    Social media has really fucked us up. Skin has texture. All the things she mentioned can help smooth things out but your skin will always have texture unless you’re looking at it through a phone filter.
    Focus on taking care of yourself. Eat nutritious food, drink water, wear sunscreen, exercise, get good sleep, don’t smoke, get some sunshine every day, spend time with loved ones, and live a good life filled with things you enjoy. These things will make you happy and healthy while also promoting skin health.
    Hyper focusing on how your skin looks three inches from the mirror is just unnecessary misery.

    I absolutely love this girl's knowledge of skincare and I regularly follow her on Instagram and UA-cam . But this might be the 20th time I'm seeing a skin texture video of her when this is not even how texture looks. This is a very normal skin type which many of us have mostly on the forehead area . I'm a teenager and I have a decent skincare routine( according to my skin demands) and I apply sunscreen regularly too. But still my forehead looks a bit like that. But yes we can see how her skin changed alot and now is so much tighter and clearer and trust me that's not just because of skincare. I have seen her vdos of getting very expensive facials and treatments. It's definitely not the skincare only .

      @@chronicmelancholic you realize you can have a “good” skincare routine and still have texture, right? fine lines/wrinkles are technically texture, you’re telling me that those can be avoided? texture happens. skin is a living organ susceptible to change. stop trying to make people feel bad for circumstances out of their control.

      @@sinakhokonkemhlongo6420 i’m sending a virtual hug back your way. my skin is one of my biggest insecurities and comments like the one that dimwit made up there piss me off. i has oily, sensitive, rosacea skin that’s easily irritated by factors that i can’t control. temperature, stress, food, you name it. no amount of skincare can cure/fix that. all we can do is try our best and also treat our skin from the inside out by eating properly, resting, and hydrating. all these fancy routines are just skincare industry money grabbing scams for the most part.

There are natural acids in fresh aloe, so using that a few times a week seems to be enough. It's not baby butt smooth, but it's better than before. Sometimes environmental factors can also give rise to textured skin. I suddenly started getting whiteheads and clogged pores on my forehead but then once the rainy season was over it cleared up on its own. Also, dehydrated skin can lead to textured skin, something that I dealt with personally and heavy moisturizers were what cleared it up. It really depends on the skin type, diet, environmental factors and a lot of stuff in general. I don't really think of textured skin as a "problem".

      and YOU NEED to believe you're perfect just the way you are BEFORE you go for better than that.
      if you start with feelings like you are imperfect and watching such videos on UA-cam will miraculously cure your imperfections, that's NEVER gonna happen. you'll still feel something is wrong with you. grow up or try to understand what it means to accept yourself first before trying to be the best you can.

    Not all these are entirely true I think. For hydration you should hydrate yourself from within so drink adequate amount of water and choose cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen according to your face type.

    So many young girls use like a 20 step cleansing, etc., etc. they basically strip their skin of anything good and make oily more oily, dry even more dry. Or older woman putting way too much cover foundation is noticeable and you can see it up close up many times is cracking. Awful. I think going older the less the better, still take care of yourself diet, exercise, fashion, skin care of course but go gentle in that face maybe a hydrating tint is the answer. Or a light touch of foundation on face and neck to even out skin tone.

    What do you use to heal acne scars?

    • @ys1876
      @ys1876 Рік тому

      Vitamin C, and a few times a week glycolic acid. AHAs help remove dead skin cells. Just don’t over use and don’t use in the same application as a vitamin c serum. Use the vitamin c serum in the day (with sunscreen) and an aha serum at night. Also, top with a moisturizer that is non-comedogenic meaning it won’t clog your pores, meaning less breakouts. And most of all, don’t pick or pop pimples, that’s what causes the scars so prevention is always best

    Hey Sarah, could you please tell me that as I saw in your previous video, you said that directly apply moisture while your skin is damp after shower, so does that mean that we can then directly apply sunscreen to end our am skincare or do we have to restart our skincare again like starting from toning after stepping out of the shower?

    If all of this is true then it’s probably my moisturizer. I love it since it doubles as SPF and feels nice on my skin, but it still feel pretty heavy. What would be a good daily moisturizer in between the Cosrx snail essence and the beauty of joseon sunscreen?

    hydration always comes from WATER! in case you didn't know," hydra " comes from the word "hydro" which means water! I am so tired of companies marketing oils and heavy moisturizers as "hydrating"!! you don't drink oil when thirsty ,why would you use an oil to hydrate your skin??? see,it makes no sense! she is right in this video by showing a mist to use !

      Use The Ordinary Lactic acid, and The Ordinary salicylic acid nightly. Lightly do a physical exfoliant once or twice a week. I use Good Molecules Pineapple powder for my physical exfoliant, but you can use whatever exfoliating product you like. This has drastically reduced my acne scars, and really lightened my hyperpigmentation on my cheeks.

    Jokes aside it’s completely normal. It’s fine to improve on your routine, but not everyone will have glass skin at all times. Even people with the most perfect skin in the world have their own problems and will have other noticeable ones in the future. Skin care is about taking care of your skin! Not just making it look perfect
