- I wanted to apologize for the long delay! I promised this video two months ago. School ended for me last week, so expect a video every other day.
Building Vault 88 takes a lot of work. The atrium is where most people give up. That is why this video exists! This video shows you how to design Vault 88.

Thank You! I had a similar idea but I'd always be discouraged and look up vidoes on how to build a realisitc, vanilla, lore-friendly Vault 88. Every video either used mods, had too much going on, had too little going on, atrium is too big or atrium is too small (the atrium really is the most important part, it sets the mood of the remaining areas of the vault). This is exactly what I'm looking for, though maybe I can even revist my old idea, it just gets tricky with everything else, such as the residential area-
yo i’m pretty late to this but how do i build the o overseers area it’s like not snapping to build up
I take it that you did not use the right pieces after the doorway or that you are using the wrong atrium parts. I would recreate the beginning door section.
Note that when you are connecting doorways you need to use the “Hallway to Door” or “Atrium - Door” pieces. Please let me know if you are still having problems, just with more detail. Thanks!

Am I the only one who makes my guards in vault 88 with the same gear of my faction.
Currently doing minutemen so I give my guards minutemen type armour.

Such a cool idea! I could imagine turning the Vault into a Brotherhood of Steel bunker and giving everyone Brotherhood outfits such as power armor.

can I make it wider or higher?
There should be no issues with making it taller or higher. I would shy away from making it wider or longer just because it takes away from the already limited building area, meaning that you’ll have next to no room to build anything else.
Hey kinda late on this but I cant get the hanging ceiling to snap to the doorway.
Any advice?
For sure! I am assuming you are talking about the second-floor walkway, right?
Two suggestions. The first thing you can try is to just place a “Atrium - Floor” piece where you want the “Hanging Ceiling” to go, then place the proper “Hanging Ceiling” on each side, then remove the “Atrium - Floor” and see if the pieces on the left and right side make it easy for it snap there.
Alternatively, you can temporarily remove the “Atrium - Door,” place just a wall, try it again, and then switch it back. Maybe try seeing if the “Hanging Floor” will snap anywhere and build off of that.
@@Dyplexate Thanks! I found a different workaround by switching out the top and bottom corner pieces with the top & bottom whole piece that came with the walkway and built off that. My only issue now if keep my settlers inside the confines of the vault itself lol
Hope a New Vegas/Fo3 remastered comes out
I do as well, but I’ve stopped hyping myself up for it. Almost every year after Fallout 76 came out, rumours would float around for a potential “Fallout 3 remaster” - I would hype myself up every year around e3 - but always end up disappointed.
I just realized that Fo76 came out in 2017/2018 - wow does time really fly I remember playing the beta test server

@@Dyplexate it depends, what us UA-cam for you? because there are different types of content creators, but overall i believe you should do what you enjoy doing, and not to worry about the views, i mean the views and subscriptions it's an important factor, is what determines if UA-cam it's a hobby or a full time job, but in order to become the later you need to start from the bottom as always.
