      Me neither, 78. He's a good storyteller. But these UA-cam videos alone don't give a fuller view of his character in such respects. We're all online and this is someone's vlog, of sorts.

      78sound it's good to be sceptical. But today we need strong male rolemodels, more than ever. A man with a good heart and discipline is able to correct himself and evolve into a better man. That's where a better family a better world all starts in my opinion

    The last two times someone challenged me to a fight, after I turned age 18, I found ways to de-escalate the situation. But I know that this isn't always possible to do. In the martial arts I learned the "arm's length" rule. Meaning you don't let someone come within touching distance. To do this you hold up one or both hands as a warding and calming gesture -- it's both a warning and an appeal for peace while at the same time preparing you for any incoming strikes. I combined that gesture with talking to them calmly and telling them I didn't want violence but if we had to fight I would -- I gave them enough room to save face and they decided not to take it further. Had they come closer I would have been forced to strike or grab them.

    • @citydrums7525
      @citydrums7525 6 років тому +10

      If forced to strike you would have struck like a Cobra. Like a giant Kung-Fu snake. You would have been greased lightening, man. You would have been a maximum action Jackson throw-down artist. You would have been a juke box hero. You would have been super duper spectacular. Like an octopus with tantacular tentacle action. You would have an old school gangster fury about you. But, as luck would have it you de-escalated the Karate action with a few waves of your fists of fury and common sense. Be saluted sir. You are free and not in jail. You have lived to fight another day...

    I felt the same way you did playing the waiting game when I was facing 3-5 years for various thefts that I wasn’t proud to say I committed. I was so fortunate enough that my parents helped me get a decent lawyer and managed to get into a diversionary program. I was nearly one month away from completing my 1 year long probation and then my case would be sealed for good, but I stupidly went and got myself arrested for getting into a fight. Luckily I managed to keep my diversionary program, otherwise I would have still been going to court for the theft charges as well as the assault charges they slapped me with. I thank God every day that He allowed me to continue with my life and receive no jail time. I could have easily spent the last 3-5 years in prison.

The video you spoke on about raising your daughters with respect and values. After watching a few of your videos, I embrace and appreciate your character. But ofcourse you've gone to the school of hardknocks. Nevertheless, you've made it through the trenches, blood sweat tears and grimey slimey nightcrawlers. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

    It sounds like you were struggling from anxiety or something like that when you didn’t want to socialise, stayed home a lot etc. I’ve had 36 operations including 33 knee operations, a spinal operation called a spinal cord stimulator and an op to put the battery pack for that in my belly. For about 5 or so years I’ve been mostly housebound and now I really struggle with anxiety. Have you got any advice about starting to get my life back on track? I know it’s different circumstances but I was just hoping for a bit of advice. I had my most recent knee operation the end of March and it seems to be doing good for once. I’m currently doing as much physio as I can to get that strong enough so I can physically get out. But the other piece of the puzzle is anxiety. Sorry for my life story but I thought it might help when replying lol. I also have depression but I’m already feeling better and I think when I get a life then that should disappear. I hope you have a great weekend. Messaging from the UK 🙂. Sorry for the essay lol.

    • @ABOUD1
      @ABOUD1  6 років тому +15

      you have been through a lot. For me I was much more damaged than just having anxiety. Severe depression and suicidal thoughts plagued me. I felt like I didn't fit in anywhere. It's tough for me to give advice on this because I am still messed up in many ways but i will try. Start by reading and listening to motivational people. Think about what your life has been and what you want it to be. Make the decision that this part of your life is over and that you are ready to move on. Don't worry about what others think, Be yourself in every way and get out there and live life. It is passing us by so quickly and you have already lost years because of circumstance..To lose more by choice is a sad thing. Focus on rebuilding your body while trying to socialize with people who are like minded and not likely to bring you down in anyway. And if you ever need feel free to reach out to me. I will always try to help if i can.

    • @JMWxx
      @JMWxx 6 років тому +3

      ABOUD Thank you so much for replying Aboud, you seem like a nice guy no matter your life story/your past. I was out today with a guy who struggles with anxiety and lives round the corner. We’ve made the decision to try to help each other and to get out there but not push each other before we’re ready. He’s 33 and I’m 27 soon and he seems like a great guy. Hopefully we can both be that little push the other one needs. Yea it would be sad to miss out on more. I need to not give myself the chance to make excuses not to do things, just say yes and do it 🙂. I’ll look into the motivational books, do you know any good ones? You should do a book on your life, it would probably do well. I’d buy it lol. Either do it as factual or do a book on a character that is based on you and make it seem fictional even if it’s not. Just be careful if you did it as fact if those dirty cops are still trying to pin things on you! I just think your story could help people in that position and as a motivational story to help just anyone. Jadewelch22@gmail.com feel free to reach out if you want. I’ll always be myself, not the most confident person but even I know I’m a great person... Sounds big headed lol. Keep up the great videos and work 🙂.

    Dear Sir...given the circumstances, I'm not sure the situation could've been avoided. The only "mistake" was stopping to "stand your ground." No doubt these were the lessons needed so you can reach the rest of us out here and inspire us to not give in to the destructive invitations of the Devil. Even though I do not know you, I have tremendous respect for you and your journey... And the fact that you're a Christian brother even ignites a tinge of bro-love for you. New Jersey is the worst state... For gun laws, self defense laws, etc etc. The worst! Happy he didn't die, however in the heat of the moment when a young alpha male is being tested, instincts take over and sometimes you can't control yourself whether you think you can or not. When adrenaline is rushing through your vanes its like no other feeling. I bet if you we're in Texas or somewhere it would have still been bad on your part but not as severe as if you were here. Jersey needs to change ASAP. This story is one of those fucked up situations where one person was initially defending himself from someone who instigated the problem and the instagater ends up cathing the worst of the beating and the defender catches the worst of the legal ramifications. 😔

    Ain't it crazy how they can spin any story anyway they want? You were a 20 yr old kid. I had a similar encounter right across the bridge in philly at a hs party ended up getting drunk & beating up a cop's kid (unbeknownst to me). That shit still affects me to this day with employment shit I can't even chaperone at my young girls school because I have a violent past. I'm 38 today. Hope some young guys can get something from this because it's really not worth it unless your life's in danger.

    Great Video Man. I was Born and raised in Newark NJ...."One wrong action can cost you your life"... I really appreciate the reminder. ?..... What would you advise another man to do when faced with disrespect in public? I recently had a confrontation while driving. Dude said to me "I thought so" after making threat from his car. We came to a red light, I said fuck it, got out the car, my girl tried to stop me, but I was like fuck that, started to approach his car, he sprays me with mace while sitting in his car, got me right in my eyes............ What man carry's mace. But after calming down and able to fucking see again, I realized that could have went so many other ways. He could have had a gun. Ect.... But I as well have a hard time with random disrespect. I want to avoid all drama.

Literally was just walking into the Post office and some Huge Black dude walks up to me and asked him why I squirted him???? I tried to tell him It wasn't me but he said I don't play that, and he blocked me so I pushed him and punched him... then I don't know what happened next. I just put my Guard up. Lucky for me he stopped. But I knew he was going to do something, and I wasn't going to win by any means so I got mines off first. LOL

I was robbed and jumped at my house. i fought back.. i fought back hard.. too hard. the dude ended up looking way worse than me so the cops sided with him even though i had video footage of him punching me first several times mounted on top of me.. apparently once you get up from underneath someone you are no longer within "self defense" hell ya im gonna beat his ass once i squirm out from under him after hes attacked me haha.. did 5 days whatever system is wack and jury people are swayed by D.A's.. luckily the judge had my back was looking at 6 months at first...

      Western Kratom I’d definitely go to the vet, yes it costs but you can’t get in trouble for killing it then (I’m from the U.K. so the laws may be different where you are) also I’d hate to worry if my animal was petrified in those moments before you kill it. Just hold him/her, stroke them and tell them you love them. My dogs our family’s baby. Kind of like a cute, crazy little sister in a furry costume lol.

      Western Kratom I forgot to say I’m sorry you’re faced with this decision! If there’s something they can do and you can afford it, I’d personally go for it so I know I did everything. But if it’s a choice between keeping them alive longer but them struggling or dying peacefully, I’d go for the latter.

      My 2 cents. In the 90's I had a loyal dog I should have been put down. I couldn't do it. Well,one day at work wife called crying that Roxie (my sweet loyal dog) was crying and screeching in pain. She finally died in agony right in front of my devastated wife. It was all my fault,I should have had her put down. I will always regret not doing it earlier.She deserved better. Dont wait if it's time. My 2 cents.

      I checked out your website and some videos. Congratulations on being able to turn your life around the way you have. That's a great accomplishment in itself and it looks like you have so many more great things coming your way soon. I'm happy to see anyone be able to come out of one life and change enough to make it in another. Most people can't. I can tell you are a solid person and someone I share a lot in common with. I haven't really been doing anything on here lately because of health issues but let me know what you have in mind.

      ABOUD you know, I watched one of your videos and it just resonated because you’re one of my tribe bro. I can just tell. I’m from Detroit but you can always recognize a standup guy. You seem solid as it gets. Broke my heart to see how the system fucked you. I was a bad dude and pretty much deserved what i got. But you got fucked. Are you Chaldean? We should talk. Maybe we can do a show. I have you on mine, you have me on your channel. I’m trying to build subscribers. You’re a natural storyteller like me. And there is a market for that here in youtube. You have the look ladies like. You’re very articulate. Smart. I’m sure you have many more stories you could share for your followers. You need to capitalize on that. My novels are all fiction but... obviously some of my real life made its way into them. I’m not sure how much you know about me but I’ve had quite a journey. So thank you. I’d love for you to read my work. I’ll leave a link to my shorts. 3 million reads and growing. They’re not nearly as complex as my novels, but people love them. We are working in selling them as a scripted TV series to the likes of Netflix and HBO. This virus fucked everything up. I was supposed to co-hosting Mob Movie Con/Awards this months. It’s pushed till August now. No Productuon companies are shooting. But my books are doing well. Everyone has time. You should checkout my books. You’d love them. Check the reviews. They’re being called “the next Godfather.@ I tell people no, “It’s the first To Be A King.” But of course it’s an honor to be compared to The Godfather.
      Send me an email and we should work on a zoom show. Whats yo with your health? You okay? You look healthy. But I understand if you want to keep it private

      Aboud stated he was really drunk coming out the club and he drove home. Maybe the attacker was road raging because he sensed that Aboud was driving all over the road.
      Maybe the other driver premeditated it all.

      I did get charged with that. Ended up beating it because they strapped me down and took blood forcibly without my consent. Nothing fishy about my stories. Everything is on paper and can be verified.
