Amazing that u figured this all out well done. I used concrete walls and beams to fill in gaps and actually managed to fit atrium floor prices completely in top area before train tracks (except for one spot where dirt was too high) and for some reason atrium floor connected to wall/door can clip into side of the tunnel sometimes
I know this is 6 years late but you can get past the build limit easily by just dropping a bunch of guns on the ground, storing them in your workbench from build mode, then repeating Indefinitely. The more complicated the gun's texture, the more space it will free up when stored.
this is great. i have no idea why the developers didnt align the tunnel to be able to link up with the vault pieces normally. thanks

Just snap your foundations to the starting point on the tunnel. Getting the perfect height might take a few tries.
Will it conduct power?
Just set a few generators and conduits before you add the walls. There's plenty of room on the sides
That's what I'm looking for too. A set up that will get vault pieces conducting energy from the reactor room.

I can't get the floors to snap down
Robert Gaines make sure your feet are above the floors or they won't drop. Try standing on them if your having trouble
when theres a will, theres an accompanying glitch/ (feature)
