I love this pattern!!! I have several colors of Carons Crystal Cakes yarn. This yarn works up beautifully!!!! I volunteer and foster with a non-profit ferret rescue. Am whipping several of these out to help raise funds. Thank you for sharing this pattern with us!💜💜💜
I recently finished my 2nd poncho using Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn in the colorway plum/berry. I just have to add the fringe. I got the yarn on clearance so it cost me less than $5 to make my Fall poncho. I love it! This pattern could be used to make a ponchette by shortening the length. I have also made a cardigan and 2 pocket shawls using your tutorials. All of your tutorials are very easy to follow. Your designs are so pretty. Thank you Pamela for sharing your God given talent with us❤
Those ponchos are just gorgeous , perfect accessory over a tank top for summer or a long sleeved shirt or dress for winter. I’m going to make me one. Blessings
Try using the back bump of your chain, makes a finished edge. Very nice poncho, I dislike ones with huge triangle flaps 😄 I will make this, thank you 🙂
Looks like easy pattern i am going to start tomorrow i hope but not sure how many chains to start with for over a year girl. Could you please explain for that over a year girls? Thanks
You could probably start with 74 and see how it goes. At the end you are going to SC around the neckline and you can add a few decreases to it if you need to.
Thank you for a poncho this beginner thinks she can do. I looked through some of the comments to see what size hooks you use for DK weight but didn’t see anything.
Pamela why does my foundation chain look wonky lol I used a bigger hook they say to do but then it looks horrible to much gap so then I will have to fo a single crochet to make it look decent do u have a secret and no I cannot do a row without a foundation roll to start ??
At the end you will go back and work a sc row over that chain and it will smooth it out nicely. You can also work your sc row in the back loop of your chain.
Love this poncho! Thank you for making it look so easy. 😊💖

Very nice 👍.
Nice. On my to do list. Thank you.
I would love to learn how to do that
That's a perfect poncho for the weather we are having here in Ohio. Thanks Pamela.💜 How's your grandbaby?💙
He’s doing great. Im with him right now. Thanks for asking.
I love the poncho. I do have a question. How many initial chains would you start out with for a 10 to 12 year old?
You could probably start with 74 and see how it goes. At the end you are going to SC around the neckline and you can add a few decreases to it if you need to.
@@PamelasAdoringCrochet thank you
Hello. Lovely ponchos. Did you use the same size hooks for the DK weight poncho?
Thank you for a poncho this beginner thinks she can do. I looked through some of the comments to see what size hooks you use for DK weight but didn’t see anything.
Try a hook size smaller or even the same size.
@@PamelasAdoringCrochet thank you😊

Lovely, can I use a 4pky yarn? Do I need more stitches?
Use can use a 4 weight and I believe it would be less rows.
@@PamelasAdoringCrochet 4 ply cotton is thinner so it will just be more rows? Not sure if I need more stitches because it’s so thin?
Sane amount of stitches should work. Just more rows and maybe go up a hook size.
so its like a huge round of 84 so no marker
What would stitch count be for a smaller size?
I'm not sure without redesigning the pattern. You can probably just go down a few hook sizes.
Hello: what size will this fit up to? I am looking at a 2X?? TYIA
This will fit all sizes. You just keep working your increase rows to desired width size.
No points ? Very simple pattern thank u
Thank you. No points ❤️
