I always enjoy that your runs allow for a good freedom of Loyce when it comes to weaponry! 😁 Great stuff as always, EL! I can tell with each vid you're getting more confident and comfortable and we're seeing your personality shine through. Keep up the great work!

25:00 In the wake of Dark Souls 2 being a bit more "generic" with its music, I often forget to look up the tracks by themselves because I don't _remember_ any of them. But this section here where you text-commentate on the music piqued my curiosity again, and the first track I checked out was the Dragonrider's theme. Let me just say that just because a song seems "generic" does not by any means indicate a song is bad. This theme rocks, and I'm glad you pointed me in the direction, even if it was just for a throwaway joke about sped-up music.
I don't think the Heide weapons are steel, as steel is mentioned by name multiple times (such as: the Blacksteel Katana), but the Heide alloy is specifically labelled as a mystery.
I do believe heide material is supposed to be brass, or at least a mix of it since the ancient giant sentinels are also in heide (and in other places) so Probably steel and brass mixed together. Heide was supposed to be anor londo 2.0 (lore wise when gwynivere ran off with flann)
@@thekeeper1287 looking at the weapons to me it seems it cant really be brass since the color of the material is way off, and also since the attempts at replicating it produced a new steel type. my guess is maybe its part titanium or something
I finally beat the game now I can watch these video without spoilers. The best thing you could do on Pursuer was to pary he’s launch attack then run to the crossbow. I enjoyed this silly video.
@@eleumloycee you missing out then. It’s pretty simple give it 3 or 2 try and you will hopefully get it. I think there are other attacks you can pary but for me i think the launch attack is easiest!

Oh hell yes! Excited for another one and just in time for vacation, time to stay up late! Glad to see the material run back for round 2. Hope to see it become a series
what a video for a small channel, the quality of the videos is surreal for so few subscribers, keep the grind 🙏 And always remember, The sun is a wondrous body. Like a magnificent father!

2 months late but the reason why lightning is effective on Looking Glass Knight is indeed the rain as it applies the 15% weakness. By the same logic he has the additional 30% fire resist, however magic should still out scale his lightning weakness when it comes to raw damage. Great video.
Iirc, in practice Lightning is actually his lowest elemental resistance. Then I think Blunt for physical. I forget if it's slash or thrust he's more resistant to.
Love these types of runs, getting exposure to weapons and spells that I otherwise may not have encountered! The pure swag of dance of fire was so satisfying
Woo, DS2 completed! After this challenge was done for DS1, I was pretty excited to see my favorite FromSoftware game get beat in this way too! I am glad the info I posted on the first video helped!
@@eleumloycee Thanks for the props! I had so much fun researching it lol, it’s definitely my favorite game by far, the variety of locales, and the enemy variety too, just a great game! Great video 🔝 I also liked the way you bend the rules a little bit and use different information to beat more bosses that really made the challenge alot more interesting and entertaining 👾👍
“I’ll assume it’s made of keratin” Well, given that it specifically comes from a black dragon it’s likely that it comes from kalameet’s tail, which’d make it rock actually.
Since you read the comments, you can get through Frigid Outskirts more easily by timing your runs. Get to the first bunker, use the sun's position to orient yourself, then RUN straight ahead as the snowstorm lifts. One deer will spawn and chase you to the second bunker (with a healing pool), but can more easily be dealt with (or even ignored). Then, using the sun for orientation, run from the big bunker right at the end of the snowstorm, aiming for the left side of the third one which has a soldier inside. Another deer, sometimes two, will spawn and chase you but no more will appear while you take out them and the soldier. Lastly, you can bolt for the bosses using the same method and none of the deer can catch you if you make it to the bridge area.
I found my problem was trying to ignore the deer instead of just fighting them, and I actually despawned some of them which I didn’t know worked on them!
See I would've just said "Nah im good. frozen in this god-forsaken hellscape is close enough to killing the boss. Ice and snow and my unending tears are a different material
