I agree she did take a long time to explain it I just found it a little to fast for me I kept replaying the video and finally got it. Im now making it. Thank you so very much I love it.
The tip on keeping the chain from twisting is brilliant. I nearly gave up on the first row because of the yarn and the difficulty seeing and counting the skipped stitches. I’m now several rows in and am glad I stuck with it. Thanks for the beautiful pattern.
This is n Awesome Pattern!...We love ponchos!...iv made 11 since August n this is for sure one of the BEST patterns ever! Thank You for Sharing, Tonya! ❤️👍👏❤️
very beautiful..!! I love ponchos and shawl in a ball is my favorite yarn..!!..made many shawls & 1 poncho. so I'm very exited to see this beautiful poncho pattern..I've 2 balls in my stash..was waiting for something new..this would be very pretty..!!..thank you so much for sharing...!!
You could absolutely try this with a lighter weight yarn. At the beginning you just want to make sure that the hole will go over your head. I might even recommend trying the pattern instructions for the larger size and see how that goes. I hope that helps! 🌸😊
So glad you like it Amy! I am happy to help - I designed the shawl with this stitch pattern and you can find the free written pattern for it here: nanascraftyhome.com/candy-kisses-triangle-scarf-free-crochet-pattern/ here is the video tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/ieny1gechAY/v-deo.html Enjoy!
So glad you like this poncho! You could certainly try it with a bulky weight yarn - I haven't tried it myself. Homespun recommends a size K (6.5 mm) hook but I would try it with a hook at least 2 times larger - maybe even a size 9 mm in order to give it a little more drape. Try a few rows and see how you like it. Let me know how it goes! 🌸💕
Are you counting the beginning ch 4 + dc as the first V-st? If you continue to have problems send me an email at nanascraftyhome@gmail.com with a close up photo and I can help further. 🌸💕
Love this pattern! I have a question: if I’m adding 16 to the starting chains, 2 multiples of 8, how many vstitches will be between each corner stitch On the first row?
So sorry you weren't able to locate the pattern on my website. Here is a link to the free pattern: nanascraftyhome.com/midnight-madness-poncho-free-crochet-pattern/
Nereyda Holland thank you for that feedback and I am so sorry you had problems with seeing the stitches as I worked them. If you would like to send me your email address to nanascraftyhome@gmail.com I can help with that.
Nereyda Holland I think it seemed fast because the yarn was flowing between her stitch work but she did it a thousand times to make sure we got it! It was paced just perfect considering the time she put into this tutorial.
Just made this yesterday. Spend the day start to finish. Love it 😍 thank you so much.
Wonderful! I am so happy you enjoyed making it! 💕🌸

Robin Logan thank you!
so pretty!! would this work with a light size 3 yarn? does anyone have suggestions for how to adapt it?

Kids size? What would you start chain be?😊
I love this pattern so much, but I don't want to make a poncho. I'm trying to figure out how I can modify this into a shawl instead.

@@nanascraftyhome Oh thank you so much! I tried to see if you had done a shawl with this stitch and couldn't find it. Thanks for the link!!
@@amydavis4945 You are so welcome - enjoy!
would this work with lION BRAND HOMESPUN WHICH IS A 5. tHEN WHAT SIZE HOOK WOULD YOU USE?

I've tried this twice, chain 72 but end up with 8 v stitches on one side and 7 v stitches on the other. What am I doing wrong?
Are you counting the beginning ch 4 + dc as the first V-st? If you continue to have problems send me an email at nanascraftyhome@gmail.com with a close up photo and I can help further. 🌸💕
Wish she would just give us , the multiple , so we can make any size we need
Love this pattern! I have a question: if I’m adding 16 to the starting chains, 2 multiples of 8, how many vstitches will be between each corner stitch On the first row?
2 V stitches
Couldn’t see where you dc on the v stitch
So how are we supposed know what your website is, I've looked all over and can't find it and I need to make a larger size

I loved the pattern but you were working the stiches so fast I just couldnt make out what you were doing. Specially the corner part of the poncho.
Nereyda Holland thank you for that feedback and I am so sorry you had problems with seeing the stitches as I worked them. If you would like to send me your email address to nanascraftyhome@gmail.com I can help with that.
I agree, too fast with the hook, very difficult to follow.

Maybe your "skills"aren't up to par. That sounds like the problem there. No need to cast blame on the designer.
Qué tal linda labor , pero a mí gusto hablas mucho
got it 90 % wrong
