Adult: 18 to 65

Is there a specific age at which you move into the "Sanyas" stage?? I sometimes feel I'm already there...
or Maybe I'm born with two souls...and may start over schooling ?? later get married, have a family, retire and sanyas again???
please be kind and advice; I would like to hear your opinion.

When able to move directly to sannyas stop the cycle of birth and dead so go for it!
The goal is to be able to skip stage two and three.

it would be great if you could clarify one thing... do these stages of life only apply to men?? what is the role of women in these stages?
That's really a mind boggling question, which questions itself questions the authenticity of above philosophy of life.
Same just actions change for e.g. where men is earning women are taking care of their families & making sure that men remains free of all worries regarding household work.
Remember that was the period of "Male dominant views" but the rest of the stages are same for men & women. Men used to leave houses for long periods to learn skills & earn so I am not sure if we can call it patriarchy.

Dear Epified, Anything for women please? i know this would apply to women too these days but its just sad that the Indian culture never gave women the apt importance.
4 ashrams are brahmachrya, ghrahstha, vradha ashram n vanprastha. Get both ur facts n prounciation correct. Hindi n Sanskrit as they r not as a firang. If u take pride in pronouncing french correctly then do same for these languages as well

It is true that human thinks the second stage is the most important and the goal of human life-reproduction and money.
The most important its the last stage Moksha!
hardly anyone reached that cause.human is stucked on the second stage -human with 8 billion bodies and a world as an amusementpark/ Las Vegas/ stockmarket/ porncave,where human is lost and forgot to go home.
The second stage is for them who arent evolved enough to move directly to the fourth stage,which is human goal.
