This is LITERALLY THE HARDEST THING I've ever and was a real pain... most of it was transcribed by ear so I have no idea if I even played this correctly🤣🤣
As you may see from the end of the video, I originally performed this live in school a couple years ago (at 96% speed in the live performance) and I am in final year of school now. I didn't have Patreon then so my brother kindly made a backing track for me, so I thought id post another video with it in (which is this one)! I just kept the bass and video recording from original video and changed the backing track to this one. Tabs for part of it are on ‪@BassCampOfficial Patreon.
Gonna move onto own compositions and arrangements now! I'm thinking of doing a Cobra Kai themed video next as season 6 is coming out, then I got a really cool metal cover of Czardas after that!

It was like 3 4 years ago I saw charles first time and it was this song and I loved it! I started learning it several months after and played it but then forgot about it till now!

​@@jonaschan I think you gave more than a "solid performance." You lit it up! Your technique definitely shows that you have studied a lot Berthoud. There are adults with decades on the bass who couldn't come anywhere close to your level of tapping. Keep up the great work, and don't be afraid to play some simple but deep grooves like James Jamerson or Earth Wind & Fire, even Mississippi delta blues stuff. Seriously dude, nice job!
