It isn’t really a turbo lag, it’s the electronic sensor on the pedal. I needed a peddle commander for my ram truck which had a 5.7 liter v8. It was night and day when it was installed.
4:22 great vid for all us adventure van newbies! Practical and well researched solutions. Can you tell me which mount, that appears to include a short tubular nudge bar, you mounted your front bumper Baja lights on? Thanks
You mentioned the Van Compass shock settings backwards. Setting 1 is the softest, and 3 is the stiffest. And of course setting 2 has the micro adjustments which is used mostly for daily driving.
Great video, great suggestions and content. The post production community comments and discussion also really enhanced the knowledge base made possible by someone like you posting something like this. 😉 Much appreciated! Thinking of buying a Sprinter for retirement fun. 👍 Safe and fun travels.
I’m not sure if they’re technically “road legal.” They’re so low that they don’t seem to be an issue. I’ve driven at my van head on and they’re much less bright than any of the trucks I see on the road today.
Mercedes-best van out there💪 And about pedal box- invest some more and let your ECU remap from someone who knows what’s he’s doing…way better than any pedalbox About lights- who ever order new Sprinter without LED lights!? 😎
I've driven a friend's van with the ECU remap and it's really impressive- that's on the list. LED's would have been best- I had no idea the halogens would be so bad. Oh well.
What size tires are you running? Also what shop in sc did you use? I’m in the south end of town and trying to decide who to use for the suspension if I don’t have the time to do it myself.

Thanks! It’s from VanSpeed- I have gotten what it’s called, but it’s a great little addition.

Oops- thanks for noting.

Thanks, Joe! It’s been a fun project and a blast for our little family. You’ll love it.
I agree about the hideous factory lights - are those front bumper lights allowed on-road? If so, I'm ordering!

Great video. Please keep making more
Thanks! We're heading into the off-season for cycling and I'll probably sprinkle in a van video from time to time.
does the suspention add on raise the van ?
Does the Pedal box log anything where the dealer could void any warranties? Do people leave this in when they go in for service?
Where do you get the dashboard switch/button for lights? Thanks
I would also appreciate a link to these switches 😊
Which model S-Works is in the background? ;)
