Love your poncho presentation. Love your reading of the word of God. It was beautiful and right on time. May God continue to cover you with his grace, his strength and his mercy.❤❤❤❤❤
It looks beautiful on you and Crystal is a beautiful person and has wonderful tutorials. I started a knitting pattern last night for a shawl. I knit and crochet. If you like beautiful knitting The “knitting turnpike “ has beautiful knitting, I also enjoy the crazy sock lady. Lot’s of channels and I love ❤️ all of you, thank you for all you do.
Hello yes I love her bonchos her shawls oh my goodness her innocent show I make it all the time I love everything that she makes she is an amazing person and very very creative and she motivates me a lot God bless you your work is beautiful
Thank you so much for doing the work and showing us your results. I saw Crystal's Lacy Mint Poncho. I love her work, I have plenty of 3 weight yarn and wondering if it would work. Now I can envision mine better. Thank you for reading the prayer. A great reminder that life on Earth is temporary.
Beautiful poncho's you have made. I have made only one of the ponchos but plan on making more. I made mine from Red heart ombre yarn I love it. Bye for now.💕❤️💕
Thanks so much for helping me make up my mind regarding which shawl to make with the yarn I have. Going to use a 3 weight after just finishing up one using a 1 weight superfine cotton. So lovely! So nice to meet you as well!
I am new to your channel and I have to say that I must have needed to see this exact video at this moment. I like how you read a scripture at the end and the one from today was I believe meant for me to hear so I thank you. I also love all of your beautiful shawls. I need to get to work. 🥰 I love watching Crystal from bag o day as well. ❤️ hope you have a blessed day.
I also love BOD Sand Pebble Poncho when the tutorial first came out. My granddaughter loved it so much, I gifted it to her. Thanks for the encouragement, I will have to make this one. I want it with a capelet look. thank you for sharing!! blessings
Thank you for this comparison. Many crocheters are really hesitant about changing anything at all about a pattern, so this hopefully helps them. Me, I just do it. Trial and error until it works for me. Dear fellow crocheters (and knitters): Don‘t be afraid to make mistakes. Is it annoying or frustrating to unravel a failed experiment? Heck yeah. But I have frogged so many of my projects that made me unhappy that I grew thicker skin about it. It still hurts to destroy hours of work, but you will feel relieved after it‘s over. Promise. The projects I made with the reclaimed yarn were just sooo much more satisfying and I am happy that I did it. =)
Thank you for your advice. I totally agree. It’s worth doing it until you are happy with your work. I have found that I enjoyed the process of crocheting and don’t mind frogging things out like I use too.
I am making it a habit of reviewing every row I do. I have made this poncho about 8 times and almost every time that I get lazy and dont put stitch markers in the corners, I mess it up and have to usually tear out 2 rows. So now I never do this without a marker. Even if it takes going to another room o get them! Try this in Lions brand 24/7 cotton. It may seem a bit “cordy” but it works up nice for a summer poncho. I do realize your comment is 2 years old1
I Love Love Love Crystal from BagoDay, I have made practically everything she has put out within a year! I go back to her other stuff from before I watched and grab some from there as well! I also just did this poncho and I agree to put a marker at the corners because you get so wrapped up on the double and chain 3 that you go past the corner😂 love the purple one! Very pretty as is all of them
Love your lacy ponchos have checked out Bag o day crocheted poncho, just what i have been looking for!!! I had a trellis pattern for one, but that was for a rectangle made into a poncho, prefer this way!!! Love your friendly site and feel like you are sitting with me having a cuppa, ☕🍵🍰
Hi Pamela. Yes it is a 4 weight. I have some and have the perfect person to make it for. Thanks so much. All your ponchos are beautiful. Thanks to Crystal for the tutorial.
You do so great on your videos. I love to hear you talk you have that accent from up north. I am from Va. Love ya I watch Bag o day also. Thank you for the 365 days of prayer. I need that so bad.
I knew I loved that poncho, I am still a beginner and I don't quite understand how to do things in the round, c2c, or granny squares! My eyes seem to cross! Lol I do love B.O.D. Crochet, the ponchos are beautiful and I hope to be as talented!! Thank You for the pointer to use the stitch markers, maybe that will help my eyes from crossing!! Lol, I am really going to try again, I must make this!! I love it!! Thank You for showing and making them!! Beautiful 💜💐
That's one tutorial I used, I'm a total free hand crocheter and rarely follow tutorials, but that mint pancho is so beautiful. I need to make more of them, I'll be like you soon.
Thanks for the spiritual inspiration. On another subject, in the future could u do tutorial on a turtleneck pullover sweater? My nearly grown grandson is wanting me to make him one and I’ve never made an adult sweater, especially with a turtleneck. Thanks.
All your ponchos were so colorful and wonderful. I would have loved to see you model each one!! Beautiful devotional at the end. Thank you, Pamela!! And yes you inspired me!! Blessings!
Love this poncho! It is fast, easy, and the drape, is wonderful. I can’t remember, when I first saw this video, a month ago maybe. Thanks for sharing this and your alternative capelet, idea. I have made 7, so far. All with different colors of shawl in a ball, and one with Red Heart ombré, in Jazzy. My daughter advised making many, and when her friends ask, she can send my link to them, and they can choose from my stash. I only put tassels, on one. That way, if it is a larger sized gal, I can add more rows, and add tassels or not depending on her preference. I do not crochet professionally, I crochet to stay sane. My daughter is trying to get me to charge, for my work. Maybe, someday, for now, I enjoy gifting my projects. Crystal is fantastic, I follow her, too. Thanks, for reading today. Blessings
Thankyou Pamela I love this pattern and I’m making it in comfy cotton. Have a lovely crochet day.. I love all chrystals patterns , hats 🎩 scarves and jackets as well.

When I look at a poncho I always think fall and late winter. But with lightweight yarn and a tank top underneath those really look good! Now I need to make me one! ❤️🥰❤️

yes you should try it. you will like it.
Ooops!! The Shawl in a Ball Yarn is Medium 4 Weight yarn. It is a thin 4 weight yarn.
If you could have heard me, I was quietly whispering in your ear, '4 weight, Pamela, 4 weight.' 😆 It could pass as a lighter weight, though, for sure.
@@CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla Yes, same thing I was whispering. Lol. It’s just the extra bling that they consider it 4 instead of 3. I love it! Cakes too.
That is funny. I can see you doing that!!
Thanks for the spiritual inspiration. On another subject, in the future could u do tutorial on a turtleneck pullover sweater? My nearly grown grandson is wanting me to make him one and I’ve never made an adult sweater, especially with a turtleneck. Thanks.
