Really cool video idea! DS1 can be hard to come up with new challenges for given how much has been done with it over the years but you both succeeded and executed it well. I like your chill commentary 👌
@eleumloycee also crazy fact, I've got like 500+ hours in DS1 and I never knew until watching this video that you could drop below the lift in Firelink Shrine!
I realy like your idea of doing more creative challenge runs . I personally have grown a bit tired of all the no hit/ no damadge and low damadge runs as they all fell kind off the same after a while . So i find your more creative approach to a challenge run quite intriguing. Keep up the good work
I agree with you so much, the challenge runs with restrictions that require creative thinking, designing routes, and overcoming obstacles are much more interesting than "I can use only weapon X that is very good early but very bad late" and is basically the same video as others but with slightly different move set.

It's nice to finally see a different kind of challenge run, well done! I've noticed the audio is way smoother than the last video, it's so soothing and calm and it makes me relax so much even though I would probably hate every second if I had to do this run lol
I'm surprised that this is only your second video. This video was super well edited and it seems like you have hundreds of videos worth of experience. Super excited to see what you do next!

Thank you! This is actually one of the reasons I decided to start a channel, I didn't really see a lot of other ladies doing challenge runs so I figured I'd get the ball rolling :D
A fun watch :) I felt for your sanity at that Gwyndolin montage. The only one tiny bone I have to pick would be mostly pointless: wouldn't the sanctuary guardian tail, a scorpion tail, be also made of shell? Anyway, I'll be looking out for other different challenges if you choose to continue with the idea
Theres nothing i love more than sincerity , and your content couldnt be any more sincere , like would i be wrong to say that you really enjoy making these videos even with all the effort involved ? its like a home cooked meal honestly , keep it up and congrats on all the new subscribers !!!!
Thank you! I do really enjoy making these videos, I've always loved Dark Souls challenge runs so I decided to make a channel about it to share my adventures!
I just finished the video. I love the comedy and the creativity of the run. Once again, you knocked it out of the park in terms of production quality. Overall, fantastic job. I can't wait to see what you work on next. Plus, I love seeing some of the passion for animals come through in your content; it gives us a little bit of personality to go along with the amazing content. I'm curious: what other types of games do you enjoy, and do you have any plans to cover things outside of the Souls series? Also, a small tip for Gwendolyn because you were having a few issues if he does the soul mass hug the pillars tight. Run and roll through the soul spears and crossbow shots and you'll have tons of time to punish
Wow, thank you so much! Yep, I do have a passion for animals, my cat who jumped on the keyboard turned 17 this year, I love her so much! About your other question, I like all kinds of games like Minecraft, visual novels, DDR, etc. Right now I don't have any plans to do other games on this channel PS thanks for the tip :D
Ik I'm a day late but I'm really happy that you've already relaced a video so soon and you've already become one of the UA-camrs I actually look for their videos specifically. I can't say this enough but you're amazing. Can't wait for your next video :DD Also question, what's your favorite game?
@@carsonclement110 You know, I'm not sure if I can pick just one! In general, some of my favorite video games are Bloodborne, Kingdom Hearts 2, Tekken Tag Tournament, Undertale, and I guess Minecraft too :)
@@eleumloycee Thats cool :D I can see that's hard to choose one favorite game but I really love Terraria because it's one of the games I played when i was younger and still play
A similar challange idea I've had for years is something from fallout 4 (though can probably apply to all fallout games) is a challange where you beat the game without using anything from the old world, not including mandatory quest items , so all healing items you have to grow and make yourself, all weapons and outfits you must gather material and craft yourself, the goal is to prove that despite the world ending , humanity can learn to thrive and overcome without having to use the leftovers of the past
When you got the chaos parasite I legit thought you were going to kill a boss with the parasite bite attack Great run, really brings out the unique flavor of ds1
I watch a LOT of dark souls challenge runs and so I really enjoyed this refreshing take. It was really fun and creative how you fit different weapons in to make it all work out. Excellent!!
Two souls like videos in a row. We expect great things from you young Lord of Cinder. Hope to see another one of your videos in my subscription feed very soon. Cheers!
Pretty cool how only 2 vidoes made and yet ur in the top 5 best challenge runners imo. I mean the 2 challanges you did so far were absolutely awesome, keep it up!!

I think a fun challenge could be can you beat dark soul's normally. I just always love to see what players who know such much and are so talented at the game do to just have fun
i really like this video! you can really tell that you're a good and knowledgeable dark souls player and the commentary style is wonderful! i'm 100% going to now binge all your previous videos lol
This is a really unique and interesting concept for a vid, you're really good at making these videos! It makes me want to try doing a silly challenge run :3
Ahhhhh!! Absolutely wonderful video!! And this one made me laugh a lot more too. Ik a bunch of people for sure have already said this but the creativity of these challenges so far have been so nice, and so entertaining. You really seem to be getting a hang of this already, I’m loving every second of it. If you could think of a challenge to do, maybe something in dark souls 3 or Elden Ring would be cool? Just for some diversity. But ultimately, whatever you find most fun so the best for everyone. Also don’t feel bad about those 17 gwyndolin deaths. I still haven’t even fought him once. Anyways, keep it up❤
Oh also also also, what are your thoughts on something like streaming? I know it’s kind of early to ask a question like that, but I was really curious. If it’s something you’d like to do eventually, I’d love to tune into that!
just wanna say first off Great content👍 love how different and unique it is from the other souls like content creators (I don’t think I’ve seen anyone do this type of DS content b4) and secondly please try to do this challenge in the other two dark souls games 🙇
I counted 17 for that one boss. Also, you should make up a Minecraft challenge run. You could start with the unupgraded warpick (pickaxe) and leather armor, after you "mine" in the depths or blighttown you could upgrade to an iron axe and armor, and then when you reach Dukes Archives, you can use crystal (diamond) weapons and the crystal armor set for the rest of the game.
To be completely honest, when I first started watching your last video, I expected to end up feeling bored, and listening to it in the background while I did something else. To my surprise, my Xbox ended up going to sleep, because I had put my controller down and just been watching. I'm very pleased to say that this video has been just as successful in keeping me engaged, and as someone with a couple thousand hours in DS1/2/3/R, I'm genuinely impressed with what you've come up with and accomplished here. What a fun idea for a run! You were harder on yourself than I would have been,, in that i would count the lava of chaos pyromancies as separate from regular fire, and I would count dark sorceries as their own thing too. Maybe for Halloween do a spooky run where you can only use items (weapons, armor, and spells) made from bones or that specifically say they're evil or scary like the evil eye ring or the server. Maybe you need to kill all major bosses, like lord soul bosses, with a different spooky weapon or evil magic. That or like a vampire run where you can only heal with lifesteal effects? I could see it being fun in any of the games, really.
I think that could be a fun way to spice it up if you decide to do a similar challenge! Also, I am planning a simple challenge for Halloween, so I'll see if it works out!

Second vid! This is gonna be fun! :D Edit: Awesome vid, mate! I loved the idea of the run and the challenge that came with having to consider the material of what you kill a boss with. Cool stuff! I know it's all semantics but fun fact... dung pie toxic is not the same as other toxics, so the game backs you up
This is very interesting kind of challenge
Thank you for this video, it seems I found new souls channel🥰
Another creative idea m8, enjoyed the vid.
This was fun to watch! Like your creative ideas for materials and such.
If I can suggest something, maybe have some soft background audio, either with in-game music or the actual audio. I dunno if it's just me that thinks it might help though. Otherwise, really good video, and it'll be cool seeing your style develop over time!
EDIT: Wait, the in-game audio is there. It was just pretty soft.
Fromsoft, if you will.
Excellent videos! Can't wait to see what you do next
Absolutely loving the content from this channel
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it!
Legitimately good content. Keep it up!
