Welcome to Day 22 of the Evening Yoga Movement! Tonight we're doing a yin yoga class for flexibility and relaxation. I hope this 15 minute yin yoga class helps you prepare for sleep. We'll go through poses like half butterfly, reclined butterfly and cat pulling it's tail. It's great for all experience levels (beginners welcome!) and no props are needed.
Tonight's affirmation: I am grounded and centered
In yin yoga, poses are held for about 2-3 minutes per side. The intention is to relax our muscles and let ourselves sink into the pose. Yin yoga is also a fantastic style of yoga for flexibility. You should be ready for bed after this 15 min yin yoga evening stretch.

Day 22 fantastic. I usually do this in the morning. Much prefer the Yin Yoga a it gives time to get into and hold the poses

Loved this class! My husband and I drive long hours so our bodies are tight from sitting all day. These before bed stretches help us get better sleep and get rid of the fatigue that accumulates through out the week. I have noticed we are calmer, happier and production rate has increased. April 18th is my birthday so I was going have this challenge be the thing I would do for myself each day of the month.
From time to time I have a sciatica problem that likes to flare up. Of course this time it started bothering me about mid March. I thought I could push through it with some stretches but it's not getting better. Now I have to take some time to work on the back issues before I can move forward with anything else. I was so excited to do this along with everyone! There is just something so cool about knowing that there are people somewhere in the world doing the same yoga at the same time as me...... (Or at least close to the same time 🤷♀️)
I hope you are all enjoying your nighty yoga/bedtime routine! Maybe I'll join in on the next challenge.

I've been using/watching your videos for about a year or so - thank you! I really like how your longer videos are always different - not the usual repetitive sun salutations with a few variations. Your flows are challenging and interesting. Would love to see some power yoga sweaty workout options, if possible. As for this 30 day evening challenge - my husband committed to doing this with me and it's been really great cos it's the most yoga he's ever done in his life. He's a long distance ultra trail runner and needs more flexibility in his life. I think this series may have hooked him because the videos are short enough to do - each time we switch to sitting for the end closing he inevitably says "Already?!" He REALLY appreciates just how descriptive you are, which is why I suggested he watch your videos. THANK YOU, Kassandra! :)

Thrilled I found this. I’ve been trying to go to more yin yoga class but with young kids it’s so hard, but I just know I feel amazing after yin. So glad I decided to see what practices were available on UA-cam! This is perfect. Going to try the challenge for sure
