Very cool! Makes our R710's in production look like ancient history. Will you guys be covering the R940 or R840s when they release?
R940 is out. R840 is coming with R340 aprox. and yes R710 is ancient :D Maybe Upgrade to at least 13.Gen ? R730s etc. are well alive and kicking.

Sorry the narrator said "It doesn't matter if you install 1 NVRAM-N Module or 12, you still need to pair that with 12 RDIMM Modules" at 6:00 So for every NVRAM-N DIMM installed you need to purchase and install an RDIMM Module as well? Thanks, great video btw :)
HI Triston, You have to start with a minimum of 12 RDIMM modules as a base. but you can also use varying numbers of NVDIMMS, either 1, 2, 4, 6 or 12. Depending on how many NVDIMMs are installed you can also install up to 23 RDIMM modules but all configurations require a minimum of 12 RDIMMs at least for the R640, R740, and R740xd.
1 NVDIMM with 12 or 23 RDIMM modules
2NVDIMMs with 12 or 22 RDIMM modules
4 x NVDIMMs with 12 or 20 RDIMMS
So on and so forth…

Where is output audio port this model
Hi there El Pie Bernardo,
Servers typically do not have an audio port. Actually, let me change that. Servers don't have an audio port because they are servers and usually in a server room and not at your desk. That said, if you do not mind the jet engine noise from the server fans and drives, and still wanted an audio jack you could probably add a sound card using the PCIe slots. It could but for the best performance in bitcoin mining more GPUs is better. Check out the Dell C4140 or the Gigabyte G291-Z20 video we just released yesterday, which has 8 GPUs in a 2U chassis powered by a single AMD processor. That's the ticket! Thanks for watching!
