@@NMJ-n1i I use Epres all over and OGX oil on my ends before every wash. I double cleanse, focusing on the scalp, first with Pantene Pro V Volume & Body, then Dove Bond Strength. A lot of us with curly hair were told not to use "harsh" shampoos but clarifying my hair regularly has made such a huge difference in my hair health. I also stopped bleaching. Not an Abbey Yung rec, but my favorite conditioner for years has been Mop Top Salon Daily Conditioner.

I agree, my lifeless falling out hair after 10 years came back to life. Abbey is the true hair guru. She don't just recommend based off ingredients but actual product formulations that work. If you're watching Abbey, consider making haircare we can trust and rely on that works well and stays that way! Oh, and affordable. 😂

I think it's pricey enough. $13-$14 for such a small amount. I been using it for the last 6mo exclusively and I am alittle on the fence with it.
Yes it's incredible at making your skin feel soft but Vaseline Intensive Care (that I've used for 30-40years) is flawless at not breaking me out and keeping me hydrated for at least 3 days at a time. Vani seems to peter out after about a day. (hence named "daily" moisturizer) It also makes my nose feel wierd. 😂
But I've also been using LA Roche Posay hydrating cleanser with it and yeah, I seem to break out in funny rashes, get milia and other oddities that I never in 55years ever had. Maybe the two together is finicky.
I since (this week) went back to Vaseline Lotion but I'll never stop trying to squeeze in Vanicream because ingredient wise it's everything Vaseline isn't. Sorry for long post but wanted to share my 6mo experience with Vanicream. 💚❤️🎄🤟

I love and appreciate your hard work and dedication to honestly share your thoughts on everything you try without sugar coating or trying to sell a product. Love the Dove Bond line. I used the shampoo, mask and conditioner last night and my hair is so soft today. My wavy hair is usually so frizzy but not today.

I started out with watching dr dray for skincare advice back when skincare wasn’t popular at all on UA-cam. I wanted the same thing but for hair and scalp care..and that’s how I found you! Thank you for always trying to be evidence based with your recommendations and your honestly. It’s what has always set you apart!

Hi Abby! Would you be willing to show your hair colour/bleaching routine at all? I'm thinking of going from getting a full head of foils to something less damaging, and would love to know what you used to do, what you get done now, how often etc. Thanks for the great informative videos! 🙂

She has a video where she showed her going into the salon and what her stylist uses. I would post it but UA-cam always removes it. Just do a search and you should find it.

That Skin Smart hypochlorous acid spray is a game-changer for so many reasons. We're just back from our annual cruise and I took that with me to keep things clean while on board so we wouldn't get sick while cruising. I use this so much I last bought it by the gallon on Amazon which was only about $24! In MY humble opinion, that is the #1 purchase in my heart!!

I’m don’t work as a hairstylist but I went to school for hairstyling in 2013. Since then, I was brainwashed into thinking drugstore products were the devil. I spent years trying different shampoos for my oily scalp and couldn’t find one I liked that wasn’t insanely expensive. Pantene volume and body is now my favourite shampoo. I love that I can save money and just focus on having a clean scalp. I prefer to spend money on treatments and conditioner that help my hair. I want to thank you for providing proof that drugstore products, silicones and sulphates aren’t bad for your hair. My hair and wallet thank you!

I used the Elizavecca protein treatment on my son’s longish hair as at his last haircut , my sister is a hairstylist, who cuts his hair, said she was shocked at how damaged his hair was. I used the treatment just once and she noticed a drastic improvement in his hair. We also gave him a proper bonding shampoo and conditioner to use, which also helped.

Loved this! I learned from you to focus on getting a really good clean on my scalp. I got off the Pantene panic years ago, but still thought because my length is dry, use moisturizing creamy shampoo. NO! I have learned so much from you, and have really been able to improve my hair, it’s actually been less dry after making several important changes! Thank you!

Currently sitting in the bathtub watching this. Recently bought the Pantene volume shampoo and conditioner, & just used it!
My grandma also used to have them forever in the large 1L bottles. I was using them in January of this year when I was staying there for a couples weeks!
I agree it helps me go between washes with my oily prone hair. I’m going to get the dove repair lines next!

Omg the volume and body Pantene shampoo has been my fav for sure! I went to my naturopath recently due to hair loss I’m having and the gasp she gave me when she heard I was using Pantene…. 😂 she told me to stop using it because it could be the problem… and I immediately knew I was not going to listen because I know from your videos that there isn’t anything inherently in a shampoo like this that would be causing hair loss unless I showed signs of a reaction. And my hair absolutely loves it!! Ignored lol

I just bought the Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, used it once, and I'm BLOWN AWAY by how smooth, silky, and shiny my hair is - but still with lots of volume. I was using Blowout Professor's recommendations before - Redken Cleansing Cream and/or Volume Injection Shampoo, Moroccanoil Mask, Color Fanatic leave-in etc, and those recs had helped my hair a lot compared to the aging mess it had been, but so far Dove Intensive Repair is significantly better than those!! I can't even believe it's the same hair!
I'm SHOCKED because I literally have never liked a single Dove product in my entire life (and I'm over 50). I would never have tried them without the recommendation from Abbey on this channel.
Also, Pantene Volume & Body has helped my son and husband so much! I was buying whatever shampoo was handy for them, like at Trader Joe's, and their scalps weren't getting clean because all the damn shampoos are sulfate free. Their scalps are so much cleaner and healthier now, thanks to Abbey.

Another thing recently you turned me on to is the Haus labs b structural mascara 10/10 would recommend. And the Dove repair shampoo/conditioner/mask. I’ve been using that eye serum as my gentle retinoid basically since it launched and I’m on my 7th tube of it. It is as good as they say. It’s the most luxurious texture I’ve ever experienced in a skincare product. It’s gentle, but still very effective. I got better results from it than I got from adapalene because it wasn’t shredding my skin barrier.
