Literally everyone in the band is *feeling* the music. This is so refreshing to see. I am so excited to see her again in San Francisco this October now that I'm legitimately into her music. I saw her open for Sharon van Etten and was totally under her spell and her album dropped shortly there after, and I have now listened to it countless times. 1000% will be one of my top three fav albums of the year I already know 💕
She has turkish origin. Proud of her.

INCREDIBLE. Everything you hear in this song, you can see being played on stage......is that too much to ask? I get so tired of bands on SNL-etc, that have musicians on stage, but they're just there to look like they are playing what's been programmed on a synth.....oh well....

I like how different it is.
At first I wasn't sure what to think. Catchy, interesting, odd. I checked out some of her other stuff and her playing style reminds me of when I'm alone at home just experimenting. I like how she's just putting her own style out there. I'm beginning to really like it.

Wow actual quality good new music I am impressed. Not Britany Spears/Millie Cyrus/Katy Perry type of pop crap. This lady is actually a good musician with a unique voice. It practically brings a tear to the eye. It's new, original music, but in a strange way it actually make me feel somewhat nostalgic for the early 80s too.

Going to shows and seeing them supporting other bands.

Listening to specialist radio stations.
Reading the music press.
And that's just a handful of things. Your question seemed to imply that such things were impossible.
EP’s generally. I usually just go through Apple Music’s Radio Stations, Alternative Playlists, etc. and find different artists. I found her when she only had a couple singles out

She's really good. I checked out her other performances, and she does a drumless duo version of this that's actually stronger, which tells you something. Thought her presence bland (after the first impression of her prettiness), but it's more about the music which is as it should be.

Do you think Colbert maybe could have asked her how to pronounce her name correctly? In every interview I've seen with her I've never seen anyone pronounce Nilufer like that.
It sounds the same as how she pronounces it herself in interviews. How have you heard it said?

She pronounces it here the same as Stephen says it, the same as everyone I've ever heard say it. If anything, he was wrong in saying Yawn-ya not Yann-ya.
Wow. Not nearly as good as the studio version. It's hardly even her fault; the mixing is atrocious.
