Isn't it weird how when you first start building a vault, you get kind of locked into your design and it's hard to imagine any different kind of vault?
@@edmondnoir6191 How did you manage to get vault fully lighted up without stupid lanterns and conduits? I really wanna try that cause mine is really dark
@@supnenCyc I put the vault style conduits on the outside of the walls instead of the inside for one and then I put the brightest light i could find lol in the ceilings and at each level which is the light you will see being used. I also used a mod to increase the radius the conduits can reach iirc.
thanks again haha - Yea i wanted to make a legit danceclub using basically all vanilla assets and think I pulled it off nicely :) The rooms on the side are so that people go up to that floor otherwise its pretty barren. You can alternatively use mods that make settlers sandbox dance there too however i just didnt use those mods in the build and tried to make the build mod light
Anyone know if there's a way to get the vault floor with the yellow edge? My ocd is going mad that some sections don't have it. Like near the door to the stairs in this video
i know this is like 3 years later but i decided to replay fallout 4 and actually put effort into having cool settlements so i downloaded your blueprint! it loaded fine, everything is powered off, but when i try to pick up/put down the floor tiles or conduits to reattach stuff, it goes red and won't allow me to place it. do you know how to get around this? i even have the place everywhere mod and don't really know why it's not allowing me to put it right back where it was. thanks!
@Loweryi thanks for giving my blueprint a try! Im glad you like it. To answer your question you need to pick up the piece and put it down literally anywhere dont even try to connect it to something - and then pick it up again and put it down into its correct place. Now you shouldnt have to do that for every piece just the pieces that got disconnected for one reason or another. you can use lights to test out were the electricity is breaking.
How is everything powered? I'm not seeing any wires, and are the generator rooms the source? And what do those things on some walls do? Metal boxes with a pointy thing.
power is transfered through the floor of connected valt pieces - conduits can be placed to amplify the power transferred into the air. for my vault i hid the wired on the outside of the walls
Oh - yes so thats basically a creative solution to a design issue. Basically settlers wont use the red light district its too far - and I didnt design it to be a place to sleep and live rather just a district. Well the issue is that without beds near by the settlers wont use that area. If you place beds in there which is near center of the district they will then use the beds. The issue being that the best location to do this was on a second floor off a dance floor lead me to a creative solution.
There is a vanilla blueprint version of my settlement. Basically its just missing some lights, clutter, furniture and that's it. It will have all the walls a lot of the furniture will be there etc. But yea You can totally make it your own using the vanilla version - the vault will be built out.
I dont know what you mean. You just select the settlement workbench and then type a council command to increase the budget to whatever you want. Or use a mod that auto does that for you.
@@nameisroi No I use a song thats a hour long mix so length doesnt matter - you just need to be sure that you replace the audio file with a audio file that is the same format and with the same name.

The dance club is awesome. Your atrium reminds me of Oxhorn’s but the trees look better than his murky pond fountain lol
Thanks! Yea I really tried to make it feel bight and welcoming and the tree brought it together very nicely i thought XD

Amazing. You are really talented for building something this cool with how annoying and difficult it was to place ANYTHING in the building area.
thanks man I really appreciate it! I really tried to make it a fun city/base for the player
Wow, i never thought to build my vault differently from an average vault. This is amazing
my man playing Fallout Shelter in Fallout 4!
Amazing vault build.
This is really well made. Very clean design, clearly a lot of thought as to what should go wear. Also your voice over was very helpful. Nice build. 👌🏻
The attention to detail is amazing
Watching in 2024 awesome video!
thanks man! I hope you enjoy the blueprint! my greatest wish was that we got transfer settlments for VR but it never happened unfortunately
That door locking trick might be the greatest tip and trick I have heard of the entire time playing this game.
That is really cool i like it. I even took insparation for my vault
I love it! I add trees and plants too, 'cause I think people need to be in some kind of contact with nature.
Nice design, so many ways of doing it, but I like this.
Thus is awesome dude
Wow 😳😳😳 very very nice
Dance club is GOAT. Gonna try and make one in my vault after seeing this.

Amazing.
put a settler beacon dow and youll have dwellers
This has more Mods than Taylor Swift has exes.
you can use a vanilla blueprint version. Mainly the mods are dynoshelf and the extra sign mod. thats mainly it. which again you can not use.

Guarding with humans is for nerds i use robots to guard my entrance to the vault door which is assaultrons from automatron

You can't change my mind
Better than Vault-Tec
my beef with doors like that in fo is they would never open in like fo's do. I've seen NORAD and it doesn't open in it opens out.
How is ur vault so light out, Mine is dark as fuck
better than the people ho creat the game
thanks man! I hope you like the build!
Love it, but wish we didnt need mods to make something so good

I just made a lot of hallways and some rooms
isn't it funny how this vault is broken and we can't just get a save file
im not sure what you mean mate.
hello, do you use the glitch for upgrade space? to build more
I dont know what you mean. You just select the settlement workbench and then type a council command to increase the budget to whatever you want. Or use a mod that auto does that for you.
I just use unlock settlement objects mod and I get almost all of the modded stuff in this video
badass! If they have the same ID as the stuff in the video then it should port in fine. :)
