"I really appreciate how Davie claims superiority without disrespecting the other players. " - Yeah sure. Whatever you say. Davie is prententious dick.
Charles: Finesse, sharpness, speed, smoothness. His fingers dance with the strings with softness, making it sing sweetly. Davie: Agressive, raw, brute, explosive. He slaps and punishes the strings making it scream fiercely. I love both styles.
This is what I've always wanted to say. When you listen to Charles' composition you'll feel serenity and when you listen to Davie's it becomes chaotic.

Davie: *GENDER REVEAL AT 10 MILLION SUBS*
Lol 🤣
Damn😆
I assume it's BASSsexual
What's your favorite thing about UA-cam? and why?
You know he’s a master comic when he has you laughing with a single look following charles’s go. Then he slamdunks you with the “well, thats it for the day’ line. By then it was rofl.
yeah I was thinking the same thing, ofc had to watch Charles part 4 times so I got to see the comedy in full effect. Davie really knows his schtick.
Watching this in 2023 and I can't help but notice that this now has way over 300.000 likes...
Charles is amazing but than again so is Davie. I love how they continue to challenge eachother!
I really appreciate how Davie claims superiority without disrespecting the other players. Very entertaining. All of the bass players were pretty good imo.
I’m glad someone said this. So many people take his over the top persona too seriously and consider him an arrogant pr*ck but he actually shines the spotlight on talented artists and is very humble in real life.
@@farfaraway4285 That act makes him pretty darn lovable from my POV, but then I like people with exaggerated egos (who you know are just being silly)
@@majorpwner241 Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes to mind….
no, not all lol
"I really appreciate how Davie claims superiority without disrespecting the other players. " - Yeah sure. Whatever you say. Davie is prententious dick.
The last was the best, SLAP! YOU WERE CHECK MATED!
My wife just asked me if I was watching Seinfeld.
That's fantastic

I'd like to hear Charles' baseline in an actual song.
Check out his soundcloud

Some of it actaully sounds like the paino version of Armin Van Buuren - In And Out Of Love 🤔
many of these were easy by Davie's standards but tbh, the fact he got a competent bassline for 7 bucks is quite astounding to me...
best value bassline
Yes it was really good considered the value
The fact you can buy a bassline still has me confused....
I still have time for you Davie504 we still love you, Ather all these years. Go hard mate from Australia. Bass Bass Bass on
I love how the pro epic bassist plays one note and then UA-cam deploys ads to stop him
Both Davie's and Charles's takes of the basslines are the literal definition of eargasms... keep it up!
...best use of the suffix "-gasm" so far this month.

After watching Charles - "So that's it for today" I almost fell out of my chair
감사합니다.
Go to bed.
Jesus Christ... I have replayed Charles' solo so many times... what the hell man, holy crap, what's with this guy? He should appear on the examples for the definition of "Gifted" in the dictionary
For sure! I've replayed 50x myself! Killer solo
CABELINHO DE FELIPE NETO? KKKKKKKKK
I have opened this video at least 50 times to replay that solo.
All I can say…absolutely
He's like thedooo of bass
I was hoping to see quintuple camera guy, it's not the same without him :(
Yep I feel robbed
This PRO CONTENT MAKER with 8 MILLION SUBS SCAMMED ME...
yea, and the 69 USD guy
@@TheAftermathz i love the 69 guy! Them are the conplete sett heheheh
How many camera's did Davie use vs the PRO though?
Old school hippie chick here...I LOVE your playing! Your fingers are so long that you make it look much easier to play than it is! And your right hand technique SLAPS!!
Charles seems to be one of those kids that really wanted to play piano but his parents forced him to play bass... Just look at how he is tapping the strings. It looks just like a pianist hitting the keys on a piano
Charles is actually a trained classical pianist. However, he graduated from the Berklee College of Music with bass as his main instrument.
Wow. Looks like we have 2 Sherlock Holmes here.
@@FilthAzura interesting! Didn’t knew it!
Nah he actually said in one of his videos. Once you've gone back a while you get to know the history a bit :)
@@FilthAzura uhhhhhhhhh
I was fcking laughing so hard when Davie said bye after Charles takes.. Lmao!
That bassline by Charles is extremely difficult. I am trying to play it on a 6 string bass. I have practiced 69 hours and only managed to get through the first half of the tapping part.
Maybe I have to practice 420 hours now.
Anyway that bassline was gool and hafficult
You might wanna check your bass tuning too I guess.

You're awesome dude! You're monotone delivery cracks me up
you rocked Charles' bass line, but you gotta admit, he has crazy bass skills!
Slapp vs tapp king??
This is one of the best things I’ve seen. I couldn’t stop grinning at your quick cuts and mock serious expressions. Of course, your playing is epic. You checkmated me with this one. I am officially retiring my bass after this. I have … no chance.
Davie in 2019: USD Dollars of USA
Davie in 2020: Toilet Dollars
And you got a heart :O
The legend himself has given me a heart 🙏
I will SLAP my cello for you in the future Davie.
C e l l o ?
I like how he had enough fun with #6 that he didnt even checkmate, he hit em with the 'NICE.'
Nobody:
Davie: slap like or I will destroy your toilet
Me: Immediately slaped like and checked the toilet... Relieved that it is not broken
Plot twist:his toilet is broken but he is lying

Davie: We don't do that here.
Davie last year: This is the LAST time I'm EVER going on fiver
Davie now: So we're going on fiver
I like the end 🤣 yeah just found the last guys videos and he's insane. You're very very good too!
Who's here after Charles released his full version?
I had already seen this video, but I came back to see who's posting about his video. 😁
Again.
Me
Where can I find that video?
Bruh i'm looking for the full version
I believe it's totally fair to say that Charles is best bass tapper and Davie is the best bass slapper, and Charles has made that part of his identity, in a way that doesn't feel like he's trying to take any of Davie's thunder, but rather to spread the joy of bass throughout UA-cam. I find them both a joy to listen to in their own way
