- Picked up this super nice two day trip when it came into open time. Just one leg as day one as a passenger to DCA then a super early wake up call at 3am to fly DCA-CLT-JFK. I was back in New York by 9:30am!

Garrett, I say screw those pesky naysayers. Just do you. You are awesome! Love your content.
Been wondering about arm tattoos. Seeing the long sleeve finally is good news. Haven’t seen any pilot with long sleeves lately so was getting worried. Haha
Sehr Beeindruckend
Intermittent fasting is likely a challenge with the ‘turbulent’ schedule of a commercial airline pilot, but that could give you that much more flexibility.
❤Garrettku jsi nádherný a nejlepší pilot❤chytrý ❤krasavec

I think my easiest trip was a deadhead LAX-LAS to fly one leg LAS-LAX. Two days of pay for about 45 minutes of work 😁

Rocking a VC&A bracelet!
I travel internationally a lot. Is a flight from jfk direct to Rome an easy peasy flight?
Hi Garret. I been watching since you started this channel. I want to get my pilot license. What is best way to start for ground training?

What is the shade of your upper front teeth? is it bl1, bl2 or bl3? Thanks
Hello, what is the name of the app or the website of that app that you have on the tablet that shows a flight plan. To me it looks great and I would like to know for my aviation school. thank you. 🙌🏻
😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️
Do most airline pilots get lasik?
you are in NYC. its 10 minutes walking and 1 hour driving to get to her place.
Dope dude. Nice to see you enjoying the life! I can’t wait to make to atp
I have two questions.
1. Do you have to be good at advanced math such as calculus to become an airline pilot?
2. Is college required to become an airline pilot?
Thanks!
1. Nope not at all! Just simple math calculations for things like fuel burn and weight and balance.
2. No, Part 121 operations (Airlines) no longer require a college degree!
@@NathanHopper Okay. Thanks for the info!

For some reason I was expecting your book to be the FAR/AIM manuel 😭

NEED ADVICE: Garrett i’m 16 years old and being an airline pilot has been my dream since i was 4 years old. I started looking into the cost a few months ago and found out it’s on average around $100k to go to flight school. How do you recon I combat this? I don’t have $100k laying around, and neither do my parents. Do I get a loan out for $100k and be in debt? Or should I go the military route? and how does that work to use military to pay for a fast track flight school? Does the military pay for aviation college tuitions? I’m really passionate about this career path and the lifestyle it holds. Please someone give me some insight on how I can combat the price of this beautiful career.
If you want the all expenses paid route, then yes military is a good option. You'll want to go through college in an ROTC program where you will be commissioned as an officer, and if the military needs pilots and you are competitive academically, you may be selected for a pilot slot. If you don't want to go the military route, it is possible to finance the flight school programs with student loans, you might be in debt for a bit, but with pilot salaries, you'll probably be able to pay that off if you budget correctly. Start working now and save as much as you can until then. Airlines don't necessarily require college degrees anymore, so if you just think of flight school as a really expensive college it might soften the blow mentally.
If you're young enough go the college route Embryo Riddle, UND, Aviator College (SE Florida) use the Financial Aid benefits that way you'll get a college degree (either AS or BS) also your flight training paid for.
Then you repay this when you're flying professionally.
Airline pilot here. I would look into the national guard (Air Force National Guard specifically). While they don’t pay for all of your flight training, they do pay for college tuition. And the guard is only a part time commitment so you only have to sacrifice one weekend a month after all of your military training. That is the route that I took. I got a $20,000 signing bonus with the guard. And receive about $1000 a month to go to school. Was able to graduate college with a BA degree and all my ratings needed to go to airlines. Guard paid for tuition, and I was able to cash flow 80% of my flight training. debt free now at 23 years old. If you have any questions feel free to reach out and I can talk more about it!!
@@boschweitzer1 Wow I didnt understand everything thast you said but I do know that Military route pays for tuition, does this apply to flight colleges??
@@GeeWillz269Yes it does. Some colleges have flight programs. They are called part 141 school. Go to google and search “part 141 flight schools near me” and I’m sure there will be one close to you. Military pays for your tuition. If you do active duty, (which I don’t suggest) then they also pay for your flight training. If you join the national guard, (which I do suggest that’s what I did) then they pay for tuition but not flight training. But the money you make in the military will allow you to pay for a good chuck of flight training out of pocket! Dm me if you want some guidance
Who decides what altitude to fly at and when is that decided?
Dispatch typically, though it's a mix of factors such as winds, fuel economy, ATC (other traffic)
Are u a commercial pilot or airline pilot ❤
I hope become a Pilot like you
