honestly one of the most unique challenge runs ive seen in a while, its easy to set up and not hard to get going. a good challenge run for people just starting with runs, or just a fun way to play through the game, might do it myself later honestly
Yeah it was a fun one to go through! This idea came up after discussing the possibility of a 'no upgrades/different weapons' run with some people in the community, and the random aspect gave it a little spice!
Dude i opened the video, i was putting it on full screen and saw with the tail of the eye your pic and went like "was that majima?". Truly a majima everywhere moment
@@eleumloycee I might do a similar one with a more "planned" route. Pick out some interesting weapons from each class and limit myself from getting certain weapon classes until I can access the ones I wanna use.
I started keeping an eye on this channel thanks to not 1, not 2 but 3 challenges on ds2 and even 1 on Demon's Souls. Damn I'm glad I stumbled upon it. You girl definitely got it. I look forward to each new video, you are really good at this!
The dragonslayer bow was an unfortunate choice for Halflight, especially since the composite bow allows you to draw it instantly after rolling. Oh well... we can say it was part of the challenge.
I have to say, when I saw your first video half a year ago shortly after it came out with only a few views I thought "Man she`ll have 10k subs in a year or so" and you halved that time. I REALLY hope your channel keeps growing like that, You have one of the most comforting voices I have heard so far on this site, your narration shows great personality, and ON TOP OF ALL THAT you keep coming up with those fun challenge ideas. I am really itching to see where you`ll be with this project in the future.
The support I've gotten from the Souls community on youtube has honestly been insane! I really didn't expect to get so lucky with this channel lol. I'm just really glad I've been able to make content that is enjoyable for me as well as people who watch it!
For a community that is born from a mindset of "lulz git gut noob" it has come a long way and people often tend to surprise me with how chill they actually are. I think luck is a huge factor with most stuff that happens in the internet, but I think the success you had with your channel is less luck and more just you yourself. In germany we say "Ehre wem Ehre gebührt" (roughly translated "Honor to those that deserve it", with the implication, that you deserve to be less humble )
Your creativity with these challenges is stunning! They're never generic or too pointlessly difficult/dragged out like many of them normally tend to do but rather fun :D
Watched this video later and adored it! Your humor is fantastic and your challenges are always so creative. I love your channel so so much, it's a crime you're not more recognized!
Thank you for an hour of DS3 content! It's just what i need to calm my insomnia at 5 am :) also it is nice to see more challenge runs of this game, love your videos!
I love Souls game challenge runs simply because it's fun seeing how the difficulty of bosses can change so drastically when you alter how you have to play dramatically. I've seen a ton of DS3 challenge runs and almost universally bosses that in a normal run are one and dones become insurmountable walls. It never gets less entertaining watching someone take 40 tries to beat Deacons after leaving and coming back twice and then beating Midir in like...3 tries.
You did considerably better with your bonewheel shield against the deacons than I did, i had to come back after Wolnir and i think some of Ariandel to them, with the black iron shield which was the best shield on the run I found. Nice work!
Yeah seriously! There's a thousand different ways this challenge could go depending on the wheel. If you end up doing it, I'll be looking forward to seeing it! :D
Your videos are funny, clever, interesting, and informative all at once. I’m so glad I’ve found your channel! To think you only just started a few months ago… you just have natural talent.
This is such a cool idea for a playthrough! I also really enjoy your style of narration and explaining how you got through each section of the game. Thank you for uploading :)
Just discovered and watched most of your stuff. You really underestimate yourself, you're keeping your head strong and it allows you to get better and win. The only thing you're lacking is meta knowledge, which you can get by watching high-level content of those games like hitless or speedruns, like for example you barely ever wanna two hand a straight sword in ds3 (some greatsword class weapons too but i haven't tested it for strength scaling ones), as it's slower and the only advantage you get off 2 handed r1's is a vertical swing which is useful in far and few scenarios, mainly NK dragon phase. That said, you're doing great, you're great to watch, slay
6:57. I’ve notice that as well with ultra weapons. When I was fighting friede on my strength int/faith build with Lorian’s greatsword I seemingly couldn’t land a backstab on her in phase 1 / 3 but then I fought her the next day on my dex/faith build with a curved sword and I backstabbed her a bunch. I think ultra weapons just have slower motion values on their backstab animations so it’s harder to lock an enemy into the grab because they’re slower at activating it.
I love all your vids i feel like you take challenge runs from a different angle than typical challenge runners, and you created a whole new style of challenge run, at least ive never seen anyone use specific weapon types really. Specific weapons yes but types ive seen maybe once or twice before you overall love your vuds and keep up the good work
Ngl a small part of me hoped that given you’d just unlocked irithil when you rolled staves, that you might have used the staff the witches there drop as due to its length it’s got some funky synergy with soul weapon attacks
RNG based playthroughs are dope thats how I ended up killing demon prince with a +0 corvian greatknife and light rolling and sister friede with black knight greatsword heavy attacks
Fantastic as always, love seeing your videos popping up on my recommendations ngl, keep up the great work and best of luck on your YT career, I'll make sure to get some loyce souls on my next visit through Eleum to save em from the chaos.
Have you thought about doing a fashion run? As in, having to beat each area while cosplaying as an enemy / boss from the previous area? Like, full armour and weapon set. Could even do one run with mob enemy fashion and another with boss fashion. Doesn't necessarily have to be DkS3, but it would be impossible with Bloodborne and DeS lol. Probably not doable with DkS1 either.
@@eleumloycee Cool. Hell, if you REALLY wanna go for it you could try to beat each game cosplaying as an enemy from the previous game. That does sound a lot less fun and varied than the previous area idea tho. Oh well.
Nah bro no shame on deacons on runs with low AR those guy can be a major roadblocks with the psuedo timer they have with the curse so using bonewheel was actually a kinda insane play lmao
It's kinda crazy how I never realized how hard they could be with some restrictions! Like I told someone else, I'm never underestimating these guys again lol
Seems like you had a wheely good time with this one!

babe, wake up. new Eleum Loyce upload.
Unfortunate place for the bow to land. I think that’s arguably even more evil than Gael, given that boss’ bullshit.
You may be right lol, I don't think Gael would be able to dodge that well!

Thank you so much! I can't wait to also post Elden Ring on the channel after the DLC comes out
Waited for curved swords until Gael. Can't believe you used Curved swords to beat Gael. Curved. Swords.
Dark Souls 3: Wheelium Loyce.
I'll see myself out.
7:34 You re-reinforced your club
Congrats on hitting 10k
Thank you! Now to start on that 10k challenge...
My wife and I love your videos.
Thank you guys, I'm glad to hear that :D
This is such a fun idea
The dragonslayer bow was an unfortunate choice for Halflight, especially since the composite bow allows you to draw it instantly after rolling. Oh well... we can say it was part of the challenge.
I got so obsessed with finding high AR that I lost sight of the important stuff lol

Another heater from the goat
Great Video! I love how thematic it was to use the Earth Seeker Axe against the King of Storms.
This video appeals to both my gambling addiction and dark souls love. Very nice
Dark Souls gacha game
WOOO NEW ELEUM LOYCE UPLOAD
This sounds fun. I will watch it well actually later today since it is past midnight
Begun as a pyromancer, ended as a pyromancer.
The RNGesus won again
How poetic...
ELEUM LOYCE IS BACK AGAIN WITH ANOTHER BANGER⁉️⁉️💪💪 Thank you for bringing the most original challenges to the souls community🫶
Am I the only one who thought she killed Grayrat at 17:50?
"He's come in clutch once again."
I didn't even notice that when editing, that transition is hilarious
❤ another great upload! Late to the release of this one but excited none the less!
Discovered your channel yesterday and have been binging all your videos. So pumped to catch a video on the hour of release!
Your creativity with these challenges is stunning! They're never generic or too pointlessly difficult/dragged out like many of them normally tend to do but rather fun :D
Love your vids so so much!! I'm at work atm but very keen to watch later :3
Outstanding. Subbed. I agree with your sentiment about Gael’s boss theme song. It’s incredible.
It really was the perfect theme to conclude the series
a challenge run idea : Dark Souls 2 as a cat 😺. using the Flying Feline Boots, cat ring and claws for damage. PS: Love your videos
This is a cute idea :D
I'm really happy your channel is taking off! You came out swinging and I've loved every video you've put out!
Another great vid, Loyci!
Thank you so much for putting in all the effort to caption these videos!
You're welcome! I think captions are just as important as the video itself
I played ds3 for more than a thousand hours and just discovered that soul of cinder can heal also this was an amazing challenge
Wow, sounds like you have really good luck lmao!
Very fun video! I loved seeing you toss yourself off a cliff 15 times!
not the GOONdyr ;u;
I just looked this up and now I wish I hadn't
Another eleum loyce banger
Classic Deacons of the deep.
I always dread fighting them on low level runs because of the dps/aoe check.
Glad to see another video from you.
I never realized they could get so out of hand , but I feel better that someone else has struggled against them before lol
Another killer video, keep up with these they are awesome.
Watched this video later and adored it! Your humor is fantastic and your challenges are always so creative. I love your channel so so much, it's a crime you're not more recognized!
This was a fun run! Thanks EL!
I had fun as well!
Wowza is that a brand spanking new video from hit UA-camr Eleum Loyce?
Congrats on 10k subscribers, you’re one of my favourite challenge runners right now!
Thank you! This really does mean a lot!
Thank you for an hour of DS3 content! It's just what i need to calm my insomnia at 5 am :) also it is nice to see more challenge runs of this game, love your videos!
I'm glad to hear that, I know how that feels and hopefully you get back on schedule with sleep soon!

Yeah in most runs they don't even get to do much, but in a challenge run they'll really show you what they're made of lol
You did considerably better with your bonewheel shield against the deacons than I did, i had to come back after Wolnir and i think some of Ariandel to them, with the black iron shield which was the best shield on the run I found. Nice work!
really cool idea, also replayability is great! seriously considering doing my own challenge run with this rules! (I will credit you of course)
Yeah seriously! There's a thousand different ways this challenge could go depending on the wheel. If you end up doing it, I'll be looking forward to seeing it! :D
wouldn't you like to do some playthroughs or streams in the future?
Your videos are funny, clever, interesting, and informative all at once. I’m so glad I’ve found your channel! To think you only just started a few months ago… you just have natural talent.
Random chance always makes things "fun" 👀 You're bringing the drip as well! Seems like every 5 minutes there's a fresh outfit.
3:22 Can you feel it coming in the air tonight?
vordt's booty really opens up the run
This is such a cool idea for a playthrough! I also really enjoy your style of narration and explaining how you got through each section of the game. Thank you for uploading :)
Congrats on hitting 10K!
Aw, thanks! I really appreciate this, "ThickVeinySausage"

All of your challenge runs are so unique and fun to watch. Love these

the goat with another banger
Genuinely such a fun idea for a run! Might have to reinstall DS3 just to give it a go!

Man i didn't get a notification. Just found this vid by myself. Thanks for this nice vid. GJ!

Eleum Loyce: *uses magic for catalyst*
Press continue: I thought you would use staff/chime as a weapon..
that smack at 4:34 was personal lol. Great video!
Yeah that one got a chuckle out of me so I had to include it!
Any plan to do a Elden Ring challenge yet, I love your videos, very weird and unique challenge no one does :))
After the DLC, I will start posting Elden Ring videos to the channel! I'm super excited!
I really loved this challenge idea, it was a great video
I thought you were gonna save the fists for the ancient wyvern and I was genuinely shocked when you used a katana on it
Knowing my luck even if I had saved it for last I wouldn't have rolled fists anyway lol
Love the videos 💜
Thank you!
Very fun and unique challenge, as usual good gameplay and even better ideas.
I loved this video! it was really entertaining to see, i'll see if i try it for myself sometime soon!
Love trying out new weapons
Just discovered ur channel and im already binge watching all ur videos 💀
Yooo this is a sick challenge, I did this in Elden Ring for fun. Love your stuff, you're an awesome content creator!
Thank you! I think I'm gonna try a challenge similar to this one after Elden Ring DLC is out!
Thanks!
Wow, thank you so much! You are so kind!
Thank you for bringing refreshing challenges to the community ^^
I'm glad you enjoy them so much!
RNG based playthroughs are dope
thats how I ended up killing demon prince with a +0 corvian greatknife and light rolling and sister friede with black knight greatsword heavy attacks
I wish one day some Challenge Runner will tackle the Javelin WA only NG+ run 😁
13:22 Old Demon King's theme sped up sounds like a choir of mournful rats
Fantastic as always, love seeing your videos popping up on my recommendations ngl, keep up the great work and best of luck on your YT career, I'll make sure to get some loyce souls on my next visit through Eleum to save em from the chaos.
Any plans on doing any Elden Ring challenge runs? Maybe a randomizer for what weapons/incants you can use like this one?
Yeah, I will do Elden Ring after the DLC comes out! I've been holding off on playing it again until then lol
Yay! Excited for the new video! ❤
Best wishes
Amazing video. I love your voice
Another banger! Keep up the great job!
Only at Eleum Loyce we can get a 5 min rules of the run breakdown 😁
I can't believe you didn't use the Pontiff Knight's Curved Sword, the greatest weapon ever, on Gael.
That weapon is really cool, but I couldn't resist the demon's scar lol
Weird things happen, yesterday I thought "eleum loyce hasn't updated in a while".... That was the 4th time it happened
Pontiff is super easy with shields only, the guy gets stunned and the clone too making them easy to kill
Another great video. Love all you do . Hope your ok
Lifehunt scythe finisher :o
Another certified slapper of a video, ds2 upside down controller run when?
1:05 you have bear fists?
Love it keep it up.
Watching this while I break my santiers spear

🐐
Lol the deacons screw alot of challenge runs over, making some people fight the dancer first... cuz it's easier lol...
I feel like I really underestimated the deacons all this time!
Eleum Noice :3
Ty for content 💙
Is that a new Eleum Loyce video
Reinforced club = has less durability than the standard club. 😅
