Yes! I listen to a bit of it, and if anything is interesting I have to make a youtube search for the actual videos. If I weren't playing this in the background, I would not have the patience for it. Still it helps us find those gems we might have missed.
Andy Samberg as Cage is incredible. I think that was the best and they could pass as brothers. But, Tina Faye's Sarah Palin character on it's own wins the prize. Faye could go anywhere dressed like that and anyone would be convinced she was Palin and could even walk in The White House without her identity being questioned. Thanks for the compilation video!
Man - NAILED it again! I was holding out for Walken, but kept thinking Cocker, Palin, and Hillary could take it… I’d forgotten about Reno! SOOOOO many to choose from. Great collection, MsMojo!
Twenty five minutes of nonstop narration about how good different people's impressions were. Someone once grew trees. Someone saw them and explained what they looked like to somone who drew them. Having seen the drawing, someone wrote a book about how trees made them feel. The book was made into a silent movie. A one armed mime played the tree. A German techno band made an album they dedicated to the first tree seed, which came from space. Aren't trees great?! In 2024, media is the message with nothing left to say. Joe Cocker is probably my favourite artist of all time. I have a tattoo of the golden frame containing the photo of Joe mucking about, that's on the cover of "Mad Dogs and Englishmen". So as a huge Cocker fan, I thought John Belushi did an absolutely spot on impression of Joe. Fun fact; When I was 10 yrs old, growing up in Australia, the Woodstock festival was being televised. I walked into the lounge room one day and saw my 17 yr old brother laying on the floor on a bean bag, listening to JC perform. So I sat on the couch behind him and began to watch. I thought there was something wrong with him. I asked my brother why he was moving around like that and he just told me "Maybe you'll like him when you're older". But to me, his body movements and his flailing about made him look like an extra in a zombie movie. But my brother was right. I did learn to enjoy his music, to the point where I'd rarely listen to anything else. I also found out that his body movements and swaying was in perfect sync with the music. He was one of a kind. RIP Joe 🌹
You missed off Bill Hader doing John Malkovich, with John arguing with Bill claiming he doesn’t sound like that and Bill clapped back saying “Yes, yes you do. You sound exactly like that!” Edit: also Bill doing Robert De Niro to his face and then tricking him into saying “you talking to me?” Which Robert refuses to do because he gets asked all the time to do the line.
@@PyChick Mine too and was wondering why it hadn’t made this list because it’s one of the most watched and popular videos on SNL’s channel that’s why I mentioned it along with the Robert one where Bill managed to trick him into saying one of his most famous movie lines ever, and Bill has been the only person outside the director of that movie who has gotten Robert to say that line because he point blank refuses to say it for anyone because he’s always getting asked to say it. And it’s a shame that we’ll never see Bill playing Vinny ever again because he said that he was once @tck by an Italian woman who wasn’t happy with how he was speaking because her husband speaks and sounds exactly the same way Bill does as Vinny. And it was that character that actually started his career! I’m also glad that he’s changed his mind about not doing Stefon anymore (which I hope he does at some point changes his mind about not playing Vinny anymore!) because again some people who aren’t part of the LGBTQ+ community went after him for it because they deemed it offensive, so he put out a statement saying that he was no longer going to play that character anymore until the actual LGBTQ+ community got involved especially the G part and told him that they love the character and pleaded with him not to retire the character of Stefon which Bill then put out another statement saying he’s changed his mind and would continue to play him. Same thing with the small people community, they didn’t have a issue with him calling them the M word and they not only actually found it funny, but they also actually dress up as some of the things he called them for fancy dress parties and Halloween. He actually gave them a lot of different costume ideas with what he called and described them as instead of the usual costumes that everyone wears. It was people who aren’t part of the community that had a issue with it which is why he 🛑ped using the M word when referring to them, which is actually the funniest part of the characters breakdown of places and people in the NYC nightlife scene! These people need to mind their own business and worry about their own community instead of sticking their nose in to other communities that’s nothing to do with them! If the people who are part of the communities that he’s talking about have an issue with him then fair enough it’s between them and Bill like with the Italian women who @tcked him over Vinny. (And she’s the only person that we know of that has an issue with that character of Bill’s just because her husband sounds and talks exactly the same as Vinny according to what she told Bill after she 👋🏾ped him in public when he was in NYC once!) nobody else from the Italian community had an issue with Bill playing that character. These woke people need to give their heads a wobble and leave him alone, because he’s not being malicious or me@n when he plays these characters, he’s doing it as comedy! 🙄🤦🏾♀️

This is an example of how time often waters down history. As funny as the Walken skit is, there is NO better skit than Belushi & Cocker singing together dressed like twins; priceless!
It's not a well-known sketch, but David Spade impersonated Michael J. Fox in front of the man himself. Fox was so close to breaking with laughter which drove Spade right up to the line himself.

Belushi for sure. His Cocker was great.
Maybe just play the skits, SHUT UP and wrap up with a summary at the end. I couldn't make it through the second skit.
Well when you don’t show much of the impression, how are we supposed to come to a conclusion?
You spoke more than the actual impressionists.

I love how the host describes the greatness of the impressions, while not letting you hear the impressions that are being teased in the background.
How annoying was that? A program about the host!
Yes I'm stopping after 2 mins - life's too short to listen to someone explain the comedy you're about to watch - how gauche.
Absolutely she talks way too much
Exactly. The greatest bits are- BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH.
ikr?!?! it's wicked frustrating! I've stopped watching Ms Mojo's clips because of that😤

The narrator in this video is really in love with the sound of her own voice! But, so happy for two seconds of impressions each
They talk about how great the impression of Jennifer Aniston was even being in sync with her, yet you don’t show it. GEEZ!
Exactly.
It's at 6:00 in the video

It's INCREDIBLY hard to believe they have over 5 million subscribers. And yet they do. That shows how crazy UA-cam is.
