Johnny’s the most grounded and refined representation of a what a Christian should be in my opinion. He has a testimony that’s undeniable and shows the routes humans are capable of taking with a lack of love in an abusive household. The forgiveness he shared about in his testimony reconciling with his father is tear worthy. He’s who a lot of young men need to aspire to act like! He’s at peace with himself through Christ and it shows. He’s a rare breed

He does show the true heart but that is where a lot of Christian’s get it wrong. We are actually supposed to judge and hold each other accountable. I know how he was meaning what he said but I do wish that he would have had a chance to dive in deeper or at least give the explanation of why we are to judge. Most people will get mad that I said that but we are to judge the outward appearance of what a Christian should be doing. We are not to judge someone’s heart which is God’s job. People will say that I’m a judgmental bible thumper when that is not the case. They do not understand what I am saying.

We see why sin has separated so many from Christ and it’s important that true believers meet non believers where they are to understand their hurt/confusion/pain etc. so that they can have true healing in Christ. Grace and patience must be heavily equipped when these conversations take place.
