This is the most complete Emirates vlog I have seen so far. I have been thinking of going to an open day but I'm still not fully convinced so this is very helpful
Thanks so much! I loved making it! What are you tossing up between? I always start with a pros and cons list when I’m trying to make a decision I’m really torn about 💕
@@Amanda_kingxxIf I become a cabin crew, will all my coworkers be as charming and beautiful as you? I was seriously depressed for days when I saw your vlog with your partner/bf
@@mike48084you’re a weirdo if that’s the only reason you’d consider this job.
Stop thinking about it…just do
It's not easy to get in, I tried 3 times and got rejected 3 times as well. You have nothing to lose just give it a shot, maybe you'll have better luck than I did...
Heathrow Express is a tourist trap! Elizabeth Line or Undergound. The Elizbaeth Line goes directly to Paddington too, just 10 minutes slower but a quarter of the price.
Take a taxi. Subways are terrible if you have a substantial suitcase.
I’ve heard this! Definitely next time I’m in London!! Thank you ❤
I have watched other travel vlogs from flight attendants but I am extremely impressed by the detail of this one as well as the immense prep work in packing!! I also appreciate that you explained some of your "bucket points" so we, as the viewers, know what your objectives are. Great video and thank you so much!!!
Thanks so much Tom! I’ll make sure to keep up the same amount of detail 🙌🏼 appreciate the support so much
hello I want to fly with emirates@@Amanda_kingxx
Sister plzzzz 😢
I just like the way how organised and how clean you keep your stuffs post flight , shows your self discipline and loved the detailed video of your layover ❤️
Thanks so much! I like feeling organised where I can! Appreciate the love and support 🫶
The just natural and spontaneous way she promotes being vegan is the icing of the cake of such great personality. I love 😍
Thank you so so much Remigio! Can’t wait to make more videos and I hope all my subscribers and viewers have the same energy I feel from you ❤
I love how detailed this flight attendant vlog is!
Thanks so much! I’m so glad you loved it! 🫶
That would be Buckingham Palace not Kensington 😊
Trust me, don’t ask me how I messed that up in my voice over 😅😂
Now this is the first ever cabin crew vlog I have watched & it was awesome!!!
While watching and listening to your commentary I realised just how hectic the hours must be. On top of that filming for various social media platforms just makes me appreciate the effort even more.
Not mundane neither too flashy just the perfect harmony
Great job!!! 🍔👍🏻
I appreciate this so much!! I think a lot of people don’t take into account how much time and energy it takes to manage social media content on top of flying full time! ❤
Dear Amanda,
I‘ve never watched a vlog like yours before. It was so interesting! You seem like such a kind and down to earth person (when you are not up in the air). Thank you for sharing your life with us. And I love that you tasted all these vegan foods. Stay safe on your trips and take care!
Great videos! And you describe everything amazingly and don’t sound boring.
If you want to go to a Christmas market in Germany I have some tips for you:
1) wait until it is dark. At daylight the mood is not right
2) if you can, Pick a day where it is cold. Glühwein does not Taste right, when it is too warm. If you like the cup in which the Glühwein is served, you can take it home
3) wear some REALLY WARM clothes (hat, gloves, scharf, warm trousers, shoes with warm Inlays, warm jacket) and maybe take a warm footbath or shower afterwards. It is really easy to catch a cold there
4) do not go at the weekend if you like being able to move freely
5) Pick one in the old part of town. For instance the Christmas market in Frankfurt at the Römer is pretty nice. The market in Munich at the Marienplatz is pretty big (and really easy to reach with public transport) but to me something was missing there
6) take Cash. Most vendors do not accept debit or Credit cards for smaller purchases
7) imo some of the smaller Christmas markets are actually better, but they are difficult to reach without a car
Thank you so much for the time you took to tell me all these tips! This is so awesome!! Keeping all this for next Christmas 😍
As an Indian last year I’ve been to London to its an EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! your so lucky you’ve been there I’m back here and I miss it now 😢 and happy journey amanda!😊
If you show your ID pass to the bus driver it's £1.20 each way on the bus, from the hotel to the terminal. If you approach a member of the Heathrow Express staff in T5, they will sell you a return journey on the Heathrow express at 75% discount. This is airline staff rate discount applicable to all airline staff. You can get from the hotel to Paddington (Central London) for less than £14.00
This hack is unreal!! Thank you so much 😍
I think cabin crews are awesome Amanda they're some of my most favourite people on the planet I've had amazing experiences with them because of my autism they've treated me really nice I view them as superheroes thank you for everything you do
Thank you so much ❤ that’s so, so lovely to hear! I always hope to leave every person I meet with the same feeling you have experienced❤
It's really common in the UK to have showers over the baths, in hotels and houses. I actually never knew other countries don't do the same.
Agree. I probably use mine as a bath 50% of the time.
I also have heard that families with small children appreciate bathtubs since little kids usually don’t take showers.
We have shower baths in Aus and in UAE as well! Actually have one at home myself in Dubai, but maybe that’s why it annoys me! 😂 but I definitely see the usefulness especially with kids ❤
I came across your channel looking for information for my upcoming London trip, but I subscribed because I really like the way you vlog. You are informative and I enjoyed your content in this, so I am off to look at what else you have!
Aw this is so wholesome! Thank you so much! I’ll be making more and more vlogs for sure 🫶
@@Amanda_kingxx This is your best detailed vlog I have ever watched. I wish I could like it twice❤. Kindly keep it up this way🎉❤
Awesome vlog, a natural at speaking/editing etc!
Thank you so much 🫶
Well done. Great little showcase for your 1st time to London.
Love this!! Quality is really good ❤
Thank you!! 😍
this video is gorgeous!! Thank you very much for sharing all moments and such great explanations
Thank you so much for the love and support! So glad you loved it all ❤
I'm amazed at how detailed this video is, I've really enjoyed it
Thank you so much 🫶
@@Amanda_kingxx you're always welcome.. Continue giving us great content
In New Zealand we refer to those bath / shower setups a shub (a mix of the words ‘shower’ and ‘tub’) and yes, they are so silly! I think maybe in the 70’s and 80’s they were a thing, but we’d never put one in in 2024! 😆
I never knew this! But I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks they’re silly 😂
Top tip for next time - avoid wasting money on the Heathrow express. It’s the biggest con ever! Just use a contactless card to get the Elizabeth line (and it will go towards your daily travel cap)!
Pro tip heathrow express offers a 75% crew discount. You just need an id with you😊
Ahhhh see some of the other crew did the Elizabeth line, but I swear it said it took soo much longer so I wanted to really try and make the most of my time 😭
@@Domdodomthis is crazy! How didn’t I know about this
@@Amanda_kingxx yeah its £9.25 for a return ticket. I usually take that as its much faster.👍🏻
@@Domdodom Yess, i used to work there and they do discounts for crew and for staff haha!
G’Day Amanda 🎉 This is the best Emirates cabin crew I’ve ever seen in my life. Well done, sweetie. I’m really happy to see such a positive person flying the world. You are an ideal person & someone to look up to in an inspirational way. Keep going, and I hope to see you one day as a purser or a recruiter. 🎥
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! I appreciate this so much! Where ever my future may lead, I’ll keep the same positivity and love for what I do and this amazing thing we get to call life ❤
You have this amazing aura that draws people in. Can't resist hitting the like button!
Thank you so much!! 🥺
Well-crafted video, Amanda. Surprised that London isn't a more popular layover with the Emirates crews.
Trust me i enjoyed this whole vlog. U are a pro vlogger. I had zero minute to watch cz i was so sleeply but you made me watch the whole video. Keep it up girl. And BTW welcome to England😍🫶🏼
Thank you so much for all this love and support! Excited to get more vlogs out for you 🫶
You gain a new subscriber here !!!! Love it ❤
Thanks so much 😍
I love your vlogs sm ❤❤❤
Thanks so much ❤
Welcome to The UK, crazy that Emirates staff feel this way about our country, yes it is cold but there is amazing things to do and visit here!
Thank you!! I would actually go back in a heart beat! I think it’s mostly disliked because of how tough the flight time is and where the hotel is to be able to go into the city to explore after being so exhausted 😥
Amazing vlog 😊
Enjoyed watching this vlog ❤
So glad you liked it! I’ll keep ‘em coming 🙌🏼
Looks like you really enjoyed London, for sure a place i'd like to see. Really nice video to be honest. Everything was put together really well to make this video. When I see crew vlogs, It inspires me.
I’m so glad you liked it! London was very cool and would definitely recommend 🫶 thank you for the support! I hope you follow those aspirations 😍
WOW what a great video. First time viewer but I'm subscribed now. Thanks for taking us along on this wonderful journey! Travel safe my friend
Thanks so much for the kind words and support! 🫶
Love this vlog 😍❤
Thanks so much for the love 🫶
I love your videos need more videos like this!!
Thank you!! I’ll be making more very soon 😍
I agree with you Amanda- I too dislike bath showers in a hotel room it's a bit old fashion! And I also like a mini fridge in my hotel room! Keep posting your videos I am a big fan!
Glad I’m not the only one 😂 and thank you so much! I’ll keep them coming ❤
This video is amazing and it made me more exited to be cabin crew
G'day mate. Yeah good stuff! Use an Oyster card or your phone on the tube. Oyster daily cap charge is £8.10 in zones 1 and 2. That was 'Buck House', (as we Aussies call it) aka Buckingham Palace. Kensington Palace is a different one. Enjoy the cold weather we have here in Pommie Land!😄
Oh man I wish I knew all this stuff before my expensive trip! But next time! Also thank you for picking up on it, I honestly can’t believe I messed that up 😂 I totally knew it was Buckingham palace but voice over Amanda was having a moment 😅
Interesting 🤨 honestly you did a good video on your layover .. you make me miss London 😘😘😘😘😘
Thanks so much! It was a fun first time in London! I’m sure I’ll be going back
Great video vlog, dear. Hopefully you will hit 100K immediately ❤
Thank you so much 🥺
a really great vlog amanda and i’m glad you’ve came to my country 🇬🇧! I work at one of emirates’ route’s ‘Birmingham (BHX)’ and i always love working with the emirates flights. I can’t lie whenever i speak to emirates crew i do always ask about you and if you’re on the flight.
This is so sweet! I’ve never been to Birmingham! Maybe someday in the future! Appreciate the love and supported all the way from your awesome country! 🇬🇧
I will definitely rewatch it many times
So glad you loved it 🥺
Amazing video! you look so pretty
Thank you so much!! Love right back at you from Dubai 🫶
One of a kind video..Enjoyed every second.🙂
Thanks so much for the support! 🫶
welcome to UK. Enjoy the beautiful places here
Thanks so much Shansyl 🫶
Pro tip - get the elizabeth line into central london, it is cheaper, yet takes roughly the same time.
Ahhh some of the other crew took this one! But I heard it took way longer so I didn’t wanna waste time 😭
Heyy amanda! Love to see ur vlogs please can u make a video on ur skincare and what products do u used for it..❤️
Absolutely I can! I’ll get one out soon ❤
great content. love the trip report in London.
Thank you for the support and kind words 🙏🏼
more of this kind of contents. amazing very comprehensive
Shower baths are perfect in my opinion (I'm from uk) I love showers and my OH loves baths. We get the best of both lol x
I do agree that they are a genius invention when you think about it! 🫶
Liked and subscribed ! When i was BA Crew we used to get like a 90% discount on the Heathrow Express so it might be worth asking about crew discount x
Thank you !! Can’t believe I never knew this 😅❤️
Yeh, think it used to be around £10 return ! X
Im going to be a pilot for emirates, so see you soon 😂🫡
This is the best ever, you did a great job. I hope to fly Emirates A380 one day soon. Keep up the great work.
Thanks so much! Keep chasing and I’ll see you in the sky’s soon 🫶
Your vlog is very fabulous ❤
Thanks so much Reman! 🫶
Shower baths very common in Uk, always spent childhood and growing up with them! I never knew any different until I went to Dubai and saw they're separate. Also first time seeing a lavatory with a shower head to the side. Many bathroom differences In the UAE.
You know what’s crazy! I actually have a shower bath in my apartment here in Dubai 😅 maybe that’s why I don’t like them! I feel like I’m gonna slip every time I shower 🥲
Thx for the report it is good to see!
Thank you for the comment and support 🙌🏼
Fantastic and most interesting vlog. Thanks so much. What a lovely person. I wish you every happiness.
Thanks so much for the love and support! Wishing you the same happiness 🫶
Hello, great video love it! I‘m also Cabin Crew and I have a little hint for you about the Heathrow Express: Before you get to the train there is a stand where they sell the tickets. If you show them your Crew ID a ticket only costs 10 dollar. :)
Thank you so much for the love and the tips! I’ll be using this next time I’m in London ❤
omg ma’am this is cool, thank you so much. love!
Thank you so much 🥺🫶
What a fab report ! Subscribed 🎉
Thank you!! 😍🫶
Tips from a crew to another crew. You can take Elizabeth line from Hayes& harlington straight to city center. Much cheaper and fast also. But if you going to use Heathrow express again. Tell the heathrow express staff that you are crew/airport staff. They ll asked you to show the ID, and they ll let you buy ticket with a huge discount.
Thanks so much! I’ll be using this tip for sure next time I’m there 😍
Thanks for this vlog. Fly and travel healthy. Cheers.
Thanks so much! Same to you 🙌🏼
4:33 I understand your point, but as a touring musician for over 35 years, I enjoy a shower/bath. The reason being is that I love baths and will even take my own Ajax cleanser and scouring pad with me, to do so. I’d certainly never take a bath in a tub I myself haven’t scrubbed clean to perfection!
I appreciate this comment so much! I’m so glad there are people out there that love them! Least someone can enjoy them 🫶😍
Bravo👍! The editing, music, nitty gritty details and honest opinions. Wonderful vlog. Thanks Amanda! …….. 👉Advice from a London tourist, pay contactless for the tube using the same device (like Apple Pay), or Oyster card to benefit from daily caps. From Heathrow’s Liz line to central London will be enough to cap the rest of your travel for the day on the tube🤘 (excluding that ripoff express, which doesn’t add to the cap).
Thanks so much for the love on the video! I do put a lot of effort in to every part of it 🥺❤
I’ve actually heard this! I guess these are the trials and errors of travelling! Next time I’m in London I’ll be using this advice for sure 🫶
I used to work as a ticketing staff in Lahore and Ajman in Emirates. You reminded me of my beautiful Emirates Airlines uniform. Means how we Care.
Glad I could bring back such lovely memories! 🫶 thank you for the love and support as well!
From working in a hotel, families would sometimes want the shower baths because their young kids take baths !
This video is So Good! IM SUBSCRIBING!
Thank you so much!!! 😍
Amazing vlog😊😊😊
Thanks so much ❤
Next time your in London, Go to Michael Rose Jewelers. Very fancy but I’m sure you’d love it! I go every time. ❤
Tip: next time take the tube /underground from Heathrow rather than Heathrow express, much cheaper and quicker.
In Canada we have shower baths. That wasn't Kensington Palace that was Buckingham Palace.. In London I had fish and chips.
We want more vlogs like this ❤️❤️😍
Coming at you soon 😍
I live and work in Manchester England and quite regularly I see staff of one of your rival airlines from the same part of the world as I walk across the city... "Enjoying" the Manchester weather while waiting for the bus back to the airport, I always feel so bad for them, because heavy coat withstanding... and they all look quite lovely in them... They really don't seem to be enjoying the experience much!!
It's a lovely video hope you enjoyed london
I did! Thank you for the love and support 🫶
Thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks for watching Chelsea! 💕
Luckily I found the best flight attendant you tube channel😍honestly the video was 10/10
Thanks so much for the love and support 😍
Hi there Amanda! Your channel just suddenly pop up in my timeline and now I'm starting to watch it. I love your content, so far I watched of your 2 videos, I'm just curious, what camera are you using, so clear and so good to watch ❤ New subscribers here from Jordan ❤
Thanks so much Salma! 😍 I hope you’re loving my content still! I actually use my IPHONE! It’s just so easy and so conspicuous 😌 I have an iPhone 15 pro max! Much love right back at you from Dubai ❤
Showers in baths are pretty common in UK, due to the size of the houses, where space is limited. It's a cultural thing but silly for new hotels to do. Don't use the Heathrow Express, just use Elizabeth Line, faster than Piccadilly Line, but cheaper than HEX. Although as crew, time is critical so can't blame you for using it. 9:47 - that's Buckingham Palace, not Kensington Palace ;) Kensington is at the Western end of Hyde Park. The King & Queen actually live in Clarence House, which is 1/4 of the way down The Mall (the famous road with flags leading up to Buckingham Palace). It's also right next to St James' Palace - which is where the Accession Council announced King Charles.
There are LOADS of FREE viewing platforms around London, especially further to the east. The Shard, Horizon 22 (which despite the building being a little bit shorter than the Shard, the viewing platform is higher). Something to think about when you come back next time!
Thanks so much for such a detailed comment 😍 this is so awesome! I’ve heard it’s common for shower baths in the UK, I actually have one in my apartment in Dubai! I think that’s why I’m sick of them 😂
I’ll be changing my travel plans for next time I’m in London and using the Elizabeth line and checking out these platforms! Thanks again for all the insight and tips 🫶
Amanda you have a new subscriber ❤
Nice London vlog love your channel
Thanks so much! 🫶
You’re so so beautiful !Thanks for your video! I also want to become a cabin crew! I will keep going!

The way you ate that burger 😂
Great Vlog…❤
Thank you 🙏🏼
The Emirates cabin crew have their own great unique style - Pristine, Very Smart, Very Elegant.
Did your London tour live up to all expectations ? Central London is far to busy and far to expensive for my liking, that said .. my partner and myself have had some great days and Weekends in London.
Thank you for giving a brief insight of the Emirates cabin crew.
🇬🇧
Beautiful vlog
Thank you Mariam ❤
Awesome Video
it's so good 🤗
Thanks so much! 🫶
Next time you visit London be sure to try Neat Burgers (they don’t only do burgers, the salads are good too) and Mildred’s is great for vegan food too! ❤
I actually just tried this in Dubai!!! It’s amazing!!!
@@Amanda_kingxx So pleased you liked it! 💕
Next time consider Elisabeth Line and get to Bond Street tube station, central London , cheaper providing it’s running,
Footage quality is stunning
Thank you so much! 😍
