And of course Wojtek was slammin'! And all the others, too. So fun to hear.
2 years on and I have to say you must be well within the top ten technically best bass players in the world if not number one. You rock my man!
I like how you switched to the Musicman bass for the Flea solo 😂
Both Victor and Marcus are very efficient in their movements.
I am kind of proud that Polish surname is known in a bass comunity
Nie jeden już próbował podchodzić do tego sola Wojtka :)
Isn't wojtek the name of that epic bear guzzling ammo-loading bear who fought the nazis in wwii?
@@jedinxf7 Yest. That bear 's name was Wojtek, too :) But here is the best polish bass player (IMHO)- Wojtek Pilichowski.
A Charles video with Pilichowski in the thumbnail?! Never clicked something so fast!
In life few people become masters of anything. But I am so amazed at your virtuosity. Well done. You are an awesome bas player.
Charles you absolutely nail this stuff. Tighter and cleaner than the original
The level of musicianship in the end times are off the chain. I can't believe what I am witnessing these days.
End times... yes yes true true
Yes with our combined efforts in tonal ritual summoning, we can be lucky enough to witness Lord Cthulu consume all, order and chaos
I just love how he's bobbing his head and enjoying the music. I love when a master can just appreciate the craft.
After about 15 years of learning various instruments, I think I have found the musician I look up to the most. Charles is astonishingly great not only as a bassist, but musician. I don't know if it's possible to get to his level, but I will not be discouraged and keep practicing on
Just wow.... Victor Wooten is a genius - and was the king of the bassists for a long time IMHO.... but now, there is a new king! WOW!!!!!!
i have no words... i've recently discovered ur channel and i cant stop watching ur vids....
He he, Wojtek pozamiatał, jak zwykle zresztą :-)
Honestly. I think Charles plays all those cleaner than the masters themselves. You're untouchable!! Would love to see you play in a band though.
I love Charles but keep in mind those videos have way worse recording quality plus older and Charles likely has top notch recording quality
Incredible talent. So impressive to make these chop busters look easy.
Methamphetamines may contribute to Flea's unique ability to play extreme bass for 5 minutes straight.
That smile when he gets near the end of classical thump. It really tells the story of how many takes he recorded before getting it right.
Edit: and it was freaking awesome.
You never fail to deliver, and always put a smile on my face! Outstanding!!!
Pilichowski used to say "10 years by 10 hours everyday and you will be a good bassist"
Come on. Eight years, eight hours a day should be more than enough. ;)
Wojtek Pilichowski is the best. Your's version solo is great too. 🙂
You absolutely killed the last one! Gonna try my best to learn it too!
YES! That Wojtek solo has long been the crown jewel of bass solos in the internet for me. I need to pick my bottom jaw up off the floor after that section at 8:34.
This was just Charles flexing, not that I am mad, I am enjoying it :)
Love jaco, marcus miller and weather report but never heard his version before thanks.
Love how you say youll do it with absolutely no arrogance.
The Polish guy was amazing!!!!
I totally agree
Charles + Wojtek, today is a good day
Is there anything you can't play? I am mind blown everytime I watch you play... you're probably the most technically talented bassist I have ever seen. I would say any solo by Billy Sheehan or Stu Hamm would be a walk in the park for you. Keep up the content!
Na koniec WOJTEK PILICHOWSKI
Najlepszy polski basista - mistrz „kciuka w górę” ♥️🔥🤘
WOJTEK was just a fraction of that killer solo. Nice job
you are a great musician congratulations and thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful details that wonderfully analyzed.
