Hey, we're Chad and Paul. We lived a pretty typical life up until a few years ago. Chad was a speech-language pathologist and Paul was an attorney. We worked in New York City and by all means were set. But we didn't feel settled. We wanted something different. The van community? Love it. Started off 12 years ago in my '86 Ford Club Wagon that I bought for 1 G. In and out of it first 5 years. Solid now for 7. Yeah, when I decide to invest 150k or whatever for your kind of upgrade,
I'll join "the Community". Have fun kids. Oh yeah, I'm putting a Jacuzzi in the Wagon this summer for the cool mountain nights.
I was doing a lot of truck camping then got an 87 VW Westfalia upgraded the crap out of it. I now have a Revel and no upgrading that. The Revel is like my old VW on steroids and like my VW people still come up to me in parking lots, on the road and campgrounds to check it out. LOTS OF FUN and great van folks

EXCELLENT. Subscribed, I love all the stuff you have done. July I am heading to Adrenaline Vans in Montrose CO. they are installing the Agile 28 gal. aux fuel tank and a spare tire carrier. I am thinking the next thing will be the suspension upgrade you have. Damn this Revel is turning in to my VW Westfalia I had, upgrade upgrade upgrade LOL. Safe travels

Great video, thanks! I'm gradually adding more to my van and recently started following your channel. I'm thinking about adding Terrawagon Hood Spoiler, and also like the look of covering the chrome on the grill in black like you did. Did Owl Vans do that for you also?

I’d imagine if they take noobs out they are probably pulling them out.

Anyone focusing on looking cool has not really traveled. Once you have been out in the world, you realize that looking as inconspicuous as possible it the key to safety!

Question!!! When you change the range on the tire suspension from 1 to 3 does it have to be done on each tire?
Yes- we do it to every tire. Luckily it takes a second to do.
By the time you finish with your van I believe it will be close to half a million dollars.

Considering the sprinter body panels are galvanized why are you worried about rust. I have not noticed that the paint is thin and I live in what would be considered a harsh climate.
in Brazil they don't have these LED headlights, how much do the headlights cost?
Agree with you guys this is another great part of the van community. Have to point out, near the end -- notice Orlando up in the corner-- it looks as if he suddenly starts nodding his head when Paul asks the questions. Subliminal messages to the viewers, maybe? LOL

Why did you go for van compass vs agile? I just ordered the stealth mode and been researching both options
We didn’t want a lift- just to raise the rear so it didn’t squat. We love the adjustability of the van compass 4.3. Both options I’m sure are great and people love both.

What are your security system recommendations to protect that investment?
At the moment we just have security cameras. We live in here full time so we’re usually in or very near the van most of the time

look that you are heavy with the Mercedes the Mercedes to have you rear ration the floor has a double step and height has 20 cm more with which it staggers like a flag the body that is quite good is that of the citroen jumper the peugeot boxer or the Fiat Ducato that body is lower and wider with which you can sleep wide in the mercedes can not sleep wide because you have to sleep along which it loses that space and if what we want is 4-wheel drive because it is time for the Mercedes to put the batteries eh and put a hybrid engine of 200 hp as for example the Toyota RAV4 with front wheel drive and two electric motors to the intelligent rear wheel drive and in this way we have a body that we can sleep to the widths that does not have a second step which is lower in height. and by the way that Mercedes since it pays so much to put quality paint, I have a white Sprinter and it gets rust points without any blow
The other thing look at the right rear mud flap it looks like it’s just barely touching the tire? It will if it gets any mud on it? Just saying

This is very cool, but pure fantasy. No one is going to pay $150k (or whatever the negotiated price is) and then sink another $100k in mods. For $250k, you are going to get something far nicer and more capable than a revel!
No one? Guess again. I was at Van Fest in St. George Utah and you should see what people are doing to their vans and they are loving it. May not be your cup of tea but to each his own.
