@William Guzman It's funny, Vesper isn't James' true love but the Eva Green acted the absolute hell out of this role, while Madeleine who was supposed to be the true love character was far from convincing.
That was one of the most important parts of the character as Ian Fleming originally wrote him. The story of James Bond is a tragedy. He is defined by loss. In the books, he is a deeply melancholy figure after Vesper's death. We don't really see that in the films until Craig. This is why I find the criticism of the ending of the last film shortsighted. Bond's was a tragic story that they ended tragically, but in a way still triumphant. He finally found peace.
Absolutely agree. I am a big fan of Sean Connery as an actor. But - in my opinion - Craig plays the best, most authentic and also most human Bond. This is probably why so many Bond fans don't get along with his portrayal.

1:39 I love Bond's reaction to the guy's laugh. He looks away smiling as anyone else would in amusement at the way the guy is acting. It really humanizes Bond
One aspect that adds to the complexity of Vesper’s character is that she has a string of betrayals-to her country, to her boyfriend, to Bond, and to Mr. White and Quantum. Each betrayal is her adaptation to changing circumstances. Believing herself to be in love, the ambitious Vesper betrays her country to save her boyfriend’s life. She in turn betrays her boyfriend by falling in love with Bond and making a deal with Quantum for the money in exchange for Bond’s life. Of course, she betrays Bond by handing the money to Quantum, but she also betrays the organization by leaving her cell phone and providing James the number for Mr. White. Each betrayal was motivated by where Vesper Lynd believed her heart belonged most. She was placed in an impossible situation, or at least she felt she was. It was a battle of survival that eventually turned to protecting the person she loved most. Whether she gave the money or not, she understood that her own life was doomed. She had been involved in too much, and there was not much left to gamble with in her own life. Instead, she chose the guaranteed outcome, the outcome that Bond would live while sacrificing herself. The great sadness punches you in Quantum of Solace when you learn that her boyfriend was never in any danger at all. Vesper and Bond were robbed of their happiness. Did she actually love Bond? She may not have intended it, but slowly and surely, she found herself more in love with Bond than with Yusuf. As Bond is recovering after Le Chiffre’s interrogation, Vesper exclaims that if all that was left of Bond was his “smile and [his] little finger, [he] would still be more than any other man [she’d] met.” In that moment, you can see the pain and heartbreak in her face as she realizes how much this man loves her, how much she loves him, and the impending betrayal she knows will happen. She continues to wear the love knot Yusuf had given her until her final moments, signifying that her love and her actions are for James. - Vesper Lynd character deep dive by Alice Sarkisyan-

The chemistry between Daniel Craig as James Bond and Eva Green as Vesper Lynd in movie Casino Royale 2006 was off the charts, it was so good, interesting, natural, raw, grounded, hot and sexy and James fell madly, totally and unconditionally in love with Vesper and she did the same with him and it is changed both of their lives forever and when she betrayed him and died it left him heartbroken and I believe James had never got over Vesper either and she was the love of his life and he was the love of her life.
Peirce Brosnan's Bond showed vulnerability too, like in Tomorrow Never Dies with Paris Carver, James couldn't hide his feelings, if he even wanted to for this woman, 'who got to close, to close for comfort.'

Eva Greene. Some choreographers create in the studio working with a dancer- they write/choreograph their story 'on the body.' It's not an exact metaphor, but it isn't enough to say that Vesper seems to have been "written for" Eva Greene... It feels more like Vesper could not exist without her. Transforming Bond into a human being took magic. 007 & the Bond Girls were all about Chemistry. The writing here sets it up but is heavy - it's the actors who let us - like Bond - believe. I don't know, Tracy is one of my favourites for sure. Was her relationship with Bond rushed?
@William Guzman rising signs?
@@Nicholas_Chen_ the decision of getting married was rushed but by that point they had known each other for several months already.
I love OHMSS, it has a good balance of action and introspection. In my opinion Tracy was the most complete bond girl of the entire series.

Thank you for uploading this “Full Scene” great sound and quality 👌
Eva Green is the only actress in the world who acted only with his eyes ❤️
when vesper smile i think the whole world stops and stares for awhile😍😍🥰
Well, she is the money afterall 😒
@@panda_invention1810 but still she's the best in my eye😓😍😍
@@zonunasingson1450 Truly the best of all Bond girls and the most intoxicating natural beauty with a smile that drops me to my knees...
This scene and the beach 🏖 scene are two of the best scenes in all the Daniel Craig bond films absolutely touching brilliant acting.!!!!!!!!
Played like a damn fiddle
underrated comment
Chicks will do that to you 🤣
She hated herself for doing it though
I was waiting for this video to be uploaded by my favourite channel. Just can't remember how many times I have searched for this romantic scene.....the best perhaps in all the movies with Daniel Craig as James Bond007 :)
2:20 - Her expression says a lot. She really felt like shit for that.
Truly a great film that will stand the test of time
3:01 What a G 😂
Um casalzão desses!
I'll miss him so much.. he is my favorite 007..eventhough I'm a woman but I believe that 007 still should be play by male actor....♥
Favorite of all the Bond movies, one of the favorite scenes 👍 👌 💘
Great film!!!! The best Bond movie until now.
Eva Green as Vesper...the best Bond girl...in Casino Royale...♥️♥️♥️
You know when is a good acting (love acting)... When their performance make you the audience, part of it.. I can almost feel the butterflies myself when they look at each other..omg!! lol this was what differentiate this Bond from the before Bonds.. this one was more in tune not only with his sex appeal but his weaknesses.. He did fell for Vesper.
I am so impressed with Daniel - easily an excellent revival of Sean Connery..
Bond fell in love when they met on the train.
Best bond's love so far! Vesper😘
♥️ The Venice Scene Impressively Impeccable ♥️
This brings a soul to the JB legacy... finally, some vulnerability. Best JB ever; and, "the girl" is divine.
Got to make sure his bits and pieces are still working properly.
I love every scenes between Bond and Vesper except the necklace she's wearing 😆
I really miss Vesper
Beautiful script, a really sweet moment.
2:35 that’s probably the greatest compliment I could ever wish for from a woman
2:55 😳(U)
3:05 😒(O-U-T)
Thank you so much for the sharing, it’s a pity there is no subtitle. I cannot understand every word what they are saying due to my poor English.
Eva Green is a goddess!
This scene was everything
*bond falls in love*
Every villain within 500 miles: you just fucked up.
I'm sure the new movie will be great but it will never be as good as this one.
4:18 James Bond: died having unbelievable sex.
Heart-breaking scene.😭 I love this scene and the shower one. 💓
I have enjoyed all 007 films, very inspiring. Keep it up.
Love this scene
still don't get what bond sees in madeleine... vesper was the best
There are only two scenes in all of the Bond movies that brought a tear to my eye. Watching Teresa Bond die in On Her Majesty's Secret Service and George Lazenby's Bond explaining that it was alright, that they had all the time in the world and Craig's Bond desperately try to resuscitate Vesper after getting her out of that submerged elevator knowing good and well it was much too late.
At least they had a little time together. Better that than to never have loved at all.
