Me too! Not all but I watch some! I just went back to drugstore hair care because the curly products such as Camille rose coconut detangler left my hair DRY! So did ouai curl crème. I got the dove bond line and can’t wait to try it! As a leave in I use Pantene miracle 3 in 1 conditioner paired with the doux mousse and my hair feels soooo good!
Please do a video about the recent trend of hair oiling as well as scalp serums and hair serums vs hair oils. This is a category I have seen a lot of on social media but would love to see a dedicated video from you on ❤
Can be good for if you have a dry scalp, to hydrate a little bit, but it's not necessary I don't think.. And you need to be careful so you don't feed the malazessia bacteria and get yeast overgrowth.
@@elin_ I think my scalp technically falls into the oily category but my scalp can't handle shampoo that's aimed towards oily hair for every wash. I don't have a ton of scalp issues to deal with thankfully and oiling my scalp with a lighter natural oil and using an OGX oil on my lengths and ends around 1x a week is really helpful for me and is encouraging hair growth as well. 😊 I enjoy doing it but I agree that if you've got scalp issues it might not be helpful!

YES!!! This. I'm super sensitive to scents, as well, and also (mildly) allergic to coconut oil, which is in absolutely everything. I tried a lot of coconut-free products over the years, but none of them worked as well, so I went back to the coconut ones and just deal with the itchiness, but the strong scents of a lot of products make me cough so hard I can't leave the house sometimes (especially post-2020, if I cough now everyone looks at me like I'm spreading the plague.) It does give me a headache, but I still like it better than any other ones I've ever tried, and it doesn't drop that powdery flakey stuff on my face, either. I'm eager to try the one she mentioned in this video, since Abbey likes the scent of it better. I'm hoping that means it's lighter, and maybe won't trigger the cough or headache.

I am in love with dove bond shield protector. It is similar to other bond repair but can be used almost instead of oil for mids and ends. My hair is so soft. I don’t see people talkig about it. Low cost too
Abbey, Dove’s new line is LIFE👏CHANGING👏 My hair is classical length and this line is so nourishing and repairing for the ancient ends of my hair. My esthetician actually asked me what I was doing different at my last appt and was blown away when I said it was Dove 😂 thank you for putting us on this miracle line. ❤
After seeing the video of all the bond treatments, I went out and bought the conditioner at my local CVS, they were out of the shampoo. I can't wait to try them.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I wanted to share a secondary use for the Nizoral shampoo. If anyone suffers from seborrheic dermatitis on their face, the main ingredient in Nizoral, as you mentioned, is ketaconazole. This is what dermatologists prescribe in cream form for the face. However, the Nizoral can be used on the face as well. I usually start with a gentle cleanser, rinse, then wash with Nizoral, and leave it on like a mask for about 10 minutes before rinsing. It helps a lot. Of course, as always, check with your dermatologist. Hope this helps somebody out there.
I am 31 and I always washed my hair once a week since I was a teen without having hair problems. But, since a year or two, I started to have build-ups at the back of my head even tho that I don't use any after hair products. So it made me go from one to two washes per week and it solved my problem. Highly recommending to increase hair washes if some of you have build-ups issues and hairloss because of build-ups.
So my hair texture is different than yours but I've been obsessed with your videos and when I tell you that, that Dove 10 in 1 deep conditioner is the truth IT IS THE TRUTH! I'm going to try out more of your recommendations but I'm on the drier side so need to add in some of those oil recs.
Your channel has drastically improved my hair and my confidence. I’m so grateful for all of your videos and content. Your channel is by far my favorite on UA-cam! I have a question. What are your thoughts/opinions on hairspray? I have used it for years to set and style my hair, but does it contribute to dryness or breakage? I’m in my 40’s and have fine, dry hair that breaks easily & is somewhat damaged from coloring and graying. I appreciate your expertise & feedback! Thank you!
Dove and Kerastase aren’t super similar ingredient and formulation wise. If you want something similar go for L’Oréal or Redken. L’Oreal actually owns Kerastase, L’Oreal and Redken. A lot of L’Oreal hair care products are cheaper dupes for Kerastase products. They aren’t a 100% match obviously but vary anywhere from 70-90% of the same ingredients.
Dove bond strength system plus coconut oil, free and clear shampoo and Kristen Ess Clarifying shampoo is all I need. My head has FINALLY stopped itching, my hair fall has reduced and my hair feels healthier than it ever has with more expensive products.
1:19 I just tried the Dove Bond Repair serum mask yesterday because of how much you kept recommending it and O.M. G I instantly felt a difference in my hair, it felt like someone had cast a magic spell on my hair 😄
I just bought the dove bond shampoo and conditioner... I love the mask! Ican't wait to try this line out!!! I love the new L'Oréal Ever Pure US glycolic glossing laminating mask, shampoo, and conditioner!! The tresseme thermal heat protectant is my favorite style holder ever!! It keeps my hair straight for days!!
So happy I found you this year, my hair is so much better for it! It's been long for years but never this hydrated and silky. Would love to see more styling how to's, like slower Airwrap vids. My curls never look as good as yours 😅
Love that Dove bond repair mask! Bought it on your recommendation and love how it makes my hair feel. Sorry about Tik Tock but I never go on that platform. I am subscribed on UA-cam though. Enjoy your break and wishing you a happy and healthy New Year!
You are the best your videos are so informative and now thanks to you I have my whole family hooked on the Dove bond line! Enjoy your break and can’t wait for your new videos! Hair growth videos would be great!!
Following you here and on IG! I don’t even have TikTok. 😂. I’m so grateful for what you do. It has made my hair beautiful and my routine simple. Blessings to you in the new year!
Based off your previous bond repair video, I ordered the Dove shampoo and conditioner. I'm so glad it's still your top pick! Now I can't wait for it to be delivered and start using it! Thanks for all your recommendations!
Nooooo don't leave!! Your videos are the ones I'm always most excited for 😭! I am bummed, but I jest-of course you deserve a break. I hope you thoroughly enjoy it, relax, have some fun, and come back feeling totally refreshed 🌸. See you in a couple of weeks girl! 🩷✌️😘
I started using two mini claw clips to secure my hair because you recommended it in a short and it’s solved soooo many of my breakage issues! Cheers to more amazing hair hacks in 2025 🎉
Thank you for this year Abbey ✨❤️ One way I like to use shampoos with more conditioning ingredients is to use them as my second shampoo after I've used something more clarifying on my first round of shampooing. Makes my hair a lot softer 👌
I follow you everywhere except tik Tok . I think your major strength is your honesty and your long form videos. Those will be there forever so just remember that you stand out in that respect and try not to worry
IMO the TikTok ban is complete BS. The FBI is also not doing a damn thing about the "responsible encryption" stupidity or preventing those kinds of cyber attacks from happening.
Dove Bond Repair is absolutely worth the hype. Even in comparison to high end products is it so incredibly good. The mask is a little too heavy for me but the shampoo and conditioner are amaze-balls.
thanks mucho for all u do for us! enjoy the much deserved break n happy happy 2025. i know w/ or w/out Tik u will continue to grow ur ahmazing biz! ❤❤❤
I’ve used H&S for yeeeaaarrrs and it’s my favorite shampoo! With so many shampoos, I would breakout on my face, my hair would be flat, and my hair would damage quicker. H&S has always fixed these problems! H&S shampoo and the Dove conditioner are my go-to hair washing products!❤️ No need for expensive products!
Ive been loving using that Nizoral shampoo 1-2 times a week on my scalp! I definitely notice leas “dead skin” coming off (never had a true dandruff problem though). I also use it 1-2 times a week as a face wash! I use the SMALLEST pea sized amount and really massage it in and let it sit for 5 minutes. Its drying but helps with the flakey weird red patches i can get around my eye brows and bose and chin. Actually makes my face soft soft too
Thanks to you , Abby, I have finally figured out how to care for my hair! I have a different hair texture, but all the products you recommended has done wonders for me ❤❤ I can’t thank you enough❤ Btw, I’m obsessed with the Dove Bond Strength line.
I feel like you made haircare more exciting for me this year, especially through finding more affordable good quality products! I found you through skin care content, but now I’m all in for the hair care content! Happy new year, Abbey! 💖
Hi, for next years videos I would love to see more showdowns and more videos were you test out new beauty products. Aswell as more hauls and a makeup routine. 😍
Abbey, your drugstore bond repair recs have given me the healthiest hair of my life! I'm excited to try the Tressemme Volume Mousse you've recommended, and for a future video, I'd love to hear about any other volumizing products you enjoy. (I swear by the Pantene Volume and Body Shampoo, and am curious if you've also tried the conditioner.) Happy 2025 and enjoy your time off!
Thank you for your informative content. Your Dove hair care recommendations have been a game changer for my long wavy/curly hair. Enjoy your well deserved break. Get out and enjoy the no snow and warmer weather with your baby! While it lasts.
Loving the dove bond strength. Using the shampoo and the mask. The second time I used it my hair was a little weighed down but my hair is medium thick and I have a lot of it. So this time I used the Pantene volume and the dove mask. Tre Pantene is a recent add to my routine too. You finally got through to me!
Re. dry shampoo. I have thin, fine hair so need a dry shampoo that adds volume. Does Amika Perk Dry Shampoo offer the same volume that Living Proof does?
Hi, Abbey! I hope you enjoy your well-deserved break and have a very happy New Year! For video ideas when you get back... I would lovelovelove a video showing exactly what you use and how you style your hair for bed. For some reason, no one really goes into detail about that, and I never learned properly what to do. My hair is nearly your length but finer/thinner and wavy/curly. It gets in the way constantly when I'm sleeping, so I actually wake up throughout the night to move it, but I don't love caps--they never seem to stay on, so they become as much of a nuisance to deal with as my hair itself, and I can't stand sleeping in curlers or anything like that. I may be screwed, I realize, haha, but if there's some other miracle item out there that would help, I'd love to know about it and how to use it properly. I do use a silk pillowcase, but that doesn't stop it from getting wound into/under/around everything. Thanks! :) On another topic: I purchased your hair routine pdf quite a while ago (your hair is AMAZING!!!), saw how long it was, got overwhelmed, and shelved it for a while, but I'm finally getting into the routine now and picking up the various products and everything. My question, given this video, is how you work in the medicated shampoos as part of that routine. Do you use them just one or two times a week (and do they stand in for the clarifying ones or the regular ones?), do they replace your other shampoos for weeks at a time if there's a flare-up, or do you double cleanse with them AND your regular shampoo lineup, or something else? Thanks again for all your time and hard work bringing us all this information, it's very appreciated, and I am hoping a year from now my hair might look almost as fabulous as yours!!! :)
I do follow you here as well on Instagram, I'm not on til tok. You've convinced me to try the dove bond line and I'm someone who only uses high end shampoo and conditioner, I'll let you know how i like it on my long, color treated hair. Enjoy your time off
You showed the dove scalp line and the K18 shampoo and I am so thankful! I have a sensitive scalp and I seem to not get along well with the standard sulfate SLS. It burns when I apply it and also I get dandruff and Itchy scalp. That is super hard because here in Germany there are no shampoos without SLS. We only have these and a coconut derivative which is not strong enough to clean your hair.
the dove bond strength line is soooooo good. saves me a lot of money too bc of how comparable it is to high end products! i might check out that loreal gloss just bc u recommended it
lol…Abbey, you immediately put Dr.Zeus in my brain when you reviewed the hair clips….”I love these clips…I have them here…I have them there….I have these hair clips everywhere”. Love your channel. Your honest reviews and amazing knowledge are a gift to your community. Thank you for all you do and have a very healthy, happy New year! Enjoy your time.😊❤
Abbey - please can you review more tresemme lines. I’ve been using the beauty full strength range and am really enjoying it - especially as Dove bond repair is not available in the UK - I hope they do bring that here!
After watching so many of your videos, I decided a couple of weeks ago to order dove bond strength schampoo, conditioner and hair mask, the L’Oréal bonding system and Pantene volume and body from Amazon, since these products are unavailable in Europe. I also bought epres, the pureology leave in conditioner, ogx coconut oil, k18, dove intense repair schampoo and conditioner and living proof bond treatment. It was not cheap but omg, was it worth it! My hair has never felt as soft and silky as it does now. I haven’t tried dove bond strength schampoo and conditioner yet because they arrived just this morning, but I can’t wait! I’m in love with the hair mask, so I’m sure I’m gonna like them as well. I know it may seem excessive, but for the last decade I’ve suffered severe hair loss due to my autoimmune disease. From having extremely thick, curly hair that grew like crazy, my curl pattern almost disappeared and my hair became straw like and thin and it broke easily. Brushing and washing my hair was a nightmare. It affected me so much and made me depressed at times. I know it may seem silly, but for me it was hard. Not only was I battling an illness, but I was also losing hair like crazy. This last year its gotten so much better, but I’ve felt that I needed to reset my hair, if that makes sense. When my hair loss was at worst I went to a dermatologist and he told me that I basically needed to wash my hair as often as possible. Preferably with drug store products because they have sulfates, which equals better cleansing properties. At the time it made no sense (I was deep in the belief that you only washed your hair once a week) and I was scared that it would dry out my already fragile hair. Now i know better, thanks to you. I’ve only been trying some of the products for a couple of weeks, but so far I’m more than impressed. I’ve never tried products that made an instant difference, until know. I can’t wait to see where this hair journey will take me. I’ve always had dry, unmanageable hair and I always wished for sleek hair. Now at the age of 41, I’ve learned to love and accept my hair just the way it is after everything that I’ve been through with it. It’s also become easier with the help of the tools you’ve provided us on how to take proper care of our hairs. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your work! I appreciate it so much. I hope 2025 will be great year for you and I will be following every step.
Love all your content. You have helped myself and my daughter with all your recommendations. I would love a video about drugstore hair color. I know this one might be hard though if you only get your color done in a salon. I get my hair highlighted in the salon but I need gray coverage every 4 weeks. I cover my roots only with drugstore color. I would love a drugstore color showdown.
As someone with keratin treated hair I can’t use anything with sulfates as they’ll strip the keratin away, and I have an oily scalp 😩 so I’d love it if you could talk about shampoos and other products that are safe for keratin treated hair that still give a good cleanse. 💕
What I have found with dove bond mask with my very fine dry as a bone hair is that I need to be careful not to use too much. Because it will weigh my hair down. But it does make my hair very silky
Just started following you this year on IG and love your videos! Would love a video on hair care supplements (Nutrafol, Hair, Skin & Nails vitamins, etc) and their effectiveness. Just feel like there’s a lot of information out there and I don’t know if I should trust it!
Over the 3 years I try to grow my hair . I used to have very long and thick hair and after a certain length they just start to break and don’t grow normally . I used all the high ends shampoo and treatments, oils and bond hair repairs , I also try to cut kinda often or not to cut it at all for a year . I don’t use heat ( rarely ) , I don’t wash my hair everyday , I only do highlights once a year etc . I am getting frustrated, what else can I possibly do ?
Can you use the Dove Bond Strength shampoo and conditioner daily? I wash my hair everyday or every other day tops, depending on my day to day activities (gym, walking, going into a smog filled city for my studies, etc.). And I really want to try these products, but I heard around TikTok that you shouldn't use bonding products daily because of protein overload (I think?).
I went over and followed you on Instagram. Also. I have really long super thick hair and those jaw clips that you recommended are the best find that I have found for clips for my thick heavy hair. Great recommendation!
I love the 10 in 1 serum (not mask) Im surprised you don’t. But thank you for recommending this line I love it! And I have tried everything from low to high end and my hair feels so nice after using this. But I use the serum everyday regardless of what shampoo/conditioner or if I even wash. It doesn’t weigh my fine hair down and feels so mice and non greasy.

Omg great picks 😍
Hi Abbey! I always love your informative, non-biased videos! I would love to see a video on heat protectants that ACTUALLY do their job
omg always excited for new videos from youu, ive gained so much knowledge about haircare and skincare!
Yay thanks for watching ❤❤
Yes Abbey is so helpful..I'm going to start doing biweekly
couldn't agree more! so glad that helped
Yessss 😍😍
Your channel has drastically improved my hair and my confidence. I’m so grateful for all of your videos and content. Your channel is by far my favorite on UA-cam! I have a question. What are your thoughts/opinions on hairspray?
I have used it for years to set and style my hair, but does it contribute to dryness or breakage?
I’m in my 40’s and have fine, dry hair that breaks easily & is somewhat damaged from coloring and graying.
I appreciate your expertise & feedback!
Thank you!
Aww thank you so much! I think moderate hairspray usage is totally fine so long as you're using a shampoo that properly removes it
@@AbbeyYungGreat! Thank you so much for your feedback!
Can you do a comparison for Dove and Kerastase?
Dove and Kerastase aren’t super similar ingredient and formulation wise. If you want something similar go for L’Oréal or Redken. L’Oreal actually owns Kerastase, L’Oreal and Redken. A lot of L’Oreal hair care products are cheaper dupes for Kerastase products. They aren’t a 100% match obviously but vary anywhere from 70-90% of the same ingredients.
I have fell in love with so many products you recommended! The Dove line is just beautiful! Unfortunately some products are not easy to find in EU.
Yay say glad you love too! ❤ I wish we had access to the same products 😩
Is there anything similar to that Dove line in Europe?
@barbarar5869I would love to know
I’d love to see a video in detail about your trichology program!
Have a lovely and well deserved break! ❤❤
Just got the dove bond repair shampoo and conditioner last week and I LOOOOVVVE them!
YAY!
G I instantly felt a difference in my hair, it felt like someone had cast a magic spell on my hair 😄
yesssss right?!
Thanks for all your hard work, Abbey. We appreciate you 🥰
You are the best your videos are so informative and now thanks to you I have my whole family hooked on the Dove bond line! Enjoy your break and can’t wait for your new videos! Hair growth videos would be great!!
Omg YAY so glad you all love it too ❤❤
You finally convinced me. I used the shampoo and mask this morning (skipped conditioner) and omg you were not kidding about the silkening effect!
Hope you love it too 😍😍
@@AbbeyYung I'm sure I will love it. Just started following you on Instagram. I wish you a happy and prosperous 2025! 🎉🎇
I would love a hair styling video. How do you get your hair front pieces to curl like that?
Enjoy your much deserved break! 😊
Seriously love your channel, you’re my go-to for all hair science. That said, would love to see you make a video on scalp oils and if they work w
awww thank you so much 🩷
I’ve used H&S for yeeeaaarrrs and it’s my favorite shampoo!
Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you get a good rest Abbey!
On it!! ❤
Omg YES on the makeup (+ updated skincare) routine!!!
Would love to see some info on low porosity hair care for straight medium hair. Happy holidays
Great video! I need to try the Dove bond strength. Quick question, what mascara are you wearing? Your lashes look phenomenal!!
Would love to know your thoughts on keratin treatments! Love your content! Thank you for all of your hard work!
Yay I've been waiting for this one. I must say I wishhh we had Dove Bond Strength here in the UK :(
hopefully soon 😭
Re. dry shampoo. I have thin, fine hair so need a dry shampoo that adds volume. Does Amika Perk Dry Shampoo offer the same volume that Living Proof does?
Thank you for all you do, Abbey! You are such a trusted advisor. And also super fun!!😅 Have a wonderful holiday. See you next year!
Thanks! :)
On another topic: I purchased your hair routine pdf quite a while ago (your hair is AMAZING!!!), saw how long it was, got overwhelmed, and shelved it for a while, but I'm finally getting into the routine now and picking up the various products and everything.
Thank you for another informative year 🙏🏼❤️ you’ve helped my hair SO much
I do follow you here as well on Instagram, I'm not on til tok. You've convinced me to try the dove bond line and I'm someone who only uses high end shampoo and conditioner, I'll let you know how i like it on my long, color treated hair. Enjoy your time off
Don’t have either of those other platforms nor interested . Also a fan of that Dove line and just ordered the L’Oréal gloss 😅
Ty for your content ❤
You showed the dove scalp line and the K18 shampoo and I am so thankful! I have a sensitive scalp and I seem to not get along well with the standard sulfate SLS. It burns when I apply it and also I get dandruff and Itchy scalp. That is super hard because here in Germany there are no shampoos without SLS. We only have these and a coconut derivative which is not strong enough to clean your hair.
the dove bond strength line is soooooo good. saves me a lot of money too bc of how comparable it is to high end products! i might check out that loreal gloss just bc u recommended it
Enjoy your very deserved vacay! Thank YOU for helping us on our life journey, and I would love to see you review the hair mask Glimmr
lol…Abbey, you immediately put Dr.Zeus in my brain when you reviewed the hair clips….”I love these clips…I have them here…I have them there….I have these hair clips everywhere”. Love your channel. Your honest reviews and amazing knowledge are a gift to your community. Thank you for all you do and have a very healthy, happy New year! Enjoy your time.😊❤
Have a great break. Thanks for all of the helpful content ✨
I’m currently hair growth journey and have purchased many of your product recommendations! Dove bond strength has completely transformed my hair!
So much love for you Abby! Everything you've gone over and talked about has been amazingly helpful!
Thanks Abbey!! Enjoy the holidays and your break! You deserve it! Love your content as always ❤
Hi Abbey!! I just purchased the L’Oréal gloss from Amazon through your link 🩵 your videos mean so much to me I absolutely love you and your content!
I use Head and shoulders and Nizoral and it helping with hair loss
Hi abbey always love our video. But im waiting your review for loreal professional absolut repair molecular 😅😅
I ordered the L'Oreal glossing mask from Amazon a few days before Christmas and got it last night. Can't wait to try it
Happy new year! Thanks for all you do for us!
You weren’t kidding about the Pantene shampoo and dove line. My hair has never felt and looked so soft and shiny! Now on to try the gloss! ❤❤
What I have found with dove bond mask with my very fine dry as a bone hair is that I need to be careful not to use too much. Because it will weigh my hair down. But it does make my hair very silky
I’m looking for a dry shampoo that my husband won’t mind using (scent) on his fine, short, light-colored hair. Suggestions?
thank you so much for giving us all this knowledge !!❤❤
Happy New Year! You deserve a break, for sure.
Just started following you this year on IG and love your videos! Would love a video on hair care supplements (Nutrafol, Hair, Skin & Nails vitamins, etc) and their effectiveness. Just feel like there’s a lot of information out there and I don’t know if I should trust it!
Happy New Year and thanks ❤
Over the 3 years I try to grow my hair . I used to have very long and thick hair and after a certain length they just start to break and don’t grow normally . I used all the high ends shampoo and treatments, oils and bond hair repairs , I also try to cut kinda often or not to cut it at all for a year . I don’t use heat ( rarely ) , I don’t wash my hair everyday , I only do highlights once a year etc . I am getting frustrated, what else can I possibly do ?
thank u for all the effort you've put in the videos in 2024! ❤❤❤ we apreciate u so much!
Thanks a lot for your content here and very Happy holidays, Abbey!! Relax and enjoy it, we will do in parallel!
Thanks for all your research!! I’ve implemented most of them and have definitely seen a different in a few months.
Yay! Amazing ❤
Loved this! Do you have any recommendations for herbal remedies that can help with seasonal allergies? Thanks for sharing
Hope everything works out for you! I enjoy your UA-cam content so I’ll be here. ❤
Hi Abbey 🌸🌸 I would like to know your opinion about Yves Rocher hair products, shampoos, conditioners, jojoba mask, moringa vinegar, raspberry vinegar for shine .
WHAT is the lip combo you are wearing here? So beautiful!
