    Bought these shoes about a month ago and absolutely love them. Like you said they're so smooth and they make easy runs and daily milage much more enjoyable.

    The out soles of the eclipse is really thin and weak. It wears easily. The outsoles wore down then the white rubber (hellion) will be the one taking the abrassion from the ground.

    How you would compare it to the Superblast? I wanted a do it all shoe for all my training. Great review, cheers

    • @BenIsRunning
      @BenIsRunning  8 місяців тому

      Both max cushioned. Id say the superblast feels a little more suited to faster and longer running. If i had to choose between the two the superblast would be a clear winner.

    Felt a tad disappointed in this shoe really, find the surfer feels much more like a max cushion shoe. Find it a pretty firm shoe
    I agree with the speed board though, not fun with rocks 😂

    • @BenIsRunning
      @BenIsRunning  8 місяців тому +1

      The surfer for me was too soft and felt like it was bottoming out, guess it depends on your preference

    • @wordsovsean8905
      @wordsovsean8905 8 місяців тому

      I was also disappointed. Luckily I bought them from a place with a good return policy. I returned mine after 50km. I didn't find them firm in the sense that the foam was firm, more I found them to be "crashy" in that I felt the pods just collapsed too easily which basically led to me feeling like it was just two layers of foam crashing together on each step. I got knee and back pain from them. Strangely, I wanted the foam to be a little firmer so the pods acted more like suspension rather than wasted air. At 73kg I wouldn't say my weight would play a major role in this feeling. The walking sensation was very nice, but once force was applied that feeling just went away. I got more of a suspension feeling from the Cloudsurfer, though I did feel they bottomed out after 10km.
