retail? I read a few years ago that one of the actresses refused to agree. The tall one said she was fine with it. She was my favorite anyway. This will be a great addition to my Mandalorian cantina.
Congratulations, man! I hope it backs for sure! I was always under the impression those figs r behind the pay wall, but didn't they do that with the ghost?
It's gonna be backed, no doubt about that, it's already nearing the 4k halfway mark in a day and a half that its been up, with 30 more days to go. The real question should be, will it make it to 17k for all tiers to unlock. The last 2 Haslabs ended at around 21-23k mark. 17k doesn't seem to bad to reach. Star Wars collectors have waited decades for the Tonnika sisters and that alone is gonna drive enough to at least get it backed at 8k. Once it gets backed, then it will be FOMO kicking in to carry it over the line.

If there’s one set id buy it’d be the Cantina, but it should be the full set for like $500 or include more figures for the price they’re asking. I wish the sailbarge was still for sale
I think it could have been offered at retail in three or four sets.....I really only want the bar, I 3d printed a cantina for myself......700 canadian is way too much, but this will fund im certain....tvc fans always jump on these haslabs
It's going to be a thousand dollars Australian for the deluxe. I'm fine with that. Because no one is going to make a fast buck out of me in a couple of years time. First time backing a Haslab project but I think it's worth it...especially when I already have 99 percent of the aliens. My biggest problem is where I'm going to put it...
Hi. I just came across this video. I backed this, so I really hope it goes through. At 23 days, 22 hours and 20 minutes remaining, the backers are at 4,766, so it is over halfway, but I have been noticing that not very many new backers are being added every day, which has me a little worried. ( especially about unlocking all the tiers) As everything stands now, Do you still believe it will not get fully backed? If it doesn't end up getting backed, Do you think Hasbro will still release the Tonnika sisters and other figures ? Thanks
I think it will back! The viewers have educated me more on tvs, lol! Typically, they're not supposed to put figures for sale that are behind a haslab but who knows!
I guess whatever it takes to get views. It launched yesterday, only needs 8000 backers and it's almost halfway with 30 days left. The TVC stuff has never failed to back, and this will be no different. It's the Black Series collectors that screw themselves on Haslabs.
@@JohnnyRetro-yw5mc You did state in the video you want it to back, and i get that. I think maybe I'm a bit cynical about people's motives of late when it comes to UA-cam and that's on me. Great video but it will absolutely back. Like no doubt in my mind, the only real question is how many people are going to buy. Thats what I'm still deciding and why I havent backed yet. A good way to guess if it will back or not is if its TVC or Black series. Black series has never backed a single haslab, TVC has backed everytime.
These are beautiful pieces, one and all. They make me cry. Cry that they exist, toys that are actually what we as kids thought we would end up with. But at 500 or so a pop, my God. I wish them well and offer all praise, but no support.
This is gonna cost around $800-1000 in my part of the world. So yeah, I dunno how many down here will back it. Picked up the Razor Crest. But i've since quit collecting modern stuff. Just sitting in my spare room, still in the factory sealed box. I'll get around to selling it one day lol
Its touch and go now I think with 16 days left. I backed three of these - 2 deluxe and one regular (one display, one in the box and one as a gift for my mate's birthday). The Tonnika sisters will probably carry it If it funds I doubt it will tier though. People are worried about the space the deluxe takes up but when you measure it up you only need a low 3ft*3ft table and you still have 7 inches free on one side across 29 inches for Dewbacks, landspeeders etc. So you can have a great exterior to Mos Eisley as well. And if you look at the door by the side of the entrance, that could just be a great place for R2 and 3PO to hide if Hasbro make the door an opener. I would've had a Wioslea figure on a tier because outside is just as important as inside and the Legacy Coll figure is hard to get and expensive. If it gets backed then the delivery guy will hear me say 'I have you now!' with no irony at all!
I was going to back the Razor Crest... till they blew it up on the show. Having the figures as an unlock is a terrible idea. Unless you've been collecting and opening your figures, it's going to be a very empty cantina.
All of the 3.75" scale Haslabs have been backed, none of the other Star Wars Haslabs have, so it's unlikely that they'll ever do another Black Series toy or role-playing prop.

I bought the deluxe one. I only bought one because it is costly like you both said. I like it and think this could get better if this gets funded. There could be details they may not had been able to add in time of the announcement. Once the box gets revealed that will be even better. This set is actually cheaper to buy than buying individual pieces made by custom 3D model pieces. Just my humble opinion. I really hope this gets funded. I'm hoping all tiers get met too!
Black series fans do not support HasLabs. The most convicted, loyal, Star Wars fans are vintage collectors. The fans know it and so does Hasbro. Thats why you’re never going to see another black series HasLab.
@@JohnnyRetro-yw5mc marvel legends fans are the same. They collect and actively hate the line they collect. It’s baffling to me. I hope that they stop doing haslabs for marvel legends. Gijoe, ghost busters, transformers and vintage Star Wars collectors are the only fans that deserve them and support them. It would more profitable for Hasbro to give fans more haslabs to fans that love the line then to continue with marvel legends or black series.
Yep, the 3.75 Star Wars community is super old and have too much disposable income now. 35 and under are poor because they keep buying 6 inch scale Black Series clone troopers
An at st would take up maybe half a detolf so definitely. Because of the issue of populating the cantina I won't be backing it. They didn't do much in terms of populating the sail barge. A black series X-Wing could hang from the ceiling. I've converted my FA 1/12 tie fighter to ROTJ
This haslab Cantina set is a dream ,I've always wanted the cantina before it even came out I even spoke too 3-D printers,,and they where talking thousands of dollars,,,so when Haslab announced the cantina I jumped aboard an the price is kinda cheap so I'm backing the deluxe set, just talk too some 3-D printers an asks them how much they would charge you too make one for you,,,then you would understand why it has too be backed,,plus you should be happy for the collectors who wants this
Haslab Sail Barge came with Yakface, Razor Crest came with Grogu & Jawa, Ghost comes with Rebel crew. All of these figures have been re-released. Card and paint applications are different but, we still got the figures at retail. I can't see them not releasing these Cantina figures even if it doesn't fund or hit all tiers. Imagine Hasbro spending money on a mold and throwing it away, not happening. I am backing 1 Deluxe set.
Sorry this will absolutely back and it may back all the way to 4th tier. It’s a classic scene in the the vintage collection and has some awesome figs like the tonneka sisters which have never been made before. It will be a big hit
To date there has been five projects not funded. Cookie Monster which was a total miss by their marketing team, Ghost Rider which was an overpriced underdeveloped car, Reva's saber which was a miss as she's a minor character that was extremely polarizing, and a board game expansion that was grossly overpriced, and lastly the Rancor which they mailed in and shouldn't have done anyway as they already had a 6" version released. The Cantina will likely fund but it most likely won't see any of the tiers hit. Both tiers are $100 higher than they should be. Put them at the lower price point (which is what we're seeing is the main sticking point) and it would have maybe another 3000 backers right now and a likely chance of hitting all tiers.
This reminds me of Has lab giant man. It took forever for it to back. But Marvel legends sells a lot more than the vintage collection. The vintage collection is kind of a smaller niche market. I am indifferent either way even though I am a three and three-quarter Collector.
No offense man, but you’re a bit new to this to be making this commentary, While I agree a playset is a new approach to Haslab, your comments about 6” Star Wars is clearly based on you being outside of the Star Wars collecting community, a little research would illustrate the history involved in this. Do yourself a favor and research Hasbro’s stance on 6” scale star wars vehicles, why Hasbro has that stance and how 6” star wars vehicles has preformed at retail.
No offense taking. If you're going to do UA-cam, you have to expect people to asshats sometimes with their comments, but btw, your comment is not. I appreciate the feedback.
It will probably back with just enough but I wish they were more pro consumer with it especially with the price because then this haslab could go from just barely funding to a smash hit because I and lots of others find the price very off-putting for what you're getting
Here’s some advice, buy 2 and sell one for double the price and get yours for free. This will easily fund due to the sisters…..these have been asked for for years.
@@JohnnyRetro-yw5mc and to touch on another Haslab… The Ghost was scheduled to fail as Hasbro was only releasing 2/3 of the Ghost crew. It wasn’t until the last 2 weeks Hasbro decided to release the remaining crew for an AFTER purchase if the goal was met. The purchase is open to everyone, not just Haslab backers which caused a huge stink and went against Haslab promises.
I for one won't be backing the cantina. The cost is to high for a diorama and most of the figures can only be obtained via bidding wars on eBay. If you want to spend over 1K then perhaps the overpriced cantina is for you. I think most of the backers are extreme figure collectors and already have a pile of figures to occupancy it with. I do agree with you concerning vehicles, they sell quick. As far as 6" inch scale vehicles tho, I'm not sure. I own a 6" inch scale Star Wars First Order TIE Fighter. It looks great, but the size and required space to display it is not for everyone. 3" inch scale vehicles are a win, win, but even the Imperial Shuttle, Falcon and Sail Barge push the limits of required space to display it. On a personal note, I want a re-release of the Shuttle and Falcon. They already have a newer AT-ST and its pretty nice.
This will get backed. I backed 2 deluxe and may still pick up a standard version. I backed the Rancor for Black Series, but I'm now 100% out on Black Series, so I wouldn't back an AT-ST in that scale.
It's still early. IMO the reason why the Ghost reached the goal after a few days is because almost everyone in the TVC community supported it, whereas this time a lot of people boycott this Haslab because they want more New Media stuff. The OT people who backed the Ghost despite having a laundry list of things they would rather have will remember this when it is time to back the next New Media Haslab. It would be interesting to see how many people really want the Bad Batch crew and Marauder if all the OT people with disposable income would stop backing every TVC Haslab (often multiple times) just to keep the line alive.
Well, I won't be supprting... But it will probably pass. Most things do. people seem to have plenty of money...or don't, But still spend on them. Still can't believe a couple didn't fund but they were extremely terrible
Yeah I'm going to have to disagree i think it will be backed first of all its the cantina...... so many people wanted it next the twins the star wars community been asking for them for years and the bar tender as well and as of this minute they are at 3.500 and change and their is still 30 days left its going to be backed I'm positive of it unfortunately I can't afford it or I would but if I am able to afford it I'll do the standard one not the deluxe great video
I haven't backed a Haslab yet, but I would love to see a Black Series scale AT-ST. Another one I would back would be a true 3.75" scale version of the AT-AT, which would probably be around 4-5 feet tall. But don't ruin it, like they did to the 2010 Legacy AT-AT, by overdoing it on the play features. When fully closed up, the toy should be able to pass for a screen used model from ESB.
I've got no interest in the things that were released like the Jabba Sail Barge, yeah I've got 3 thousand dollars for something I'd maybe have in my whole living room. I'd rather have a Death Star including the superior Palitoy version way more than either the bargebor the huge Millennial Falcon or AT-AT again 3 to 6 hundred dollars forget it Hasbro your shit is worse than DIZNEE shit-stain movies and programming.
This guy that can't even pronounce the names and hasn't backed any projects thinks he knows what he's talking about.🙄 And the Vintage Collection has surpassed The Black Series in popularity. He just prefers TBS, so he is in dreamland. 3.75" is the true Star Wars scale. TBS Haslabs will fail. This will fund.
"I find your lack of faith disturbing".
Nice!😝🤣

No offense man, but you’re a bit new to this to be making this commentary,
While I agree a playset is a new approach to Haslab, your
comments about 6” Star Wars is clearly based on you being outside of the Star Wars collecting community, a little research would illustrate the history involved in this.
I appreciate the feedback.
the dude giving me his opinion about the "java sail bridge"
He also mentioned the “Crazor Rest.”
Did I say Rest?🧐🤷🤣
It will probably back with just enough but I wish they were more pro consumer with it especially with the price because then this haslab could go from just barely funding to a smash hit because I and lots of others find the price very off-putting for what you're getting
I'm thinking now it will back (and I hope it does).
@@JohnnyRetro-yw5mc me too if it means more and better haslabs but I guess I'll just pass on this one personally
I'm passing on it, too, because I'm not a tvc collector. If I was, I'd probably back it.
love my Razon Crest, can't wait for the Ghost. the cantina is a meh for me.
so yeah… it’s funded so 🤷♂️
That's OK with me, lol! I'm happy it did get funded.
Here’s some advice, buy 2 and sell one for double the price and get yours for free.
This will easily fund due to the sisters…..these have been asked for for years.
Yes, l definitely didn't know the demand for the sisters, but now I do! Lol!
Haslab Fall 2024 Ghostbusters…I am looking forward
12th scale Ecto-1 will be fire 🔥 😍 👌
I'd be all over a shuttle!!!
Well, you were wrong… but not entirely
I'm not upset being wrong here. I think it's a cool piece for sure! Did you back it?
@@JohnnyRetro-yw5mc yea, 1 deluxe, but i think we can only get to greedo
This will get backed. I backed 2 deluxe and may still pick up a standard version. I backed the Rancor for Black Series, but I'm now 100% out on Black Series, so I wouldn't back an AT-ST in that scale.
That's awesome! Do you have the space for two to three sets? Or are you keeping one sealed and or selling one?
6in sucks , if it's black series I don't buy it
HasLab for Black Series will be way too large and very pricey. It works for TVC.
I thought everyone wanted the Cantina.
Couldn't agree more! We all have credit cards! Lol!
Personally I think it’s way overpriced….for that price tag it should be black series scale not vintage
Whomp wah, instead you did.
It's not that serious man.
I could be wrong and I won't be mad! It's definitely backing a lot stronger than I anticipated!
i am not backing this but i do think it will hit 8k. as far as all of the tiers hitting that is a big question mark.
It doesn't seem like it's worth $500. With that said, hope the fans that want it are able to get it. Good luck everyone.
I'd rather put $500 towards a Haslab Rattler
I'm definitely backing the Rattler!
@JohnnyRetro-yw5mc It'll be a mutha!
A more accurate AT-AT or shuttle would be awesome! Primary could still scale down the AT-AT a bit but still make it a monster!
Um...
I've got no interest in the things that were released like the Jabba Sail Barge, yeah I've got 3 thousand dollars for something I'd maybe have in my whole living room. I'd rather have a Death Star including the superior Palitoy version way more than either the bargebor the huge Millennial Falcon or AT-AT again 3 to 6 hundred dollars forget it Hasbro your shit is worse than DIZNEE shit-stain movies and programming.
funded
This guy that can't even pronounce the names and hasn't backed any projects thinks he knows what he's talking about.🙄 And the Vintage Collection has surpassed The Black Series in popularity. He just prefers TBS, so he is in dreamland. 3.75" is the true Star Wars scale. TBS Haslabs will fail. This will fund.
Fair enough. I still think a 12th scale at-st would back (would you back it?). I think most of the black series haslab were dumb (lightsaber).
All the things they could have done and they go play set?! Sheesh
Lol
🤣
Already 46% of the way there. Bub, if you can’t pronounce cantina your opinion isn’t highly valued.
But yet here you're commenting on my opinion 🤔 🙄 🙃 😏
It's almost 58% now (June 13th).
Well this vid is going to age poorly very soon
And thats not a bad thing
It's so close to being backed! Once again, I hope it does!
