Im brand new to fuel injection so Dumb question time my timing is 36 degrees i set the crank trigger there. So do i still set the crank to 195 degrees to set the cam sync then.
While this video is helpful, digital rising and digital falling are described opposite of each other. Digital rising occurs on first edge of the magnet and digital falling as it passes over and falls off the edge of the magnet. Based on this video description, we struggled to get a Holley Dominator system timed correctly for many months which included switching from a 4 magnet setup to a higher resolution 12-1 magnet setup. Now it runs perfect.
Yes that’s exactly what I noticed after watching the videos over and over and not being able to start the car, so can i put both options to digital falling?
Can this cam sync be used with a holley EFI system?
So if the flying magnet sensor is mounted to the right of the crank and not too the left is the calculation be say. 80-a+45 ? = 55
So after installing like this does it matter where the Cam Signal happens? Meaning if you log your cam/crank signal after installing it like this the cam signal will typically occur during one of the 365 deg crank signals rotation or do you want to keep adjusting it until the Cam signal occur between the "2" 365 deg crank signals?
If you have a Holley EFI system it needs to happen 135* before the number one cylinder fires. -R
Which degree BTDC is correct? 195* BTDC which is displayed in the formula or 135* BTDC which you verbally say? Thanks
195* is correct - 135* is minus the ignition reference angle (60*)
