The issue with the Jocko Podcast is that I think I can just casually listen, in the background, while I try to work but in reality I find myself coming back to the podcasts to watch.

After 26 years in the Navy , I be retiring soon , when I think I have done enough, I see this two beautiful and great warriors and I think to myself man, have I done enough? “Everyone needs a mission” great words!
George Lucas went to Modesto High School in Modesto California, which used to have Friday night cruising on McHenry Boulevard, and also had an annual Graffiti Night.
I’ve always been curious how these guys felt about us Submariners 😂 love how Warrant just blows by all of the aspects about combat, such as bullets, blood, and explosions that terrifies people and cuts to all of the fun to be had by all 👊🏼
The coolest part for me was his Apollo stories...now, that's freaking awesome. War stories are great, but Bill got to be involved in human history...so damn cool.
I really appreciate the Jocko podcasts. I am truly a better man, father, and employee as a result of listening. Last summer my company had some personnel changes, and I got a new boss. He was a monster. My stress and anxiety was so bad I broke out in hives, and had trouble eating and sleeping. I never complained. I just did my best to implement the knowledge and lessons from the Jocko podcasts. One day, out of the blue, the company president called me on my personal phone and said something to the effect, "Hey Steve, I know this guy treats you like shit, and I think you have endured enough. I am going to move you into a new slot in the company, with a new chain of command." My mind went blank for a moment, then I replied, "Hell no, Sir, that son of a bitch is not going to run me out of my job." He was stunned, and truly appreciated my willingness to stick it out. The end result is, I got a bonus, a raise, and learned new skills, and, oddly enough, developed a positive relationship with the SOB.
I’d really love to see some of the “inter-war” guys. Guys who were in during the 70s, 80s, 90s. These guys would’ve seen action in some really interesting, little-known conflicts/trouble spots - Beirut, Grenada, Panama, 1st Gulf War, Somalia, Bosnia, etc.. They were also around for the development of counterterrorist units like Delta and Team 6 (pre-DEVGRU). It would be great to hear their stories, plus stories from any of Jocko’s mentors in the Teams.
I listen to your podcasts when I do art and I think you are phenomenal. I hope to become an airman some day, and listen to your motivational videos whenever I work or draw. The utmost respect to you Mr. Willink.
I am currently going through withdrawals due to some bad decisions I made, and am having a hard time. This podcast is something that is seriously helping me get through this hell. BUT I WILL GET THROUGH IT. I WILL NOT QUIT.. Thank you jocko.
Withdraw sucks bro just remember whatever you do keep your mind busy because if you try and get sober by sitting by yourself in a house you are probably not going to get clean. Your mind is your biggest enemy in that scenario. Get out, excercise, go hiking, go running and you'll have success.

im 28 years old, when i was younger, i always wanted to join the marines, i was also trained in ju jitsu, judo, and karate before the age of 13. in school i was bullied, my parents got divorced and i tricked myself into hating everyone, including myself, and the united states. seeing pointless war made me deter from my path.... from joining the military. And couldnt continue training martial arts due to my family being split. Ive lost myself all those years of what i shouldve done, and what i wanted to do in the beginning of mylife.... Some days i think i couldve been part of something special of finding brotherhood in the military, and training mymind to not folly on useless thoughts. These podcasts have brought back my feelings that i had when i was 3-6 years old. GET AFTER IT .
This frickin guy 😂 Love the story about the nunnery / orphanage... hilarious! That aside, thank you Officer Pozzi for your service. What a life... wow.. thank you for sharing your story.
Fantastic interview. Really interesting gentleman. Fascinating to hear another Vietnam veteran who also served in Iraq. Those guys are truly beyond amazing. 🇺🇸 💪 Quote of the day: "There should be two list of ingredients, good for you, and bad for you."
Spent Memorial Day with my Dad, 2 time purple heart recipient, screaming Eagle Vietnam Vet. Also rubbed elbows with WWII Vets. Memorial Day means 5 things to me, honor, god, country, valour and sacrifice, I personally could care less about the burgers and hotdogs. Awesome podcast.
Thank you for sharing this inspiring story & true super hero Posey 🇺🇸 a humble man , strong as the California Live Oak Tree. The same tree Jocko & Echo Charles were carved from ❤️🔥👍
What memories. While at RPC 2004-2005 deployment, I personally gifted the Falcon Hotel chandelier crystal ball, the bottom jewel of the chandelier to a fellow warrior. Its now in his Will.
I loved ship life in the Marines. Being deployed on the USS Iwo Jima was one of the highlights of my career, and I was one of the few that genuinely enjoyed the routines and lifestyle of being on ship. I would have NEVER wanted to step foot in a sub. Being in a pressurized tube a couple hundred feet underwater for months at a time doesnt seem like a fun deal to me.

Get tu lam on the podcast! He is a retired Green beret with an interesting life story. I think you and echo will like him alot.
Shawn ryan did a podcast with tu lam. At vigilance elite youtube channel it's Awsome and all the other episodes
@@dawidpelc4775 Just caught that one yesterday. It was really good.
Most of these Ex military ,you tubers, authors, and business owners know one another !
@@dawidpelc4775 it was awesome indeed! Jocko should get Tu and Glover !
@@akimbo5u for sure
When he said I'm in the engine room turning a wrench. I had flash back of 1MMR on the Kitty HAWK. Great times but it was hell 6x6 for almost 3 years.
What a great story teller. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode.
Thank you for sharing this inspiring story & true super hero Posey 🇺🇸 a humble man , strong as the California Live Oak Tree. The same tree Jocko & Echo Charles were carved from ❤️🔥👍
Loved listening to Warrant Pozzi but the last bit (staying on the path) between the two of you was absolutely hilarious
This was one of your best guests. EPIC🇺🇸
I love this podcast! I have listened several times! 👊💯
What memories.
While at RPC 2004-2005 deployment, I personally gifted the Falcon Hotel chandelier crystal ball, the bottom jewel of the chandelier to a fellow warrior. Its now in his Will.
💯 true and life is short. Never get old. It cripples you. Kids need us.
I'm not a Team guy, I know two things about it, jack and shit, but I dearly loved hearing you guys talk about it. Great interview and convo. BZ!
Awesome 3 plus hours… thank you!!
Thank you for your service
Full respect for this man
This man is a gem.
Great episode had to listen to again.
Been in the Ironworkers for 10 years not a week has gone by where I haven’t seen or been involved in a fight
Like prison.
I've been an Iron Worker/Metal Fabricator for about 26 years now, and I'm always happy to watch you young guys fight. Im getting to old for that shit..lol
@@olsparkywisenheimer8239 lmao most of the time it’s the older general Forman’s starting the fights with another crew and then us young guys fighting the fight lol 😂 keeps things interesting that’s for sure
@@walterlangkowski4723 Hahahaha!! Well good on you for having the old mans back. As it should be. I'm actually calming down in my old age. I've found the less often i lose my shit, the more impact it has when i finally do..🤣🤣
This was such an enjoyable podcast
Guys that’s our teacher at stj high school what an alpha🥶
Posey was my swim buddy in 46 and a lot of the things we did were crazy fun. We are losing guys at an alarming rate and it needs to be documented!❤
The Vietnam vets are built different lol. MY favorite podcasts to listen to.
