12:52 Police violence is blown out of proportion
21:52 Committing a crime is never justified
33:51 Criminals who commit violent felonies don't deserve certain legal rights

So what are your thoughts on this prompt: Police violence is blown out of proportion. Let us know your thoughts down below 👇
It isn’t blown out. But this entire episode was both entertaining but felt VERY one sided.
It should not have been Cops vs. Criminals. It should’ve just been Cops vs. Citizens. Both these groups are going to have an obvious bias towards the other. Also, it’s more likely that the criminals will be less educated while the cops are more likely to be educated to a certain degree. The only ones I enjoyed from that side was Donna and Bonnie.
No, it's not blown out of proportion. Their purpose should be to keep people safe and be role models. Instead, when they commit violence they get protected, fired and re-employed at other departments, and on and on.
As it stands now, their job is to lie, intimidate people into compliance, and run a razor thin line on the side of legality. Their job is, by definition, violence. And when they cross that line into illegal behavior, they should be humiliated and hung out to dry. Not protected.
Media corporations get huge amounts of money from over reporting and over dramatizing many issues, police violence being one of them. It’s as simple as that
yes and no. I can only speak of the things i see in Media since im from Germany and we dont have such Problems. I know many Europeans say that but: Its the Guns fault. Police has to be armed because every citizen can be aswell. How often have you done things like cussing at a loved one because youre in a bad mood? Its the same just aggrevated to way higher level. If you had no Guns you would have not that level of threat that criminals bring. Someone robs a cornerstore with a knife is way easier to take control of than a robber with a Gun. So Yes and No. Police is mad because colleagues getting murdered left and right but so are the communities if a loved one getting killed because some cop has a trigger finger. This chain of violence will not stop if the weapons are so easy to come by-
Criminals need to take accountability and bad cops need to be held accountable. Period

what is the probability that #1 there is a civilian or multiple civilians with a gun, #2 he has the balls and the weapon capable of neutralizing the threat and #3 he has the training required to take this threat out without any collateral damage? I agree a lot police departments have handled similar situations horribly, but I still think the odds of ending these type of situations with the least number of casualties is higher when the police show up. Lets get out of emotions and try to rationalize this and rely more on data
True that was something he clearly didn't consider
Yeah, I get the point he was trying to make. Cops obviously need to be armed around dangerous individuals, but such a bad example to use.
Charlie is.... something. "If my daughter gets kidnapped, I'm not calling the police. I'm going to try to find her myself." As a daughter, please, dads, call the police if we get kidnapped.

After hearing Charlie talk about the car scenario, I'm convinced that all his local cops know him and his history
They probably popped popcorn and had a watch party at the station to hear Charlie finally get his shot to say his piece.
the havaiian girl also
My town has a family called the Seelingers. Meth family, domestic abuse, theft, assault. They’re known for causing trouble and being all around unrepentant and violent. No one I know has any sympathy for them. With a criminal record as long as that family’s, it’s hard to even want to have sympathy.
my guess is that he is a habitual law breaker who is in the station every week based on his behavior and context from what he said
The fact he absolutely refused to let the cop say anything shows there will never be a interaction that would be non confrontational.
Charlie is a prime example of what nonsense cops deal with.
Charlie is almost certainly guilty and triggered. Who wants to bet when he was stopped by a cop it was because he had committed a crime?
I don’t get it.
Charlie has been brainwashed over time. It's easy to see. You can tell him that he has been programmed.

Charlie is a clown . He’s probably the type to have a gun while telling the cops not to have a gun.
Charlie is extremely unintelligent, and shows how frustrating he is. He just admitted he didn’t serve that much time as the others. I understand how you think cops are all bad people and I used to think that. I’m a criminal Justice major to become a detective and I believe that not all cops are bad. I used to not believe that. They have their own stories, they have their own opinions about cops but if love for these “felons” to actually sit down and have a long conversation with a cop. Truly.

@@dani09eveline yea confusion is not what he said, beloved. Replay that part.
Alot of the questions are filmed out of order so you may be wrong
@@turnbasedtoddy7664 I don't think it necessarily matters what order they filmed... the fact of the matter is that AT SOME POINT... Scar was irritated with the questions and how the conversations were being moderated. Plus, I don't even believe that it was actually filmed out of order and you're just saying how you think EVERY production operates. The types of questions that were asked and the order that they are in make PERFECT sense as to why they would have actually asked them in the order that they are in the video. Plus, if you really pay attention, there are a lot of moments that people bring up ideas that were spoken about in previous prompts. For example... the fact that they kept bringing up the women having been sexually assaulted. If the prompts were in a different order, they wouldn't have known that the women had those experiences or brought them up later in the video if they were out of order.
Not to mention... they wouldn't have even PUT that clip of him saying he didn't want to continue if it wasn't being filmed in progressive order of the video. What would be the point?
As an ex Police officer from the UK who only carried a taser. I didn't feel like I needed a firearm, as we have specialised units and back up was very close. However, If I had worked in America, 100% I would require a firearm. As a Korean living in the states, ex convicts not wanting cops to handle firearm using other countries where cops do not carry guns while respecting 2nd amendments baffles me. Yes, cops from my home country does not carry firearms but that is because we DO NOT have firearm incidents. However, in the states cops do not have that luxury.
For real. We've had school shootings 28 times out of the 36 weeks we've had this year. Prohibiting cops from lethal force against someone actively firing with thousands of targets is insanity. I've had 2 friends this year who've been in school shootings and they're alive because of cops with firearms.
Thats why America needs to implement strict gun laws.
"You need guns to combat guns" then get rid of the guns and you won't have that problem. The most popular argument against this (the black market) is silly as the black market exists all over the world and yet somehow there are no where near as many school shootings anywhere else in the western world than America, where guns seem to be basically handed out to its citizens. Why are there so many mass shootings?
Cops in S. Korea do carry guns. They carry modified .38 revolvers. But are not as equipped as American Police officers.
@@rickmin3566 They are allowed to but most of the times they do not except for the special occasions.

No, I enjoy the unfiltered discussions being taken. Middle ground used to be heavily edited, people have requested for this as it's counter-intuitive to edit/intervene in a discussion meant to show both sides.
I agree. If you, as a youtube channel, put together these debates, you have the responsibility to manage when someone interrupts someone else to the point where they cannot get their thoughts across. The overtalking by everyone,
NEEDS a 3rd party to referee things unbiasedly.
Charlie the guest was overtalking more than anyone, as well as others to varying degrees too, BUT there is little to almost ZERO proactive mediation evidence by the Jubilee show “Host” to keep things on track, except when things are ALREADY getting out of hand.
The Jubilee Host needs,
the skills to verbally quell tensions BEFORE they get out of hand, recognize the Triggering behaviours on both sides that can naturally and justifiably come out of escalating situations such as these very polarizing talk shows/discussions.
Jubilee NEEDS more,
than just some host-Director and a camera person only asking the main questions and then being absolutely silent to watch things head into train wreck breakdowns in everything.
The Jubilee “Host” was weak,
in acting many times during this episode BEFORE things headed into more volitile situations and seemed to be just letting everything escalate just for “TV Show entertainment DRAMA”, like this show tends to do all too often, for clicks/views/Likes, etc.
WEAK administration by Jubilee,
in effectively handling BOTH sides when there clearly needed the 3rd party host acting as the “IMPARTIAL” mediator to step in to communicate things back on track from side tangents, or set the grounds rules of respectful and balanced talk/listen, question/answer type discourse.
“Jubilee,
don’t let this haphazard Hosting continue without a proper interviewer/supportive counselor or communications specialist to be there to intervene at a moments notice if need be. “
A future physical disruption,
where a guest or someone SNAPS on another, or the group, staff, or whatever will eventually grow out of these WEAKLY mediated episodes as unfortunate as that would be.
Just because the cameras filming are rolling, don’t think nothing will happen, that is unwise thinking or preparation…

At around 29:50 when Marlon is trying to explain what he would have done Charlie keeps interrupting him, talking over him, and generally being disrespectful. Charlie was able to go through his whole broke-down car, flat tire scenario but wouldn't even let Marlon respond. Jubilee needs to do a better job of allowing the other side to respond. Respect goes both ways regardless of who you are talking to.
I'm sure his interactions went the same way with the cops he encountered on the streets, too.
Their attitudes obviously led them in to their incarceration.

The guy wouldn't let anyone else talk. I'm surprised the moderator didn't step in when he got heated
Charlie’s response to the policing prompt is telling. He’s someone that doesn’t want to be held accountable for any of his actions. Simply put: he doesn’t like being told what to do.
He has a reason to feel the way he does. He’s Hispanic. They’re the second largest ethnic group of people (aside from black folks) to be profiled and harassed by cops, especially in places like Texas, Cali and NYC
I found it interesting that the convicts say they judge all cops with the same mistrust as they have learned from previous encounters while also thinking no cop should judge any of them with the same mistrust they have learned from previous encounters.

Listening to Charlie speak, constantly interrupt and be disrespectful makes me want to bash my head into a wall. Scar and Charlie both have very similar views, but scar goes about it respectfully, while Charlie just channels his immaturity and just plays the blame game. We need the police but we also need to hold them all accountable.
Jubilee encouraged this. This guy kept talking over the cop the whole time no one did anything, then one of the ladies were saying how he should have more patience when this guy is CONSTANTLY talking over him in a debate and not even letting him speak. THEN they let him spew a whole essay and whenever the cop tries to even interject the host tells him hold on and then they dont even show his opinion and move onto the next slide. This is ridiculous and unfair when this is supposed to be midddle ground. The cop literally had to ask them to step in and when they did they stepped in to silence the cop!
I didn’t like the Jubilee only had questions that were centered around the cops but not around the ex-convicts. It made the whole video seem like they were bashing on the cops. I agree with some of the criminal but they aren’t innocent in the blame game

when bonnie said her crime was not justifiable about 26 minutes in. I got major respect for that woman because it sounds like she took 100% responsibility for her actions and did not justify them. from what I can tell, she was a drug dealer, and she did it because she was hungry, but she was taking accountability for it knowing there was another way for her to make that money and that she didn't have to be a drug dealer. but then the cops go on and try to justify the crimes for her, yeah, they said they would still punish her, but it sounds like the cops do more mental gymnastics to justify crimes than Bonnie, the convicted felon. She 100 % took accountability and didn't make excuses for herself. What a Woman!!!
