I'd have quit right when the Ruin Sentinels show up and I have to poison them to death...Although I am very glad to see the use of glitches! 50:00 was actually a surprise to me! I had no idea that weapon had any NG+ significance, that should have been a feature in all of the games!
At least now I know how to dodge, and it will be easier when I inevitably return. Also, halberds may not have been the best choice for starting weapon. They're on the slow end, and I always hit things in the dead zone. Basically, I set myself up for failure.
Fun Fact: The Belfry Gargoyles take less damage when they are in the "coming to life" animation. Great Chaos Fireball is still probably the better bet though, the range, being able to move a bit while casting, and the 2 casts per herb definitely work better since the gargoyles don't stagger that much and WoG would leave you wide open while you kneel down to use it.

YOOOO I have had the fortitude to put 800 hours into Elden Ring I've put 250 at minimum into DS1 on every platform I have it on DS3? Another 500. I couldn't finish DS2 once. Say, I've heard great things about ds2 lighting mods, specifically the one being created by Stayd3d, called Flames Of Old, though it's not yet complete because it's gonna be an overhaul of lighting, animations, and even some mechanics. I'm guessing he's trying to give us the ds2 that was meant to be. Very ambitious project. If you'd like to add a new flair to your videos, I'd suggest using some of the lighting mods for ds2 and maybe using the Flames Of Old mod when it comes out, and I'd be very thankful if you gave them a shoutout. The man deserves more recognition and the game deserves his love. Looking forward to your future content.

Great work and great video. You keep coming up with creative run ideas. DS2 really did NG+ the best for the most part by trying to add new stuff to the world. It’s a shame that the only other soulsbourne to attempt a way to change the world was Demon’s Souls with the use of World Tendency. A World Tendency run does sound a little fun, but it’s also obviously impossible.
My favorite way to replay DS2 is this exact run!! (Except the restriction lol) Only watched the beginning for now, will return for the rest, but sounds like you did a previous run or two to reach NG+2 from what you mentioned about Dragonrider Knight. I always use a burner steam account (using the Family Share feature) and just use cheat engine to change the NG cycle manually. Saves a lot of hassle lol.

I found the “longer” route to blue smelter was easier. I tried pulling the levers and running but kept dying. I then just tried going the other way and was able to consistently make it to the boss pretty much every time.
